"I've heard of a kind of Iron Mother, born in primordial chaos. If you were to add this material to your blade, not even an innate artifact could rival your weapon. But that's only a rumor—no one has ever acquired such a thing. What I'm referring to is another material, called Starfusion Gold," Tammy Tang said.
The Iron Mother born of primordial chaos refers to the Genesis Iron Mother—Joe Di was aware of this, and it truly is just a legendary material. He had no intention of seeking it out. But Starfusion Gold was something he’d never heard of before, so he immediately focused his spiritual sense on the World Tome.
For anything that lacked an answer, the World Tome would have it.
Tammy Tang continued, "You probably haven't heard of Starfusion Gold, but I have. Its value is extremely high, and it's incredibly rare. Legend has it, Starfusion Gold comes from the void, formed within pure metal planets that grow in the emptiness. These planets are entirely composed of metallic elements and are inhospitable to life.
After countless eons of corrosion and cleansing by void energies, these planets gradually shed their impurities and shrink from immense size. Eventually, they become chunks of material no larger than a washbasin or even a fist—this is Starfusion Gold. The closer its color is to colorless, the higher its grade."
At that moment, Joe Di’s spiritual sense received the introduction to Starfusion Gold from the World Tome, and it was nearly identical to Tammy Tang’s explanation. Starfusion Gold truly was a top-tier forging material—especially suited for his blade artifact, which could upgrade itself.
But the grading of Starfusion Gold wasn’t exactly as Tammy Tang described—colorless wasn’t the highest. Starfusion Gold had three stages: the first was gray, containing impurities; the second was colorless, refined after countless years in the void, having absorbed fragments of cosmic laws; and finally, after further tempering, it would turn white. White Starfusion Gold was the most valuable—an incomparable treasure.
Joe Di didn’t interrupt. He knew that since Tammy Tang brought up Starfusion Gold, she had more to say—otherwise, there’d be no point to her words.
Sure enough, after she finished, Tammy Tang smiled at Joe Di and said, "I know someone who owns Starfusion Gold. If we go together and negotiate, and you can offer something good in exchange, there's a good chance you’ll obtain it. I believe anyone who’s made it to the Void Market and dares to face a Genesis Realm Saint Emperor must have some treasures on hand, right?"
"Senior Tammy, I’m willing to go with you," Joe Di responded at once.
Tammy Tang nodded without surprise. "In that case, let's go together. Your strength is probably no less than mine. You may call me Senior Sister Xitan from now on—'Senior Tammy' is a bit too formal."
Joe Di’s decision to join Tammy Tang wasn’t because she said his Azure Veil Blade couldn’t be upgraded further. He knew perfectly well that even without Starfusion Gold, his Azure Veil Blade would continue to evolve, since he had also added Nirvana Blackstone to it—a detail Tammy Tang likely hadn’t noticed. This was probably due to his improved artifact refinement skills, as Nirvana Blackstone was added later.
But as Tammy Tang said, if his Azure Veil Blade could be infused with Starfusion Gold, its grade would surely rise by more than just one or two levels.
Nirvana Blackstone was precious, but Starfusion Gold was even rarer in some respects. First, because Starfusion Gold was scarce; second, because its value to him was unmatched.
Artifacts forged with Starfusion Gold possess a vast starry Dao resonance. If his Azure Veil Blade were to incorporate Starfusion Gold, the power of his techniques would rise another level. Though he now cultivated the Dao of Laws, his foundation was in the Starry Sky Technique. Even now, his meridians and spiritual sea were aligned with the starry sky.
Joe Di didn’t stand on ceremony and simply asked, "Senior Sister Xitan, can you tell me where we’re going?"
Tammy Tang chuckled. "We're headed to Thousand Bamboo Sanctuary."
Joe Di shook his head—he’d never heard of such a place.
Seeing Joe Di’s reaction, Tammy Tang knew he was unfamiliar with the place and decided to explain. "You may not have heard of Thousand Bamboo Sanctuary, but I’m sure you’ve heard of another place—Grand Origin Palace…"
Joe Di gave a wry smile. "I have indeed heard of Grand Origin Palace, and only because you mentioned it not long ago. You said its palace master was killed by Emperor Ye."
Tammy Tang looked at Joe Di in surprise for a long moment before asking, "Aren't you from this domain? The master of Grand Origin Palace is so famous, and you haven't heard of him?"
Joe Di could only reply, "Senior Sister Xitan, whether I've heard of Grand Origin Palace isn't important. Could you tell me more about this Thousand Bamboo Sanctuary?"
Tammy Tang could only sigh. "Alright, I really don't know how you've cultivated to this level. The master of Thousand Bamboo Sanctuary is Jason Silentwood. He and Suguang, master of Grand Origin Palace, were close friends, known as the Two Saints of the Void. Both were late-stage Genesis Realm cultivators, with astonishing combat power. Suguang was sociable and became famous throughout this universe, while Jason Silentwood preferred seclusion and cultivation, so few people knew of him.
Recently, Jason Silentwood has been acting out of character, making friends everywhere and even visiting the Void Market several times. This time, he’s invited numerous Genesis Realm Saint Emperors to Thousand Bamboo Sanctuary because he claims to have discovered an innate treasure—one too difficult for a single person to retrieve, so he’s invited everyone to negotiate. You know I’ve always traveled alone, but going after an innate treasure solo would be a disadvantage. None of those Genesis Realm cultivators are easy to deal with. I’m sure you’re extraordinary. If you come with me, you might even get Starfusion Gold."
"Who has Starfusion Gold?" Joe Di wasn’t interested in the innate treasure. He already possessed the Five Direction Banners, Yin-Yang Taiji Diagram, World Tome, and more—all innate treasures. Besides those, he had the Cosmic Membrane Fragment.

"It’s Jason Silentwood. He has a piece of Starfusion Gold—and I’m not the only one who knows it," Tammy Tang said.
…
Thousand Bamboo Sanctuary stood suspended in the vast void, spanning nearly ten thousand miles. Joe Di wasn’t surprised—he’d even seen the Void Sea before, and in terms of abruptness, the Void Sea was far more startling than Thousand Bamboo Sanctuary.
As soon as Joe Di arrived, he sensed that the sanctuary’s protective array was extraordinary—at least a seventh-rank divine array. Even if he used all four of his Five Direction Banners, he couldn’t set up such a formation.
Joe Di followed Tammy Tang to the edge of the sanctuary’s protective array, which opened at their approach. Waves of celestial music played as a void avenue appeared beneath their feet, leading directly to Thousand Bamboo Sanctuary. Two young attendants stepped forward to greet them.
Tammy Tang took out a name card and handed it over. "This is my friend, Joe Di."
One of the attendants announced loudly, "Welcome, Saint Emperor Xitan of the Phoenix Clan, and Saint Emperor Joe Di, to Thousand Bamboo Sanctuary…"
Rich divine energy surged forth, and Joe Di couldn’t help but relax. This divine energy was different from what he’d forcibly drawn from Dao veins—while perhaps not as effective for cultivation, it was certainly more suitable for living.
"Your name is Joe Di?" came a sudden voice, as a square-faced man strode forward—just one step brought him right before Joe Di and Tammy Tang.
He had a square face and triangular eyes, dressed in purple, but was only a half-step Genesis Realm Saint Emperor. Joe Di was sure he’d never met this man before. The two people behind him, however, were full Genesis Realm Saint Emperors—one even at mid-stage.
"That’s right, I’m Joe Di. What do you want?" Joe Di said coolly. A mere half-step Genesis Realm cultivator wasn’t worth his attention.
(That's all for today's update. Good night, friends!)
