Battle Against a Group of Prime Realm Cultivators

12/19/2025

Seeing that Joe Di actually dared to strike at him with a blade, the mid-Prime Realm man let out a cold sneer. Just a mere Genesis Realm cultivator...

But just as this thought crossed his mind, his expression changed instantly—he realized he couldn't break free from the force of Joe Di's blade.

"Splurt!" Blood burst forth as the mid-Prime Realm man was cleaved in two by Joe Di's blade, his soul unable to escape.

Everyone nearby was stunned. Was this newcomer really just a Genesis Realm cultivator?

Even more stupefied was Elder Paul, the thin, long-eared leader. He stared blankly at the mid-Prime Realm expert slain by Joe Di's single stroke, utterly horrified.

He had clearly locked Joe Di down with his domain, yet when Joe Di swung his blade, his domain seemed as fragile as an eggshell.

Even though he had held back, thinking Joe Di was just a Genesis Realm cultivator and only used half his domain's strength, Joe Di ignored his domain and killed a mid-Prime Realm expert in one stroke. That Prime Realm cultivator couldn't even resist—what did that mean?

"You're not Genesis Realm..." Elder Paul finally snapped out of his shock, coldly glaring at Joe Di as he unleashed his full domain strength, locking down the entire space.

Joe Di replied coolly, "Whether I'm Genesis Realm or not, what does that matter to you? I came here just to ask a question, but you act like you're collecting protection fees, gathering a bunch of thugs to block me."

Fortunately, Elder Paul didn't know what "thugs" meant, or he might have been so enraged by Joe Di's words that he'd cough up blood. He had once been a Third Step powerhouse, and now Joe Di was calling him a thug?

Hearing Elder Paul say Joe Di wasn’t Genesis Realm, the other cultivators immediately reacted, surrounding Joe Di in the center. All of them drew their treasures, staring at Joe Di with deadly intent.

"No, he is Genesis Realm. He’s one of those Dominic Du types." Another voice rang out, and a short male cultivator in the crowd suddenly grew taller than Joe Di.

"Fa Grant, you’re saying he’s..." Elder Paul reflexively took a step back at these words. The thousand cultivators around them also showed fear in their eyes and unconsciously retreated.

Joe Di wondered to himself, who is this Dominic Du? Why are they so terrified? He had already noticed Fa Grant, who could change his height. Nearly two thousand cultivators had arrived, and Fa Grant was the second to surpass the Prime Realm.

Joe Di had encountered a Third Step cultivator before—Ethan North. But at that time, Ethan North’s strength had been all but depleted, leaving little impression on Joe Di.

Both Fa Grant and Elder Paul had surpassed the Prime Realm, but Joe Di wasn’t sure if they were truly Third Step. He guessed they probably weren’t, otherwise things wouldn’t be this easy for him.

While Joe Di was still pondering their true strength, Fa Grant suddenly shouted, "Don’t worry, everyone! Though he’s a Dominic Du type, he really is just Genesis Realm. If we all attack together, we can take him down. Attack!"

As Fa Grant uttered the word "attack," his violent domain crashed down on Joe Di, and a jet-black spear struck at Joe Di’s domain.

Elder Paul and Fa Grant had clearly teamed up before; as Fa Grant attacked, Elder Paul’s domain stacked on top.

Joe Di instantly felt an intense oppression. With the combined pressure of two cultivators surpassing the Prime Realm, his own domain couldn’t withstand the jet-black spear, which tore it apart.

Boom! The Azure Veil Blade blocked the jet-black spear, and the explosion of divine energy sent ripples through the spatial domain.

Splurt! Joe Di spat out a stream of blood. Before he could activate the Azure Veil Blade again, the thousand-plus Prime Realm experts immediately understood—Joe Di wasn’t as formidable as they’d feared.

In that instant, over a thousand treasures blasted toward Joe Di, leaving his domain unable to even extend.

With more than a thousand treasures and Prime Realm cultivators’ domains stacked together, while it wasn’t a simple sum of their power, it was enough to completely crush Joe Di’s domain.

Joe Di spat blood again and let out a long howl. With a sweep of his hands, tens of thousands of blades surged out from the Ninth World, instantly forming the prototype of a blade array.

Before the blade array could fully form, countless treasures smashed into Joe Di.

Elder Paul breathed a sigh of relief. Earlier, when Joe Di had easily broken his domain and killed a mid-Prime Realm cultivator with a single stroke, he’d been stunned, thinking Joe Di was an unrivaled powerhouse. Now, seeing Joe Di suppressed and battered by so many treasures...

No matter how strong Joe Di’s blade array was, after this round of bombardment, he probably wouldn’t survive. Even if he did, could he still use the blade array?

Heh, compared to battle-hardened experts like them, this youngster from outside was nothing but a clueless lamb.

Splurt, splurt, splurt! Blood erupted from Joe Di’s body in streams.

What shocked the many experts attacking Joe Di was that he seemed completely unaffected. How could this be? With one or two thousand Prime Realm experts’ treasures blasting him, even a Sacred Physique should be reduced to dust.

The attacks of cultivators differ entirely from blows taken during body refinement—each strike carries its own Dao resonance, a unique divine power, a distinct law of heaven and earth. So many powers hitting any cultivator should have blasted them to pieces.

"No, his body refinement surpasses the Sacred Physique..." a horrified voice cried out from the crowd.

Sure enough, after Joe Di swallowed something, it was as if nothing had happened. Though the simultaneous attacks from thousands of Prime Realm cultivators had wounded him—and not lightly—he somehow consumed a mysterious pill and his injuries vanished.

If that were all, they could just keep attacking—so long as they suppressed Joe Di’s domain, they’d eventually kill him.

But in that brief moment, Joe Di’s blade array had already taken shape. Curtains of blades surged toward the crowd like raging waves, with Joe Di at the center, his hands weaving complex seals.

Splurt, splurt, splurt! Blood erupted in the crowd, like waves rising from a sea of blood beneath a hurricane.

"This is the Void Rend Slaughter Array! He’s a Ninth-Rank Formation Sovereign..." Fa Grant roared, tossing down an array banner.

Clearly, he was also a Ninth-Rank Formation Sovereign.

When the crowd heard Joe Di was a Ninth-Rank Formation Sovereign and had unleashed a ninth-rank Void Rend Slaughter Array, some of the Prime Realm cultivators on the outskirts began to retreat in panic.

Elder Paul’s face turned deathly pale. It was the first time he’d seen such a formidable Genesis Realm cultivator. This was no less impressive than Dominic Du in his Genesis days.

He knew he had to stop the retreating cultivators—otherwise, he and Fa Grant would stand no chance against Joe Di. Unless they called back the Lost Dao City’s Third Step lord, but he’d gone to chase after that woman and wouldn’t return anytime soon.

"Don’t worry, everyone! Fa is also a Ninth-Rank Formation Sovereign, he’ll suppress..." Elder Paul’s words abruptly cut off as he saw Fa’s face go pale and watched him frantically retreat from the blade array.

Even an idiot could tell Fa Grant’s array banner hadn’t suppressed Joe Di’s blade array. Elder Paul was horrified and also retreated in a frenzy.

More waves of blood exploded, and the remaining Prime Realm cultivators no longer dared to attack Joe Di—all of them retreated in panic.

Joe Di took a deep breath and withdrew his blade array, not pursuing further. This round had killed hundreds of Prime Realm experts—his absolute limit. Without the Cosmic Essence and a body beyond Sacred Physique, if these people kept attacking, his only options would be escape or death.

Calming his empty sea of consciousness and star-vein network, Joe Di swept his gaze over the retreating cultivators.
