Horse Taming, Teaching a Lesson to Anyone Who Bullies Me

"Your Majesty, Yara has a suggestion—may I speak openly?" As the princess of Lyndaria, Princess Yara was not afraid of the Eastlyn Emperor in the slightest. She met his gaze with dignified composure.

"Princess Yara, what is your suggestion?" Su Wan asked with curiosity. Their back-and-forth was so smooth it seemed rehearsed. Everyone present was an expert in court intrigue—no performance, however polished, could fool them.

Nolan Dongling, the Ninth Royal Uncle, remained indifferent. Prince Adrian Dongling looked pained, while Prince Rowan Dongling and Dominic Zhai didn’t even bother to raise their heads, their chins lifted in open disdain toward the two women.

Scheming, fake women were the worst. They’d clearly set up Serena Feng ahead of time, yet still put on a show—pretending to care about Eastlyn’s honor, pretending to admire Serena, all just to make the Emperor hate her. Their act of ‘concern’ was nothing but a trap.

Truly shameless. No man here would ever marry such women—bringing one home would guarantee chaos in the family’s inner court.

Princess Yara smiled faintly, saying nothing until the Emperor signaled for her to speak. She then said, "Your Majesty, we agreed with Princess Serenity that the third event would be horse-taming. Since Doctor Feng did not participate in the first two rounds, let her tame Lyndaria’s Bloodsweat Charger and Southern Lyn’s Blackcloud Stallion in the third. As for me and Miss Su Wan, we will handle your empire’s Whitespring Highlander."

On the surface, the proposal sounded fair. But...

The Bloodsweat Charger and the Blackcloud Stallion were famous across the Nine Provinces Continent for their ferocity. Even if the Eastlyn Emperor refused to admit it, everyone knew that Eastlyn’s Whitespring Highlander couldn’t compare to those two beasts.

Forget Serena Feng—a so-called ‘weak woman.’ Even the imperial horse-trainers would struggle to tame either the Blackcloud Stallion or the Bloodsweat Charger. To expect her to tame both in a single day? That was pure sabotage.

The Emperor fell silent, deep in thought. Princess Yara’s so-called ‘suggestion’ was entirely self-serving. But if the Emperor refused, it would be even more humiliating than losing; rejecting the challenge would make Eastlyn look cowardly.
