Evan and Brocade listened to the spirit's words, closed their eyes, and indeed felt the refreshing spiritual energy all around. Evan opened his eyes and smiled, "Just as expected. I wonder what's here."
"Come on, let's go in and take a look," the spirit said with a smile.
Evan nodded and led Brocade inside. After walking for a while, Brocade stopped and said, "Boss, I think these rocks are a bit special."
Evan knew that Brocade was quite knowledgeable about geology, so he asked, "What's special about them?"
"Try touching them," Brocade said to Evan. Evan put his hand on the stone, and immediately felt a cool sensation. "So that's it. This feeling must be because of these rocks."
The spirit didn't understand and just watched from the side. Evan and Brocade began to extract some stones and study them, discovering that the rocks contained tiny grains—the real source of the effect.
"Boss, it looks like these grains actually do something," Brocade said doubtfully.
Evan nodded, "Yeah, let's see how many we can get. Gather them up first."
So Evan and Brocade started grinding down the cavern rocks and collecting the tiny grains. After half a day, they had gathered a pile about the size of a palm.
They were planning to keep collecting, but a group from the Magus Dragon Clan had already arrived outside. Evan sighed, "Those guys again. Brocade, I'll leave this to you—I'm going out to handle them."
After trapping the Magus Dragons, Evan returned to the waterfall and continued breaking down the stones. Meanwhile, the Magus Dragon Patriarch, upon discovering his men were trapped, roared in fury, "Useless fools!"
Afraid Evan would escape, the Magus Dragon Patriarch wasted no time and instantly flashed away, heading straight for Shifting Mountain.
Seeing his subordinates trapped, the Magus Dragon Patriarch exclaimed in disbelief, "A mere formation has you all locked up like this? You really are something else!"
"Patriarch, this formation is bizarre! We break one, and another appears," one guard complained. The Magus Dragon Patriarch snorted, "It just means your skills aren't up to par. Shameful!"
"If you don't believe us, try it yourself!" a guard said defiantly. The Magus Dragon Patriarch had no choice but to step in personally. He soon realized the formation was indeed strange and snorted, "Watch me."
The Magus Dragon Patriarch unleashed his overwhelming power and directly destroyed the formation, finally freeing the Magus Dragons.
Evan quickly sensed that his formation had been broken. "My formation was actually breached."
"Boss, what's wrong?" Brocade asked curiously.
"Looks like the Magus Dragon Patriarch has arrived," Evan muttered.
Brocade asked suspiciously, "So what do we do now?"
"Don't worry, leave it to me," Evan said after thinking for a moment.
At that moment, the spirit spoke up, "Don't worry, I have a way to trap them."
"Oh? Really?" Evan looked at the spirit with curiosity.
The spirit grinned, "There's a maze under this mountain that's been here for ages. Unless you've lived here for a long time, you can't get out. I can lure them inside."
"You want to lure them? That's too dangerous. How about I carry you, and you just tell me the way?" Evan suggested.
The spirit nodded, "Okay."
Evan nodded, took the spirit, and left. The Magus Dragon Patriarch had already arrived with his army. Upon seeing Evan, he snorted, "Kid, let's see where you run this time."
"Come and get me then," Evan said with a smile.
"Trying to use formations again? Dream on!" the Magus Dragon Patriarch scoffed, leading all the Magus Dragons after Evan. Evan, carrying the spirit, darted through Shifting Mountain until he reached a tomb entrance. The spirit said, "This is it."
Evan nodded and followed the spirit into the entrance.
The Magus Dragon Patriarch arrived and snorted, "Trying to hide? No way! Everyone, go in!"
The Magus Dragons rushed in after him, never suspecting it was Evan's trap. They had no idea they'd be trapped in an underground palace where they couldn't even find the walls' edges.
Evan, carrying the spirit, sprinted ahead. Soon, the Magus Dragons followed into the maze, but once inside, they gradually lost track of Evan. The Magus Dragon Patriarch could sense Evan's location but didn't know how to reach him. Furious, he tried to destroy the place, only to find the underground palace protected by a mysterious force, making it impossible to break.

With the spirit in tow, Evan also noticed the peculiar nature of this place and laughed, "These walls really are strange."
"Yeah, and this maze is even stranger. I'll take you out now and really drive them crazy," the spirit said with a grin.
Evan smiled, "Alright." He followed the spirit and vanished together. When the Magus Dragon Patriarch realized Evan had left, he angrily led his men back the way they came, only to find the original path had disappeared, making them even more furious.
They spun around the maze desperately, unable to find the exit. After leaving, Evan was curious about the underground palace, amazed it could trap Heavenly Dao-level Magus Dragons.
"How long have you known about this underground palace?" Evan asked curiously.
The spirit replied, "A very long time."
Evan asked, still curious, "Can it really trap them?"
The spirit nodded, "Yes. Without me to guide them, they can't get out. The maze below changes every moment."
Hearing this, Evan asked, "Then how do you always know the way out?"
"By feeling! My sense has always been accurate," the spirit said with a laugh. Evan found it even stranger—if the spirit could sense the way out, why couldn't the others?
But there was no time to think about it now. Evan brought the spirit back to Brocade and continued collecting those strange little grains.
Time passed bit by bit. After about three days, the grains were gone. Evan had gathered a pile and smiled, "Let's go."
With the collected materials, Evan left excitedly, while the Magus Dragons remained trapped underground.
"Boss, will they ever get out?" Brocade asked curiously.
"Who knows? Maybe they'll stumble out someday," Evan laughed.
Brocade nodded, "That's good then."
Evan smiled and left. Soon, he arrived at the true dragon clan's territory. When the Patriarch saw Evan and Brocade return safely, he smiled, "How did it go?"
"I didn't let everyone down. I've gathered everything," Evan said, taking out the herbs. The Patriarch smiled, "Thank you, you've really helped me a lot."
Evan asked, puzzled, "What do you need these for, senior?"
"They play a crucial role. Whether Auron can return depends on these," the Patriarch said with a smile. Evan was confused, "Isn't Senior Auron trapped somewhere? What's the connection with these things?"
"Yes, he's trapped in the stone void. These are to inject vitality into his body before he returns. After all, he's been in the stone void for years," the Patriarch explained with a smile.
Evan was very curious about what exactly the stone void was.
"Where is Senior Auron now?" Evan asked. The Patriarch smiled, "He's in a secret chamber. Come, follow me."
The Patriarch led Evan and Brocade to a secret chamber. Inside, Evan saw the statue and greeted it with a smile, "Senior Auron."
"Kid, thank you. I can finally return," the statue said with a smile.
Evan smiled, "You're welcome."
The Patriarch took the herbs in his hand and placed one hand on the statue. The statue slowly regained a human form, but it still needed the herbs—otherwise, it would crumble even after returning to human shape.
Once Auron absorbed all the herbs, he could move freely. The Patriarch smiled, "All done."
A middle-aged man looked at Evan and said, "You really surprised me."
"There's nothing to be surprised about," Evan replied with a smile.
"You know, when I asked you to come here, I thought it would take you years. But you arrived so quickly, and I heard you even took treasures from the Magus Dragon Patriarch," Auron asked curiously.
"Just lucky," Evan said with a smile.
The Patriarch asked curiously, "I heard the Magus Dragons also went to Shifting Mountain. Didn't you run into them?"
"Yeah, but they're currently trapped in a maze in Shifting Mountain," Evan said with a smile.
