Native-Soil Crystal

After listening to Luna, Evan Frost had Tom Frost return to the storage ring, then quickly used teleportation to search the Godfall Battleground for the spot where he had originally left. The battleground was vast; after countless teleports, Evan still couldn’t find his exit point and felt a bit frustrated.

Standing atop a mountain peak and taking in the view, Evan Frost muttered to himself, "Finding the entrance is tougher than I thought. If only there was a smarter way."

"Actually, it’s simple. Why did you put Tom Frost back in the storage ring? Just have him check for energy fluctuations in the area. Compared to your divine sense, his is worlds apart. While Tom Frost can’t cover the whole Godfall Battleground, he should manage about a third. I believe if you let him check one area and then move to another, finding the entrance will be easy." Luna said.

Evan Frost gave a wry smile. "Sorry to put you through this, Tom. I’m sure Jade would be proud of how hard you’re working. Take your time—I’ll be right here."

Evan gave a bitter smile. "Thanks for your trouble, Tom. I’m sure Jade would be happy to see you working so hard. Take your time—I’ll be waiting."

Tom Frost immediately flew into the air, a flash of red light swirling around him as he hovered motionless. Evan waited quietly on the ground. After more than an hour, Tom returned and said, "Big Brother, I checked carefully—there’s no energy fluctuation in this area. I did find plenty of monsters, but they’re all low-level. Didn’t even see one with Venerable Martial strength."

"I’m fine, really. But you should probably head farther out—I’ve already checked tens of thousands of li around here. Let’s hope we have better luck next time!" Tom Frost said.

"I’m fine, but you’d better fly farther away. I already checked tens of thousands of li around here. Hope we find it next time!" Tom Frost said.

Evan looked at the sky, picked a direction, and flew off. This time, he teleported continuously for nearly half an hour before stopping—he’d covered at least a hundred thousand li. He was sure they’d be able to check a new area now.

"No, I trust your divine sense. If there was even the slightest disturbance, you’d have caught it. Maybe the entrance just isn’t in this area. We still have one last place to check, right? Let’s see what happens after that." Evan Frost said.

"No way. I trust your divine sense—if there were any disturbance on the ground, you’d pick it up. Maybe the entrance just isn’t here. We still have one more area to check, right? Let’s wait until we’ve searched the last region before deciding." Evan Frost said.

"You got it, Big Brother. I’ll give it my all!" Tom Frost replied. This time, he searched slowly, his face set in concentration. Evan Frost couldn’t help but feel tense—if this didn’t work, they’d really be in trouble.

Suddenly, Tom Frost’s face lit up with excitement. He shouted, "Big Brother, I found a spot with energy fluctuations! It’s incredibly faint—if I hadn’t been extra careful, I would’ve missed it. If you hadn’t reminded me, we probably would’ve overlooked it again."

Evan Frost instantly teleported to Tom Frost’s side, asking eagerly, "Tom, where is it?" He was clearly thrilled—his worries vanished in an instant, leaving him exhilarated.

"It’s pretty far—at least ten thousand li away, on a mountainside. Bring me over and I’ll point it out," Tom Frost said, his tone serious.

Evan Frost grabbed Tom Frost and teleported. For him, ten thousand li was just a few breaths. Soon, they landed halfway up a mountain. "Wait a sec, Big Brother—let me double-check that this is the right spot," Tom Frost said.

A moment later, Tom Frost smiled. "No doubt about it—it’s here. Try using your divine sense. The energy is a bit chaotic and hard to pin down, but you should be able to sense the general area."

A moment later, Tom Frost smiled, "No mistake—it’s here. Try sensing with your divine sense. The energy pulse is a bit chaotic and hard to pinpoint, but you can tell the general direction."

Evan Frost slowly expanded his divine sense. He knew he had to clear his mind and focus completely—only then could he pick up the faintest changes.

After a while, Evan Frost realized all he could sense was stone—just stone on the cliff ahead, no sign of any energy pulse. It was frustrating: Tom Frost could sense disturbances from ten thousand li away, but Evan, standing right here, couldn’t pick up anything. Only he truly understood how wide that gap was.

"Evan Frost, try sensing the earth element in this cliff—you might get an unexpected result." Luna reminded him. She paid close attention to Evan Frost’s every move, even when he was with his women, worried he’d get distracted and forget to absorb yin-cold energy, which always left her feeling miserable and wishing she could be the woman under him, letting him torment her to his heart’s content…

Sensing the earth element was a breeze for Evan Frost. He quickly attuned to the soil within the cliff’s stone, then used that element to search for energy pulses. Sure enough, he soon detected a powerful earth-element surge deep inside the cliff—pulsing and vibrant. The discovery left him puzzled.

"What’s going on here? This doesn’t feel like the entrance to the Azure Tide Ruins—it’s more like the pulse from some heavenly treasure. The treasure’s aura is packed with earth element. Could there be something like the Glassfire Crystal hidden here?" Evan Frost asked Luna, astonished.

"Exactly, you’ve got it. I’m sure this is a Native-Soil Crystal—so rare, even in the Immortal Realm, it’s hard to find. Once you obtain it, the entrance between the Godfall Battleground and the Azure Tide Ruins will appear. Someone used this Native-Soil Crystal to seal the entrance. Venerable Solus probably managed to build a teleportation gate here thanks to it. As for the details, I’m not sure—he’s dead now anyway," Luna said.

Evan Frost was so ecstatic he almost shouted—not only had he slain Venerable Solus, now he could claim a Native-Soil Crystal. With it, his Earthshift would advance even further; maybe he’d soon be able to conjure a mountain in an instant and crush his enemies beneath it…
