The next moment, Tyler Huang scrambled to kowtow before Aoki Wolf, his voice trembling with desperation. "Chief, I'm loyal to you! Please don't listen to his slander!"
Aoki Wolf's eyes glinted with a cruel amusement as he stared down at Tyler. "If you're really so loyal, are you willing to die for me?"
"Uh—"
Tyler Huang froze, his face stiffening in panic.
"Hmph. You dare lie to me? You deserve to die!"
As soon as Aoki finished speaking, a flash of blade light shot out like lightning. With a sickening thud, Tyler Huang was sliced cleanly in half.
Watching this ruthless display, Ethan Changsun felt a chill run down his spine. He couldn't help but look at Ian Song with growing fear—if Ian ever joined Silver Wolf Stronghold, would he hold a grudge over being forced to give up his fortune and take revenge on them all?
Aoki Wolf sheathed his immortal blade and turned his gaze to Ian Song. "Well? I've killed that brat just as you asked. Isn't it time for you to kneel and call me chief?"
Ian Song just smiled. "If I join your stronghold, what position do I get?"
Aoki Wolf narrowed his eyes, a dangerous glint flashing. "If you've got the skills, I'll let you take the fifth seat in Silver Wolf Stronghold! But if you're just all talk, you'll be a corpse under my blade!"
"If you want to see whether I've really got the skills, why not have someone test me?" Ian Song said confidently.
Aoki Wolf's interest was piqued. "Oh? How do you want to test it?"
"The array I set up can trap even ordinary Earth Immortals!" Ian declared proudly.
Felix Duanmu sneered, not hiding his contempt. "Heh! You sure know how to brag. I'll test your array myself, and if it can't hold me, I'll cut you down!"
Ian shot back, "If my array can't hold you, I won't need you to kill me—I'll do it myself!"
Felix Duanmu snorted coldly, "I'll be waiting for you to kill yourself!"
Ian Song smiled, pulled out several formation disks, and with a flick of his wrist, sent them flying to the four corners. His hands danced through a flurry of seals, and a grand array rose up, shining with seven-colored light.
"Please," Ian invited, gesturing toward the array.
Ian addressed Felix Duanmu directly.
"What kind of crappy array is this? Watch me break it!" Felix barked.
As soon as he finished speaking, Felix Duanmu leapt into the array. Swinging his long blade, he unleashed a blade light dozens of zhang long, roaring, "Break!"
But the array only flashed with a faint light and instantly dissolved the powerful blade strike.
Aoki Wolf watched, a playful smile curling his lips. "Interesting!"
Felix kept attacking like mad inside the array, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't shake it in the slightest.
Aoki Wolf couldn't help showing a hint of shock, while Ethan Changsun was filled with bitter regret. If he'd known Ian Song's array skills were this terrifying, he never would've dared offend him.
Too bad it's way too late for regrets now.
In the blink of an eye, a quarter of an hour passed, and Felix Duanmu was clearly running out of steam from his frenzied assault inside the array.
Ian Song turned to Tyrone Beiming, the third chief. "Why not have this chief join the array too? Let's see if the two of you together can break it!"
"Big Brother!" Tyrone called out.
Tyrone Beiming didn't agree right away—he looked over at Aoki Wolf, waiting for his signal.
"Go ahead!" Aoki Wolf said.
Aoki Wolf nodded, confident that as long as he was there, Ian couldn't pull any tricks. He trusted his own strength completely.
"Alright!" Tyrone Beiming replied.
With Aoki Wolf's approval, Tyrone Beiming flew into the array as well.
But the result left everyone stunned—even with two chiefs working together, they couldn't shake the array at all.
"Why not have the chief try going in too?"
Ian Song looked straight at Aoki Wolf as he spoke.
Hearing this, Aoki Wolf grew more wary. "No need. You've earned the right to the fifth seat in Silver Wolf Stronghold. Now, take down your array!"
Ian just shook his head. "With my skills, the fifth seat isn't enough!"
Aoki Wolf narrowed his eyes again, a dangerous glint flashing. "Then which seat do you want?"
Ian Song grinned. "If I'm joining, I'm taking the chief's seat. If you're willing to hand it over, maybe I'll consider joining Silver Wolf Stronghold!"
"Are you messing with me?"
Aoki Wolf's face instantly turned dark and murderous intent flashed in his eyes.
Ian just laughed. "Ha! You only just realized I'm messing with you? I almost feel sorry for your IQ!" he mocked.
"You're asking for death!"
Aoki Wolf flew into a rage, his long blade blazing with fury as he slashed down at Ian Song with a sky-shattering blade light.
Bang!
Ian Song threw out a punch, shattering the blade light instantly. In the same breath, he stepped forward, landing a rapid chain of kicks right into Aoki Wolf.
A series of explosive impacts echoed, and a figure was sent flying, crashing hard into the ground—it was Aoki Wolf.
"Chief!" his men cried out.
All five thousand elite bandits stared in disbelief—their mid-stage Earth Immortal chief had actually been defeated.
Ethan Changsun, the village chief, was so stunned he wanted to slap himself a hundred times. What had he done? He'd actually offended someone stronger than a mid-stage Earth Immortal!
The villagers of Giantwild were just as dumbstruck. Those who'd forced Ian Song to hand over his immortal stones now looked especially panicked and uneasy.
Pfft!
Aoki Wolf struggled to his feet, coughing up blood. He glared at Ian Song with venomous hatred. "Who the hell are you?"
"Does a dead man really need to know that much?"
Ian Song just smiled indifferently.
"Bastard!" Aoki Wolf roared. "All of you, attack! Kill this brat!"
At once, all five thousand elite bandits charged forward, urging their immortal steeds straight at Ian Song.
"Bring it on!" Ian Song shouted, ready for the challenge.
Seeing the crowd of bandits charging at him, Ian Song didn’t show the slightest hint of fear. On the contrary, he looked downright excited. He stepped forward, formed a fist seal, and unleashed a devastating punch.
"Boom!"
The shadow of his fist crashed down like a mountain. In an instant, the bodies of more than five hundred elite bandits exploded into clouds of blood mist.
"Holy crap! He wiped out over five hundred late-stage Human Immortals with a single punch! That’s insane!"
For a moment, everyone who witnessed this scene was left utterly dumbfounded, mouths agape and unable to close.
"Next!"
Ian stepped forward again, his hands rapidly forming seals, then struck out with another attack.
"Wong!"
A sound like a massive bronze bell rang out, reverberating straight into the soul. In the blink of an eye, more than five hundred bandits collapsed unconscious. With a casual wave of his hand, Ian made all five hundred plus bandits vanish from the spot.
Just two strikes: one killed over five hundred, the other made another five hundred vanish.
The remaining elite bandits were scared out of their wits. The next moment, they all turned their horses and fled in the opposite direction. Aoki Wolf tried to blend in with the crowd, hoping to escape in the chaos!
"Not so fast!"
Ian soared into the air, flying overhead. In the sky, he slammed his right hand downward, and within a ten-meter radius, all the bandits instantly exploded into blood mist—except Aoki Wolf, who barely managed to hold on.
"Don’t kill me! I’m one of Nine-Sun Sword Immortal’s people! If you kill me, Nine-Sun Sword Immortal will never let you go!"
Aoki Wolf shouted frantically.
"So what if you are?"
Ian just sneered, threw another punch, and Aoki’s body exploded. With a casual grab, several Masterwork Storage Rings flew into his hand.
