Two Husbands Compete for Favor

Seeing this, Lucian Vane smiled faintly, then suddenly stepped forward and pulled Shen Bingxin into his arms. His cool, seductive lips pressed against her rosy ones, kissing her fiercely.

"Xin'er, how could you treat me like this..." He cupped Shen Bingxin's cheek with one hand, then reached behind her head with the other, swiftly and gently removing the hairpin that held up her hair. Instantly, her long, jet-black hair cascaded down like a waterfall—so beautiful it was hard to breathe.

He lifted his hand, softly stroking Shen Bingxin's face, studying her closely. Three months of longing had left him sleepless and tormented, and now, looking at this clever, mischievous girl before him, Lucian's heart was instantly overflowing with love. But how could she still be so carefree after leaving him?

Without another word, Lucian bent down and kissed Shen Bingxin hard on the lips—part punishment, part longing!

At first, he only meant to give her a gentle kiss to express his longing. But once he tasted her lips, he realized he wanted much more. Dissatisfied, his sly tongue slipped in, prying open her teeth and boldly invading her mouth, greedily tasting every soft part of her...

Lucian's kisses were domineering yet gentle, exploring every soft place with meticulous care.

Faced with such a kiss, Shen Bingxin could only stare wide-eyed in shock. Lucian—how did he get here? And how did he get so much thinner, so much more worn out?!

"No spacing out." A soft reminder in her ear snapped Shen Bingxin back to her senses.

Off to the side, Adrian Night watched the sudden display, his expression complicated as he stared at them, hands unconsciously clenching tight.

She... She really is Ivy Shen! But how did she change so much?!

A whole drama of emotions—complicated, confused, and totally lost—flashed across his face like a TikTok filter.

But literally one second later, his heart was so full he could burst—like, wasn't this EXACTLY the ending he'd been praying for?

Back then, his feelings for her were a total mess, but after half a month stuck together, he was officially whipped. How could she be so cheeky? So sharp? Who gave her the right to be this quirky and cute and make him fall for her every single second?!

Honestly, nobody knew how much he’d been overthinking and suffering this whole half month. One part of him was stuck on those blurry old feelings, but the other half was totally hooked on this girl. He was low-key terrified—like, what if she wasn’t really her? How was he supposed to deal?!

But right now, he felt like the universe was actually doing him a solid—she really WAS her, the one who’d been messing with his heartbeat since day one!

He was so lost in his feels, a warm fuzzy wave hit his heart—tingly, weird, but honestly kind of awesome. He just let himself vibe with it, heart thumping like a drum solo. Boom, mood: ecstatic. She really IS her. No doubt about it.

Of course, that burst of joy lasted, like, three seconds. His face went full thundercloud mode, because now he noticed—some other dude was totally making out with her, looking all blissed out. Instant mood kill.

Adrian glared daggers at the tangled couple, seething. No hesitation—he snatched up his sword and went straight for them. Zero chill.

Lucian, mid-kiss, suddenly felt a killer sword aura coming in hot. He snapped his eyes open, spun Ivy Shen around in his arms, and yeeted them out of the way.

"You?" Lucian finally clocked there was someone else in the room—and it was Adrian Night. Cue the jealous vibes, slowly rising like a bad WiFi signal.

Adrian wasn’t actually trying to off Lucian—dude saved his life once. He just wanted to break up the lovebirds. Mission accomplished, sword sheathed, cold stare: "Long time no see!"

Lucian snorted, then threw an arm around Ivy’s shoulders, leaning down to whisper, "Xin’er, don’t you owe me an explanation?"

"Huh?"

"Obviously, I owe you one too. But first, let’s talk—like, in the bedroom, where the real convos happen." Lucian’s brain: 100% hoping for a bed chat, but Adrian is way too sharp to let that slide. Boom, gatecrasher mode activated.

"What’s your deal?" Lucian was NOT happy. Three months of bottled-up feelings, and he just wanted to pour his heart out, explain everything, and finally promise her forever. But why was this dude here, blocking his romantic moment?!

"You seem to owe me an explanation too, Princess!" Adrian fired back, putting extra spicy emphasis on 'Princess.'

"Wait, how does he know who you are?" Lucian blinked, genuinely shook.

"We literally sleep together every night, how could I NOT know?" Adrian cut in before Ivy could say a word.

And just like that, Lucian’s face cycled through every color—green, purple, black—like a mood ring on overdrive.

"You guys SLEPT together?!" Lucian demanded, voice dripping with rage, jealousy, and major ice.

"Not just sleep—swimming together, too! Except for bathroom breaks, we’re basically glued together 24/7!" Adrian had no clue why he was flexing so hard, but facts were facts: they ate, slept, and hung out side by side, just minus the toilet trips. Still, they kept it super proper, since he couldn’t be 100% sure Ivy was really Ivy.

But honestly, he hadn’t expected this dude to show up and get all handsy right off the bat. The PDA was next-level annoying, so Adrian started plotting ways to mess with him back.

Meanwhile, these two dorks were so busy one-upping each other, they didn’t even realize they were just jealous—of each other. And Ivy, watching the whole circus from the sidelines, was totally lost. She had NO clue her charm had these two top-tier guys drowning in jealousy like a soap opera.

"You... shameless!" Lucian roared, face basically storm-black, and charged Adrian with his sword.

"You showed up and started acting all indecent—who’s really shameless here?" Adrian shot back, sword out, and the two went full anime battle mode.

Neither of them noticed Ivy’s face getting darker by the second—like, hello, her Sky Pavilion Suite was about to get wrecked and she was NOT amused.

"Heh, I'm her husband—how is that shameless?" Lucian retorted, sword still swinging.

"Husband?" Adrian blinked, then cracked up. "I’m her husband too!" Honestly, he sounded like a kid who just scored the last cookie.

"We’ve already done the married-couple thing!" Lucian yelled, loud enough for the whole brothel to hear.
