Perfect Resolution

1/4/2026

With this, Mrs. King was delighted, but everyone else was not!

Just as the others were about to protest, Grandfather King spoke up: “President Yin came today just to remind me of something. He didn’t say it outright, but I understood! If today’s division of assets doesn’t satisfy the Mo Family, you won’t get a single cent! The Mo Family is already here, but they haven’t visited—they’re waiting for this outcome! Let me be honest: the Mo Family came here to back up their eldest daughter! They brought a huge sum of money, and if today’s division doesn’t please them, the King Family might cease to exist! If the skin is gone, what will the hair attach to? Think about it yourselves!”

Everyone else fell silent.

They understood how outrageous things had gotten lately—even Sophie Mo had stormed home to her family. It’d be weird if the Mo Family didn’t support her.

But letting all that money go so easily was hard to accept!

“It was Mrs. King who drove my sister-in-law away. What’s that got to do with us?” grumbled the King Family’s eldest branch.

Mrs. King snorted.

“Enough, let’s make a decision! If you agree to this division, go sign with the lawyers! If not, you get nothing—go out and make it on your own!” Grandfather King made the final call.

The families looked at each other, then all chose to sign with the lawyers.

With both the Yin and Mo Families present, they couldn’t fight back—they had no choice!

Better this than offending the Mo Family and getting nothing, right?

Mrs. King hadn’t expected the division to go so smoothly—she’d managed to secure her son’s share of the family assets.

With these assets, Mrs. King stopped caring whether Dale would have kids or not.

After all, the division no longer depended on the number of children!

Thanks to Grandfather King’s decisive actions, the King Family’s issues were quickly resolved.

Sure enough, the day after the division, the Mo Family came to visit and made it clear: Julian King’s branch would never return—they were settling down for good.

No one in the King Family dared argue—no one could go head-to-head with the Mo Family.

Just like that, Julian King’s crisis was easily resolved.

Three months flew by in a flash.

Many local powers went through a major reshuffle.

Charles Yin used his strong hand to take away a lot of power from the Grand Duke.

At first, the Grand Duke wanted to fight Charles Yin head-on, but Charles threw out evidence of things Meile had done. The Grand Duke instantly backed down.

Unless he wanted to lose his daughter, he had no choice but to yield!

Charles Yin used similar tactics to handle all the local powers, successfully establishing a foundation in the region and planting Yin Enterprises’ subsidiaries here.

Julian King, now back home, no longer had anything to worry about and spent his days clinging to Sophie Mo.

He’d often bring their son along to remind his wife that he existed.

Sure enough, for their son’s sake, Sophie Mo finally forgave Julian King.

That day, Shawn King, with Julian King leading the way, went to Danni Cosmetics to look for their mom.

“Good boy!” Sophie Mo saw her son and immediately handed her work to someone else, scooped him up, and asked, “What brings you here?”

“Daddy says today is your love anniversary, and it must be celebrated!” Shawn King wrapped his arms around Sophie Mo’s neck and said in a childish voice, “Mommy, I want a love anniversary too!”

Passing by, Rona Muir overheard and burst out laughing, coming over to tease Leon King, “So tell Auntie, why do you want a love anniversary?”

Leon King replied confidently, “Daddy says any man without a love anniversary is a failure! I don’t want to be a failure!”

Sophie Mo couldn’t help but laugh, giving Julian King a look. “What have you been teaching the kid?”

“I didn’t say anything wrong!” Julian King grinned shamelessly. “That’s why I always remember our love anniversary!”

“Where’s Leon?” Sophie Mo asked. “You snuck out—did you dump all the company’s work on him? He’s your nephew, you know. Aren’t you being a bit harsh?”

Ever since the King Family split, Julian King’s company had completely moved back to the country, cutting all ties with the past.

Naturally, Leon King had come over with Julian King.

Now that the company was getting bigger, the uncle and nephew were both so busy they barely had time to breathe.

Julian King was now Chairman, while Leon King was the company’s President.

“Oh, Leon? He’s busy dating these days.” Julian King said nonchalantly. “I thought he’d stay single for a hundred years. Turns out, he’s just like everyone else!”

Sophie Mo perked up. “For a girl to catch Leon’s eye, she must be something special, huh?”

“Exactly. She’s just a receptionist at the company. Not long ago, she accidentally spilled milk tea on Leon, and insisted on paying for a new shirt. Leon couldn’t refuse, and that’s how they got tangled up.” Julian King replied.

Sophie Mo and Rona Muir exchanged a look, thinking, Seriously? That’s so dramatic!

“Leon is something else. A clumsy employee like that wouldn’t even pass probation. But not only did she pass, Leon moved her to the President’s Assistant Office. If he’s not interested in her, I’ll call him Uncle!” Julian King said with a smirk.

Julian King had always been surrounded by women, but never got caught up himself.

Little tricks like that never escaped his notice.

Sophie Mo laughed, “Honestly, this is great. Maybe soon we’ll have a new niece-in-law!”

Just then, Cici burst in from outside, excitedly saying, “Hey, guess who I just saw?”

“Who?”

Passing by, Rona Muir overheard and burst out laughing. She came over to tease Shaohuai King: "Shaohuai, tell Auntie, why do you want a love anniversary?"

Rona Muir said, “We were just talking about this! Oh my god, isn’t this exactly the plot where the CEO dotes on his little wife?”

Sophie Mo covered her mouth and giggled, “Now that you mention it, it really does sound like that!”

“It kind of does.” Cici couldn’t help but laugh too.

“What are you all laughing about?” Molly Yun walked over from a distance. “You three are gossiping and didn’t invite me!”

“Come on, Molly, let me tell you something fun.” Rona Muir pulled Molly Yun over and quickly filled her in on the story.

Then the four women huddled together to gossip, totally ignoring work.

Julian King stood off to the side, holding his son, completely speechless.

Wife, do you even remember today is our love anniversary?

We’re supposed to have a date—just the two of us!

These couples had weathered the test of time, and their feelings grew deeper every year.

Years of sweet, happy married life passed by in a flash.

The once-handsome men and young women were now parents, watching their kids grow up like weeds.

Looking back, they suddenly realized how quickly time had flown.

Years drifted by—more than a decade, just like that.

This year, Ethan Yin and Mia Gu both earned their PhDs in Economics and Architecture, while Yinuo Yin took home the boxing championship belt—then hurried home under his mom’s killer glare.

The Mo Family’s young gentlemen—Leo and Theo Mo, Shawn King, Leon King, and others—also graduated college and were pursuing graduate studies.

“Yinuo, congrats on the championship belt!” As soon as she walked in, Sakura Mi hugged Yinuo Yin.

Sakura Mi was no longer the naïve girl she used to be. With the help of the Yin Family, she’d earned a Master’s in Management and was now working while pursuing her doctorate.

“Don’t mention it.” Yinuo Yin was still as carefree as ever. After hugging Sakura Mi, he said, “My mom flipped out! I ran home as fast as I could! Sakura, I heard you’re planning to get your PhD here in the country? Not going abroad?”

Sakura Mi smiled and shook her head. “Studying here is just as good. Besides, the Yin Family’s education business is almost as good as overseas now.”
