Explosively Handsome
Faustin: "Maybe it's because his bloodline is so unusual that even Master can't predict if this omen is good or bad."
"He'll be fine, right?"
Faustin stared at the spot where Sean Shaw had been standing—now just a giant crater—and said nothing.
Nine bolts of Tribulation Storm crashed down, then finally stopped. The storm clouds rapidly dispersed.
Lily Bai teleported over and saw a pit full of charred rubble.
Sean was nowhere inside.
"Sean?" She scrambled down, digging through the stones. "Where are you?"
"Why did you disappear? Don't scare me!"
"Did you shrink? Are you hiding somewhere?"
......
No one answered.
It was deathly silent.
"That lightning just now was almost as powerful as a Genesis Bolt. He's probably been blasted to nothing, not even bones left." someone said.
Lily Bai jerked her head up and saw Princess Quinn Xiao.
She'd seen the celestial phenomenon too and rushed over.
"What's with that look?" Princess Quinn Xiao sneered. "That bastard should've been fried by lightning ages ago! What, you really think he'll come back and be Crown Prince?"
"Shut up! He's not dead!" Lily Bai shouted, veins popping. "Sean! Get out here! I know you're still around!"
"There's no life at all in this pit," said the Guardian Drake Lord, whose Divine Race senses were far keener than Lily Bai's. He couldn't hide his regret as he said, "Come back up."
Lily Bai's legs gave out and she collapsed to the ground.
Princess Quinn Xiao smirked, triumphant: "That's what happens—trash gets taken by heaven! Sean Shaw never should've existed!"
The Celestial Empress smiled and called out, "Azure Dragon Lord."
"Your Majesty," answered the Azure Dragon Lord.
"The main culprit is dead. As for the rest—imprison them! Sentence them strictly according to the Drake Abyss Legal Code!"
"Yes, Your Majesty."
He turned to seize Baxa first.
To him, Faustin and the others were hardly worth mentioning—Baxa was the strongest among them, so he went for Baxa first.
But as he turned, he suddenly froze.
Others noticed his strange reaction, turned to look—and also froze, stunned.
"Little Five! You're alive?!" Adrian Drake blurted out in shock and delight.
Lily Bai scrambled up from the edge of the pit.
Sean Shaw stood there in a red embroidered Divine Robe, hair perfectly neat, his whole presence radiating a heavy, flamboyant royal pressure and an even colder, bone-deep chill.
He looked absolutely explosive—handsome to the max...
For a moment, Lily forgot who she was.
She forgot about all the eyes watching her.
She dashed over and threw herself into his arms.
All the icy pressure around Sean melted away; the corners of his lips curved up.
"Where did you run off to? I thought... I really thought you were gone for good!" Lily nearly burst into tears.
"My clothes were all ruined," Sean said, wrapping his arm around her. "Even my Storage Pouch got blasted, so I had to leave and put on something new. I couldn't just... walk out here naked, right?"
More importantly, he didn't want Lily to see him all messy and disheveled.
He only wanted to see that lovestruck look in her eyes.
Lily Bai broke into a wide grin.
Her Little Five—her Sean—was still here.
For a moment, she thought she'd lost him...
......
"Crown Prince Highness! I, Adrian, salute Your Highness!" Adrian suddenly knelt, full of excitement.
Only then did Lily Bai realize how many people were watching!
She let go of Sean's waist, blushing a little.
Sean Shaw stepped forward to face the gods, looking at the four Dragon Lords.
The Guardian Drake Lord also bowed: "Greetings, Crown Prince Highness."
The River Drake Lord and Lord Wynn Drake exchanged glances and also bowed.
They were surprised, but the Divine Race only believes in one true authority: the will of Heaven.
This was Heaven's choice.
