Don’t Take Yourself So Seriously

Although Adrian Moon was extremely dissatisfied with Ethan Zhou's approach, she couldn't help but warn him: "Hall Master, please reconsider. All our top-grade Immortal Yuan Pills are supplied by Ian Song. If we raise the price recklessly, we might anger him and lose our supply!"

"That's not up to him," Ethan Zhou waved dismissively. "We control so many channels now. If we don't help him sell pills, who else will?"

Ethan continued, "I'll visit him myself. If he's smart, we'll keep working together. If not, then so be it."

What Ethan really wanted was to push the purchase price up to a hundred stones, letting them pocket an extra twenty. He was sure Ian Song wouldn’t turn down easy profit, so he was confident he could persuade him.

But he had no idea that Ian Song didn’t care about pocket change; what mattered to him was dominating the market.

Feeling proud of saving the Saint Alliance so many stones and boosting their income, Ethan’s mood soared. Suddenly, he turned to Adrian Moon: "Vice Hall Master Adrian, I’ve got a job for you. Escort 7.8 billion stones to headquarters."

Adrian Moon’s expression turned helpless—Ethan was clearly sending her away to openly seize control of Earth-Prime Hall.

"No way! I don’t agree to handing over that much!" Queenie Green suddenly protested.

Queenie Green spoke up. To quickly expand the market, they needed to build good relationships with city lords—and that meant using stones as leverage. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have burned through fifty billion in just a few months.

Plus, Golden Immortal couriers needed extra pay for transporting pills. If most of the stones were sent away, Earth-Prime Hall couldn’t function.

"Why keep so many stones here? Are you trying to pocket some for yourself?" Ethan Zhou stared sharply.

Adrian Moon quickly explained, "Hall Master, Queenie doesn’t mean that. Earth-Prime Hall needs stones to operate—we’re not skimming anything!"

Adrian also sent Queenie Green a voice transmission, urging her to stay calm—Ethan was new and needed to establish authority, so don’t challenge him head-on.

Ethan Zhou paused, then said, "Fine. Vice Hall Master Queenie, you’ll go with Adrian to headquarters."

"Understood!"

Queenie Green was deeply frustrated but didn’t argue further.

With Adrian Moon and Queenie Green sent away, Piper Willow was no match for Ethan Zhou, who could now seize control of Earth-Prime Hall at top speed.

After the meeting, Ethan Zhou took two Golden Immortal subordinates and headed to Greenrock Town to visit Ian Song.

Half an hour later, at the Chu Estate.

Ian Song finished his cultivation and was lounging in the courtyard, sunbathing. He’d already received word that Gale Division had sent a new hall master—courtesy of his spies in Earth-Prime Hall.
