"Roxanne Lin versus Shangguan Wuwo?" Jenny Sima announced, and Evan Chu looked curiously at the previously arrogant youth.
"His name is Shangguan Wuwo? He's from the Shangguan Family?" Evan asked Luna Chu beside him, clearly seeking confirmation.
"He should be! I recognize most of the Shangguan Family, but this arrogant guy is pretty unfamiliar. In Flowing Cloud City, anyone with the surname Shangguan has to be from the top-ranked Shangguan clan."
Luna Chu was puzzled too, not daring to answer with complete certainty.
At that moment, Roxanne Lin walked to the center of the arena. She gave Evan a quick nod, her face under the purple veil full of excitement.
"Go for it, Roxanne!" Evan silently cheered in his heart. He had a feeling Roxanne could definitely beat this guy.
Shangguan Wuwo also stepped onto the arena, his white robes making him look especially spirited. He was quite handsome, almost on par with Evan.
"Evan Chu, that's your fiancée, right? Talk about a surprise—this ugly girl actually made it into the top ten. That's rare!" A familiar voice drifted into Evan's ears.
Evan looked over and saw it was Wolf Liu, his former defeated opponent, mocking him again. Insults about other things were fine, but targeting his fiancée—Evan almost couldn't hold back from teaching him a lesson.
But he quickly restrained himself. People like Wolf Liu weren't worth it. "My fiancée being 'ugly' is none of your damn business. Quit barking already. You better not be number three, or you'll regret it!"
