The disaster at Golden Heaven Temple ended with the intervention of the Nether Sky Realm. At this moment, aside from the Heaven-Shaker Tower standing firm, everything else in the Nether Sky Realm had already been destroyed. Even those not present at Golden Heaven Temple, seeing such devastation, hid in the shadows and etched the scene into their memories.
Although Boss Nether led his forces to destroy Golden Heaven Temple, they failed to obtain any so-called divine artifacts—not a single benefit was gained. Instead, they only earned the hatred of others. Furious, he led his hundreds of thousands of troops away from this world-realm.
The mortals in this world-realm, along with the Golden Heaven Temple survivors hiding in the shadows, felt nothing but grief at seeing their temple in ruins. With the guidance of kind-hearted cultivators, they began the work of rebuilding.
Ethan Xiao, who had already left, had no idea what state Golden Heaven Temple was in now. Still, he knew it couldn't be good—especially after seeing so many Nether Sky Realm opportunists looting on his way out.
After drifting along the Chaos Current for a long time, he finally arrived at a place shrouded in mist—the Shattered Stream. From the outside, nothing could be seen within, and the Shattered Stream was a naturally formed broken-space zone.
Even though Ethan Xiao had long since half-detached from the Human Dao, he didn't dare venture into the Shattered Stream alone. The dangers lurking inside were immense—one misstep and he could lose his life. So, he stood at the edge, holding what looked like a horn. Speaking into it, he said, 'Seniors of Golden Heaven Temple, our sect faces its greatest crisis. The divine artifacts have been seized, and the Nether Sky Realm has come to harass us. I beg you, please come forth to uphold justice.'
After speaking, the horn transformed into a beam of light and shot into the misty depths of the Shattered Stream.
'I hope this Message Horn Talisman can successfully deliver my message to the seniors,' Ethan Xiao muttered to himself.
The Message Horn Talisman was a type of talisman that could send spoken words to a designated destination. It worked much like a Transmission Stone, but the horn was one-way and could transmit messages over vast distances.
Having sent his message, Ethan Xiao found a secluded spot, closed his eyes, and began to heal his injuries.
As for Evan Yang and the others, they had already left the Golden Heaven Temple’s territory and returned to Elena Dreamer’s homeland. There, Evan recounted everything that had happened inside the Heaven-Shaker Tower.
"I obtained these three divine artifacts, but I don’t know which one you need," Evan Yang said. He remembered that Elena Dreamer had gone to Golden Heaven Temple with a purpose, though he didn’t know exactly what for or which artifact she sought, so he took them out proactively.
The three divine artifacts before them weren’t weapons or defensive items. One was a stone disk, about the size of a palm; another was a cube radiating purple light; and the last looked like a seed, though it didn’t resemble any ordinary seed and showed no signs of life.
Seeing the three artifacts, Elena Dreamer’s face lit up with excitement. Pointing at the seed, she said, "I finally found it—this is the one."
Evan Yang, curious about Elena Dreamer’s reaction, asked, "What is this?"
"This is the Source of Life," Elena Dreamer replied with a smile.
"Source of Life?" Evan Yang asked, puzzled.
"Yes. I plan to create my own world, but I lack wood-element cultivation. Normally, I’d need a powerful wood-element ally to help me build a world with true life force. Now that I have the Source of Life, I no longer need that, because it can do what the wood element can," Elena Dreamer explained.
Hearing this, Evan Yang looked curiously at the seed-like object and said, "So this thing is really that powerful."
"Yes, I truly have to thank you. With it, I can build my own world and create my own people and things," Elena Dreamer said with a smile.
"You’ve already reached the Great God realm, so you really can create your own world. But I’m curious—when creating a world, do you have to choose the Chaos World as its foundation?" Evan Yang knew a bit about world creation, especially since he’d tried it himself before reaching the Great God realm, but without anything to anchor it, his spaces always ended up with many cracks.
"Before a world takes shape, it doesn’t need to be anchored. But once it develops signs of life, it does—because every world needs that special primordial energy from the Chaos World to sustain itself. Otherwise, it won’t last long," Elena Dreamer replied.
Evan Yang understood a bit more and smiled. "So, aside from this artifact, your world doesn’t need anything else to anchor the space? To keep it stable?"
"A world created by someone at the Great God realm doesn’t need anything to anchor it. But what you’re describing is for those below the Great God realm—when they try to form a space, they do need something to keep it stable," Elena Dreamer explained.
Evan Yang laughed, "Good thing you reminded me. I thought all space worlds needed something to support them."
"You’re overthinking it. If every space needed a divine artifact or something to anchor it, the Chaos World would’ve been looted long ago, with all the treasures taken from every pocket space," Elena Dreamer said with a laugh.
"That’s true. How many worlds can one person create?" Evan Yang asked curiously.
"Only one, of course," Elena Dreamer replied.
"You can’t create more than one?" Evan Yang asked, still curious.
"No, it’s never been heard of anyone creating two," Elena Dreamer answered.
Evan Yang understood, then asked, "What about these other two artifacts?"
"I don’t know about the stone disk, but I’ve heard of the cube—it’s probably the legendary Six-Face Mirror. They say it can summon a powerful Six-Face Divine Beast, but that’s just a rumor. No one has ever managed to activate it," Elena Dreamer explained.
Evan Yang grew curious, picked up the cube, examined its six faces, and tried all sorts of attacks—even smashing it—but nothing happened. Elena Dreamer, watching from the side, laughed, "Just give up."
"It really is a mysterious item. Well, I’ll put it away for now—maybe it’ll come in handy someday," Evan Yang said with a smile.

Elena Dreamer nodded, then asked, "What are your plans next?"
"Originally, I wanted to see what the Nether Sky Realm was really like. But after all that’s happened—and now that Ember has grown up—there are things she needs to face herself. So I’m planning to take her back," Evan Yang said, glancing at the always-silent Ember Yang. He knew that ever since she became an adult, she’d been thinking about the previous Fire Phoenix sovereign. Only the Golden Heaven Temple events had distracted her; now, since returning, Ember had become much quieter.
Hearing that Evan Yang and the others were leaving, Elena Dreamer knew it was time to part ways. She smiled and said, "If you ever get the chance, be sure to visit again."
"Yeah, got it. Meeting you as a friend has been my good fortune," Evan Yang replied with a smile.
"Likewise," Elena Dreamer said with a smile.
Evan Yang smiled, then turned to Ember Yang and said, "Let’s head out."
"Okay," Ember Yang nodded.
Evan Yang left Elena Dreamer’s world-realm and took out the Guiding Sky Disk, infusing it with the aura of the previous Fire Phoenix sovereign—something he had collected earlier, never expecting it would come in handy now.
"Dad, can you really use that to find the way back?" Ember Yang asked curiously.
Back then, Evan Yang had entered other world-realms through a tunnel, then been attacked by the Void Spirit Envoy and sent to Elena Dreamer’s mortal world-realm, before finally leaving the Chaos World. He’d passed through several places along the way, so retracing the route would be difficult. But with the Guiding Sky Disk, it became easy. He smiled and said, "Of course I can."
When the Guiding Sky Disk reacted, Ember Yang was overjoyed. At the same time, Evan Yang summoned the Flame Behemoth, and in the Chaos World, Lynn Lin and Melody Wood were finally allowed out for some fresh air.
"It’s been so long since we came out. Why let us out today?" Lynn Lin asked curiously from atop the Flame Behemoth’s back.
"To go back," Evan Yang replied simply.
"Go back? Where to?" Lynn Lin asked, puzzled.
"To your original world-realm, of course," Evan Yang replied with a smile.
"Huh? Why? Did we run into danger and need to hide out?" Lynn Lin asked in surprise.
"No. It’s for Ember. She’s an adult now, and there are things she needs to face herself, so I’m taking her back," Evan Yang explained.
Lynn Lin understood, then looked at Ember Yang and smiled. "You’ve grown so much in such a short time. I wonder how your mother will react when she sees you."
"Mom will definitely be happy," Ember Yang said with a happy smile. Beside her, Melody Wood remained silent, which was out of character. Only then did Evan Yang notice Melody’s strange behavior and ask, "Miss Melody, what’s wrong?"
"It’s nothing," Melody Wood snapped out of her daze and forced a smile—a smile so odd that Evan Yang felt he was looking at a stranger.
"I thought you weren’t feeling well," Evan Yang said with a smile.
"I’m just not used to all this darkness. Why don’t you let me go back into your artifact?" Melody Wood said with a smile.
Evan Yang didn’t object. He nodded and sent Melody Wood back into his artifact, leaving just the three of them again. Still, Evan Yang couldn’t shake the strange feeling.
"Don’t worry about it. She’s been like this ever since we left last time—silent, barely responding when we talk to her," Lynn Lin said.
"Oh? Really?" Evan Yang frowned at Lynn Lin’s words.
"Dad, do you think Sister Melody is sick? She seems strange—not like her old self at all," Ember Yang asked curiously.
Evan Yang pondered for a moment, then said, "Maybe. You two chat—I’ll check on her and see what’s going on."
Evan Yang closed his eyes, sending his Divine Sense into the Strange Spiral Shell’s Sky-Piercing Tower. There, he saw Melody Wood standing before the Hundred-Beast Diagram Stele, staring at it blankly.
After a while, Melody Wood wandered around inside the Sky-Piercing Tower as if searching for something. Finally, she sat down in one spot and closed her eyes.
"What’s wrong with her, exactly?" Evan Yang wondered aloud, suspicion in his voice.
At this moment, even Melody Wood herself didn’t know what she was doing. She felt constantly dazed—whenever she tried to focus on a task, her mind went blank and she forgot what she was doing.
