"Serena, could you tell everyone the exact locations of the four array eyes? That way we can assign who should attack which one more efficiently," Evan said.
Princess Serena Hua shot Evan a look, then said, "The eastern array eye is fifty meters ahead—there’s a single purple flower there. Just attack that purple flower and you’ll hit the array eye."
The western array eye is seventy meters away; there you’ll find a small red flower. If you use your divine sense to check carefully, you’ll notice a faint energy ripple on that red blossom.
The northern array eye is thirty meters away; you’ll see three white flowers there, also with energy fluctuations. If you look closely, you’ll spot them. The southern array eye isn’t a flower but a leaf—easy to recognize, since it looks just like a lotus pad. Just take a good look and you’ll find it.
But let me warn you first: all four array eyes must be attacked at the exact same time. If the timing isn’t synchronized, the Flower–Moon Realm will only get stronger. Also, you can’t attack at night—we have to wait for daylight.
So, for now, just memorize the exact positions of the four array eyes. When the moon is out, the illusion’s defenses go up by ten to twenty percent. I think I’ve explained it clearly, right?"
"Got it. I’m just not sure how much attack power it takes to break an array eye. If it needs God-Realm strength, then we’re out of luck," Evan suddenly blurted.
"This is the Immortal Realm. Even if it was laid down by a God-Venerable’s avatar, it could only use Immortal Spirit Force. So as long as you have late-stage Immortal Emperor strength, you can break it. Don’t worry," Princess Serena Hua replied.
"In that case, I’ll take care of the eastern array eye. Yvonne, you handle the west. Jade, you take the south. Serena, you do the north. Serena Frost and Luna Nangong will help Yvonne and Jade respectively. Is everyone fine with this arrangement? When it’s time, I’ll give a long howl to signal the attack," Evan said.
"No problem—we can do it. Don’t worry!" the women all chimed in together.
Following Evan’s assignments, the six of them flew off toward their designated directions to search for the array eyes. It wasn’t easy—the whole place was a world of flowers, with countless colors everywhere.
Princess Serena Hua had no trouble finding hers; she was the first to locate her array eye and immediately marked the spot. Jade, the Emerald Immortal Empress, was second—her divine sense was even stronger than Evan’s, which made sense.
Evan was the third to finish, and Yvonne was the fourth. Searching for the array eyes among hundreds of flowers took more than an hour, and everyone was left a bit exhausted.
It wasn’t that Princess Serena Hua didn’t want to give everyone the exact locations—she didn’t know them herself. What she’d told everyone was just her best guess based on interpreting the runes. Otherwise, it wouldn’t have taken so much effort.
Once everyone had marked their array eyes, they stood quietly, waiting for daybreak. Evan, meanwhile, was intensely curious about the God-Venerable who set up the Flower–Moon Realm. Why would someone lay such an illusion in Loveless Sword Tomb? Was it really just to leave treasure for future generations? If so, why make it so complicated?
If Princess Serena Hua weren’t here, breaking the Flower–Moon Realm would be impossible. Maybe no one in the entire Immortal Realm could do it. So what was the point of leaving it here? Maybe the creator expected someone from the God Realm to show up one day.
The wait was long, and nobody dared let their guard down. Finally, dawn broke. Evan called out loudly, "Is everyone ready? It’s time to attack the array eyes!"
"Ready!" the women all replied in unison. As soon as Evan gave the order, all four array eyes were struck with powerful attacks.
Evan unleashed Divine Cleave, but only at seventy percent strength. For him, that much power was already equal to the combined attacks of all the women. He worried that using full force might cause side effects.
"Boom!" "Boom!" Several loud explosions echoed through the canyon as all four array eyes were shattered. Instantly, the scenery changed—where there had been a sea of flowers, now jagged rocks stood everywhere. Everything else vanished as if it had never existed.
At the same time, clouds of mist billowed through the air, blocking everyone’s view. After a while, things calmed down, and Evan and the others gathered together to take stock of the dramatic change.
"The Flower–Moon Realm is broken, but the gate to the God-Venerable’s treasure still isn’t open. We’ve only finished part of the job—the real test is coming next," Princess Serena Hua said.
The women glanced at Evan. Yvonne laughed, "This glorious task obviously goes to Linfeng. We just have to watch him perform—with his strength, it should be easy."
"Why me? You all can attack too—how did this become my responsibility alone?" Evan protested, sounding a little put out.
"Because you’re the man—and the strongest one at that! Who else should do the heavy lifting? You expect us beauties to handle it instead? Wouldn’t you feel ashamed?" Serena Frost teased.
Evan was left speechless. He really had no comeback for that. "Where’s the barrier? I’ll go break it right now."
"The barrier is two hundred meters ahead. Use your divine sense and you’ll spot the powerful energy ripple. This isn’t an easy barrier to break—you’ll need to go all out," Princess Serena Hua said.
Without another word, Evan flashed forward to the barrier. He’d seen barriers like this before—the entrance to the Demon Realm had one just as tough. If this one was as strong as that, it wouldn’t be easy to break.
The women quickly joined him at the barrier. Evan said, "You should all stand back—the backlash from breaking this barrier will be fierce. I don’t want any of you getting hurt by accident."
"Just go ahead and attack—we’ll look after ourselves," Yvonne said with a smile.
Luna Nangong, however, retreated several dozen meters. Her strength was no match for Yvonne and the other four women, so if she got hurt, it would be a real headache.
Evan took a deep breath and drew the Azure Frost Divine Sword. He unleashed Divine Cleave, but only at seventy percent power—he wanted to test the barrier’s strength first.
When the sword energy struck the invisible barrier, there was a faint collision sound, then nothing—the attack vanished without a trace. The barrier didn’t budge and there was no backlash at all.
Princess Serena Hua laughed, "I told you, this barrier doesn’t have any backlash. If your attack is strong enough, you’ll break it. If not, you can attack a thousand or ten thousand times and the result will be the same."
Evan shot Princess Serena Hua a look, then summoned Divine Cleave again—this time at full power. He believed that even if he couldn’t break the barrier, he’d at least leave a crack…
