Void Coordinates Part Two

12/7/2025

If you want to go somewhere but have no idea where it is, and you don’t have a map or GPS, how do you get there?

The answer’s super simple—just do what Jill Young always does: find someone who’s been there and have them lead the way.

Sure, the Heart of Tiberius is in some alternate dimension, but since the Zade Family once ran a lab there and stationed a bunch of researchers, there’s gotta be a way in and out. It’s pretty obvious, really. That’s why Jill went to see the old priest and the veteran driver—same logic.

But because the Heart of Tiberius is so unique, hardly anyone actually remembers how to get there. Even Donald Zade, the golden boy, can’t give a straight answer. Maybe only the true bigwigs in the Zade Family know, but the problem is, those top dogs are all super mysterious and impossible to track down.

Normally, this would be a dead end—otherwise, nobody would be racking their brains searching for clues in old files. But as the saying goes, 'The Way gives fifty, Heaven evolves forty-nine,' there’s always a sliver of hope. And that hope is Susan Morrow.

Susan Morrow can remember Project X, which proves her twin effect with Susan Soo is seriously strong. When you hit a dead end, just hand her the files—maybe she’ll recall something and open up a new path.

Of course, Jill Young already thought of this. Twin effect, shared memories—she’s basically the biggest bug in the system, so no way she’d miss it. But last time, her mom only remembered a single word and nearly passed out from exhaustion. No way Jill’s letting her mom take that risk again.

Memory triggers can’t be measured or controlled. If just a little comes up, fine, but if her aunt’s memories flood in all at once, it’s basically the same as using the Memory Recall Technique—and the burden is exactly the same.

Jonathan Black can handle that kind of 'burdensome recall,' but that doesn’t mean Mom can. Jonathan’s got a body built like a dragon-elephant, his vitality never runs out, and his brain’s not about to fry. But Mom’s just an ordinary person—mind and body, totally normal.

As for protecting Mom, Jill Young’s a martial artist, not an arcanist. Her mental power is all about fighting, not support or defense. She can pitch in, sure, but soloing the job? No way. And even though Big Bro is a pro, his mental strength is way too shallow to guarantee safety. So Jill would rather risk it herself with her 'Emotion Severance Technique' than let Mom face danger.

But hey, now that Dream Monroe’s on board, everything’s gonna be fine!

So what are we waiting for? Time to grab the phone and dial the number at the bottom of the screen—uh, no, call Bobby Brooks instead! Ring ring, it’s through. Hey Bobby, send a private jet, stat! Her Majesty is off to pay respects to the Empress Dowager—okay, done!

You know what they say—good things put you in a good mood. Jill Young shakes off her gloom, perks right up, and even her depleted mental energy feels instantly recharged. She’s not just happy because she found a solution, but also because her sweet little girlfriend finally agreed to help. When you and your honey team up, nothing can stop you! Fighting side by side with your sweetheart to tackle tough problems—now that’s the good stuff!

Jill grabs Dream Monroe’s hand, takes a big step, and swings their hands high as she strides forward, totally pumped.

Hey-hiya, eeya, hey-hiya eeya—see injustice, shout out loud, charge through the world like a whirlwind! Who cares about being second best, about those so-called 'Divine,' about all those pretentious jerks and schemers? With our mixed doubles—uh, all-girls doubles? Anyway, with our duo, we’re gonna sweep the world together!

"Hold up, hold up! I won’t stand by and let Auntie get hurt, but we need to lay down some ground rules first." Seeing Jill Young’s spirits sky-high, Dream Monroe quickly grabs her before she does anything wild. "Let me be clear: I won’t budge on the whole 'Severing Mortal Bonds' thing. I can protect Auntie, but I absolutely won’t get involved in any decisions or fights after that. I’ll be a witness, an observer, but never a participant—and you can’t drag me into it, got it?"

"Huh?" Jill Young’s excitement drops to half-mast—so our all-girls doubles team is dead before it starts? Can’t you just play along like Joan does? Oh well, now’s not the time to fuss. Jill nods hard: "Alright, deal."

Dream Monroe eyes Jill Young warily: "That was quick! You’d better not go back on your word!"

Jill Young answers loud and proud: "A queen never jokes—my word is my bond! If I say I won’t mess things up, I won’t!" But just because she’s not causing trouble doesn’t mean she won’t find another way. No way she’s backing down on this whole 'Severing Mortal Bonds' thing—ha!

Three hours later, Jill Young’s helicopter lands back on the Eternal Night Holdings Group’s island residence. No matter how loud the rotors, she sleeps like a log—happy as can be. The moment the plane touches down, she pops awake, totally refreshed. Three hours of deep sleep and innate energy flow, and her mental power is back in business. All the fatigue is gone—she’s sparkling with life again.

It’s four in the morning—the darkest hour before dawn—and Jill Young’s eyes are practically glowing. Next up, she and Dream Monroe are teaming up to help Mom fight a tough battle. Forget those split personalities like Big Dream and Big Meng; as a true veteran twin, her guidance is exactly what Mom needs.

Mom’s already prepped and ready.

John Yang and Susan Morrow, husband and wife, sit quietly in the living room, holding hands tightly. Security staff stand nearby, creating a tense, solemn scene. Kathy Yang and Yang Shujun aren’t present—this kind of showdown isn’t for them, and even Glasses Girl doesn’t know what’s up tonight. Only Charlie, fully armed, stands off to the side like a lone sentinel.

Jill Young and Dream Monroe stride in together, side by side.

"Be careful." John Yang squeezes his wife’s hand, saying everything with those two words.

"Don’t worry, Dad! I’ve got this!" Jill Young’s words are firm and sharp, her eyes shining like sparks flying off a steel anvil.

In a battle of minds, sharp spirit and bold courage matter more than perfect prep or endless planning. Plus, saints have their own intuition, so Jill Young doesn’t wait to be fully rested; she dives in, ready to slice through any obstacle. Like a general leading her troops, her fearless attitude rubs off on Mom, who nods firmly: "Let’s do this."

The battleground isn’t anywhere fancy—just a quiet, comfy study. There’s a chaise lounge, so Jill Young helps Mom find a good spot to lie down. Then she and Dream Monroe exchange glances, nod, and—go!

Whoosh—starlight flares as Dream Monroe spreads her wings of light. She forms hand seals, and beams of starlight shoot from each feather, weaving a cocoon in the air around the trio. Her Celestial Palace Battle Robe billows without wind, her long black hair flies, and her divine aura is seriously epic.

Jill Young keeps it simple—she sits by Mom’s side, her voice calm and steady: "Mom, you don’t need to do anything. Just relax and follow my lead."

Mom nods: "What should I do? Do I need to start looking at those files?"

"Nope. Suddenly picking up someone else’s memories sounds like getting possessed, but honestly, it’s not that mysterious. You just get used to it—I’m totally used to it, and it’s no big deal. It’s kind of like exercise, just a different kind of brain workout. You need to warm up and get familiar, then it gets easier." Jill Young guides her gently: "Come on, Mom, let’s do a warm-up. Try remembering some simple, pure moments with Aunt Joan. Those shared memories are way easier to handle."

"Okay." Susan Morrow closes her eyes, takes a deep breath, then opens them again and hesitates: "If I remember something, can you two see it too?"

I mean, everyone’s got a mischievous streak. As a mom, if every little thing you ever did gets broadcast to your kids, that’s just embarrassing.

Jill Young and Dream Monroe exchange awkward glances. Jill slaps Mom’s shoulder, gives a thumbs-up, and grins with a sparkle in her teeth: "Don’t worry, we’re not snitches. Even if you had a secret boyfriend or a teenage fling, just slip us some hush money and we won’t tell Dad~~"

"Oh, please! I never had any of that nonsense!" Susan Soo huffs and swats Jill Young on the head, but the teasing helps her relax. Susan Soo’s tough and decisive, not one for girlish hesitation. At this point, she’s all in: "Let you see, then see! I’ve got nothing to hide. Might as well show you what living a squeaky-clean life looks like."

"Don’t worry, Auntie. What we see isn’t your memories—it’s Aunt Joan’s memories." Dream Monroe steps up, gently takes Susan Morrow’s hand: "We’ll face it together, bear witness to Aunt Joan’s legendary life."

"One last thing," Jill Young says seriously before they begin, "In the maze of memories, always remember—never forget who you really are."
