The information that appeared in Evan Chu's mind was extremely clear to the Sword Spirit Luna. Hearing him call out to her, she spoke up: "This martial art is indeed extremely powerful. With your current Chaos Dragon Force, you can at most unleash it twice."
"That domineering? Then its power must be extraordinary! Luna, hurry and tell me what those runes mean!" Evan was overjoyed and urged her eagerly.
"This martial art consists of seven moves. Right now, you have the first one—it's called Tyrant Cleave. With your current strength, this move can kill an Eighth-Layer Divine Martial expert, and even those at the Ninth Layer will be severely injured." Luna explained.
Evan was even more delighted when he heard this. This was exactly the martial art he needed most right now—with this move, heading to the Azure Tide Ruins wouldn't be so dangerous anymore.
Luna then slowly explained the key points of using Tyrant Cleave to Evan. The information was vast, and many of the phrases were extremely difficult to understand. It took Evan quite a while before he grasped the basics.
Evan slowly practiced the move in his mind. At first, he couldn't find the right approach at all—the Tyrant Cleave he visualized had form but no force, failing to unleash the true attack power of the technique.
Even though it was just mental practice, not being able to grasp the true essence of the move made him a bit anxious.
"Evan, take your time to comprehend this move. Since it's called Tyrant Cleave, it must be a truly domineering technique—a move that lets you feel like a king ruling over the world, making everyone feel fear in their hearts after you unleash it.
If your aura already suppresses your opponent before the fight even starts, then combined with your powerful Chaos Dragon Force, its might will truly be unrivaled." Luna was also a bit anxious as she urged Evan.
That kingly, world-ruling aura is exactly what the martial art within the Frostbane Sword requires. But Evan has always been indecisive by nature, so it's naturally hard for him to master it.
After Luna's explanation, Evan seemed to understand something. He slowly adjusted his mentality, trying to project the aura of a true powerhouse—the kind of presence that remains calm before thousands of troops, unshaken even in the face of landslides or disasters.
He practiced it over and over in his mind. After about ten days, he finally mastered the move, though he was left utterly exhausted.
Evan slowly opened his eyes, tightened his grip on the Frostbane Sword, and stood up. Instantly, a regal, intimidating aura radiated from him—his temperament had once again advanced.
He glanced at the sky—it was still night, with a while to go before dawn. He decided to absorb a bit more Stellar Power and leave the Western Beast King Hall for the Azure Tide Ruins once morning came.
Early the next morning, Evan arrived outside Heaven Ape's room. Heaven Ape, perhaps knowing Evan would come, was already waiting for him.
"Old Ape, I'm preparing to head to the Azure Tide Ruins. Where's the teleportation gate for the Western Beast King Hall?" Evan asked.
"You've really decided to leave now? You know how dangerous the Azure Tide Ruins are. How about you wait until I'm free, and I'll go with you?" Heaven Ape said.
"I can go alone. After all, it's inconvenient for a monster beast to enter the Azure Tide Ruins. Don't worry, I'll take care of myself," Evan replied.
"Alright then. I hope you succeed in reclaiming the Frostbane Sect and make it strong again." Heaven Ape said, then took out two tokens, one red and one white.
Each token was engraved with a lifelike image—one of a fox, the other of an ape. Just looking at them, it was clear they were extremely precious.
"Evan, this is the token Fox King Cyril asked me to give you. If you encounter trouble in the Azure Tide Ruins that you can't resolve and need help from the Northern Beast King Hall, just send someone with this token to the Northern Hall and he'll help you.
The red token is for the Western Beast King Hall, and it works the same way. Treasure them well—unless you truly have no other way out, it's best not to use them. After all, there's a peace treaty between the monster beast and human races; if things get out of hand, it could lead to war." Heaven Ape said seriously.
Evan took the tokens and placed them directly into his storage ring. "Old Ape, I know the stakes. I won't use them unless it's life or death. Please take me to the teleportation gate now!"
"Aren't you going to say goodbye to your brothers and your women?" Heaven Ape looked at Evan and asked.
"No. Goodbyes only add to the pain. Why make everyone suffer? Once I've established myself, I'll come back for them personally," Evan replied.
Heaven Ape understood Evan's reasoning and said, "Let's go. I'll take you to the Western Beast King Hall's teleportation gate."
The teleportation gate wasn't far from the Western Beast King Hall. The two of them flew through the air for half an hour before arriving. The gate lay beneath a cliff, and from a distance, Evan could see many monster beasts guarding it.
When the beasts saw Heaven Ape approach, they all saluted. Heaven Ape said, "This gate hasn't been used in ages. Be careful during transmission and watch out for spatial turbulence."
Evan nodded. "I understand. Selena, Claire, and my elder brother—please look after them for me. Make sure they have all the spirit stones they need for cultivation."
Heaven Ape walked to the teleportation gate and waved his large hand. Instantly, the gate flashed with dazzling white light. "Evan, go on. I'll take good care of them, don't worry. By the time you return, they'll all be much stronger."
Without another word, Evan walked into the teleportation gate. A powerful force pulled at him, and in an instant, he vanished.
Watching Evan depart, Heaven Ape muttered to himself, "Master, I hope you regain your memories soon. This world may become even more extraordinary because of you."
Evan felt an immense pressure on his body, making it hard to breathe—the sensation of teleportation was truly uncomfortable.
The feeling faded after a short while, and Evan soon found himself in a place filled with birdsong and blooming flowers. There was another teleportation gate here, and he had just stepped out of it.
"Who are you? Why did you come out of the teleportation gate?" a voice called out to Evan.
Evan turned toward the voice and saw a beautiful young woman, about seventeen or eighteen years old, speaking to him.
She wore a pink dress, her hair elegantly coiled atop her head—her attire suggested she was a disciple of some sect.
At that moment, Evan was completely disoriented, so he smiled and asked, "Excuse me, miss, where am I in the Azure Tide Ruins? I entered the teleportation gate by accident and ended up here."
The young woman looked Evan up and down. "Don't try to fool me. This teleportation gate is linked directly to the monster beast clan. What kind of beast are you? Reveal your true form, or do I have to cut you down?"
Evan was speechless—she actually mistook him for a monster beast. "I'm not a monster beast. I really ended up here by accident."
"If you won't tell the truth, don't blame me for being rude. Take this!" With that, the girl summoned a longsword and attacked Evan.
