My Sister Has No Hope
Grace glanced at him and said, "She told me that someday, she’ll marry Evan Xiao too."
I told her that's never going to happen—Evan Xiao is only going to marry me.
Then she said I was reaching way above my league and should take a good look at myself and my lowly background.
I asked her if she’d ever looked in the mirror herself, and she tried to hit me. I lost my temper and kicked her...
After finishing, Grace looked apologetically at Shannon. "Sorry, Shannon, I just... reacted on impulse..."
Shannon glanced at Bianca Whiteshire, raised an eyebrow, but said nothing.
"General! Look at her! Just because she’s stronger than me, she actually kicked me!" Bianca Whiteshire cried to Evan Xiao.
"Weren’t you the one who started it?" Evan Xiao asked. "You knew you couldn’t beat her and still picked a fight—weren’t you just begging to get kicked?"
"I just wanted to teach her a lesson for you! She’s so shameless, actually dreaming of marrying you! And saying you’d only marry her!" Bianca Whiteshire gritted her teeth.
"Leon Zane." Evan Xiao didn’t respond to her, but called out to Leon.
Leon Zane’s scalp tingled. He asked, "What’s up?"
"Send her home within three days."
"Huh? What does that have to do with me? I didn’t invite her! If you want her gone, just tell her yourself. Why drag me into it?"
"You’re her cousin."
"So what if I’m her cousin? She’s got her own legs, I can’t control where she goes!" Leon Zane grumbled. "Besides, she came to see you, not me!"
"Two days!" Evan Xiao shot him a look. "If she doesn’t leave, you leave!"
Leon Zane: "..."
"General!" Bianca Whiteshire looked at him sadly. "Why do I have to go? Shannon gets to stay, so why can’t I?"
"I’ve got things to do." Evan Xiao cut her off. "I won’t be seeing you out."
"Are you kicking me out because of her?" Bianca Whiteshire pointed at Grace. "What’s so special about her? She’s not worthy of you at all!"
"One day." Evan Xiao looked at Leon Zane.
Leon muttered a curse and dragged Bianca Whiteshire outside.
"Let go of me!" Bianca Whiteshire struggled. "I’m not leaving! You’ll have to kill me first!"
Shannon glanced at Grace, hesitated, then followed them out.
Once outside Frostmoon Quarters, only Leon was left, looking utterly helpless.
"Where is she?" Shannon asked.
"She ran out crying."
"Let’s go!"
The two of them walked out together, and as they walked, Leon kept sighing.
"Cousin, are you worried about how to send her home?" Shannon asked. "If gentle persuasion doesn’t work, just use force! Once you get her back, explain everything to my father—he’ll keep an eye on her."
"That’s not what I’m worried about."
"Then why are you sighing?"
"I just feel... my sister Raina has no hope left."
Shannon: "..."
"Why is Grace so shameless? She wiped the Crown Prince’s sweat in front of everyone!"
Shannon smiled faintly. "Heh."
And the Crown Prince just loves it! Did you see his face? He was grinning like an idiot..." Leon felt so stifled.
"Because the Crown Prince likes Grace!" Shannon said. "He even gave her his reverse scale. Honestly, you should just give up!"
Leon Zane smacked his lips in annoyance.
His sister, Raina Zane, liked the Crown Prince.
She’d always been a top contender for Crown Princess.
Honestly, the greatest honor of the Zane Dragon Clan rested on Raina’s shoulders.
