The Flashy Smash of the 2b Youth

"Hehe—tonight's banquet is really something to see!" Shawn Young couldn't help but laugh.

Just as everyone thought the beautiful pianist was about to be moved and accept Damian Shi’s proposal, a scene that stunned the crowd unfolded. The lovely pianist stood up in front of everyone and, politely facing the deeply affectionate Damian Shi, said, "Um—Mr. Shi, your gift is far too extravagant. I can't accept it. Besides, I'm just an ordinary girl, Maggie Chang, and I really don’t deserve your distinguished status! I’m so sorry—I must decline your feelings!"

"Uh—Maggie Chang?! That name sounds so familiar, where have I heard it before?" When Shawn Young heard the beautiful pianist say her name, his heart skipped a beat and he immediately fell into deep thought.

Under the astonished gaze of the crowd, Damian Shi didn’t seem the least bit flustered. Instead, he continued to speak tenderly to Maggie Chang: "Maggie—you are the most precious person in my heart! Status and background mean nothing. I know I surprised you with all this, and since you don’t like such gifts, I’ll just get rid of it!"

With that, Damian Shi hooked the diamond necklace from the bouquet of roses on his hand and smashed it onto the marble floor—"Bang!" The fine metal chain immediately snapped, sending brilliant diamonds scattering all over the ground!

"Wow—" The whole venue erupted in chaos. Everyone gasped in shock, stunned by Damian Shi’s move. Anyone could see the diamond necklace was worth a fortune—at least a million! Damian Shi just smashed it like that. Though the diamonds weren’t really damaged, his move of "smashing a fortune for his beauty" was just way too flashy!

"Holy sh*t, this guy’s insane! He really doesn’t care about money—damn, those are diamonds, not glass! Even a single one could set me up for a good life! Damn—" Alex Easton was the first to yell out.

"Yeah, what a waste—he’s the ultimate 2b youth, this guy’s nuts! Boss, those diamonds are worth a ton, and Damian Shi just tossed them there. Why don’t we pick them up and cash out?" Shawn Young snickered from the side.

"We’re... going to pick up... those diamonds? Isn’t that... kind of embarrassing?" Alex Easton hesitated.

"What’s there to be afraid of! We don’t know these people, and Damian Shi doesn’t want them anyway. We can’t just let them go to waste—each one is worth tens of thousands! Someone’s throwing money for us to pick up, this kind of luck won’t come again! If you’re not going, I’m going! That’s cash on the floor!" Shawn Young said, standing up on the couch.

"Yeah, Third Bro, you’re right—face isn’t worth half as much as cold, hard cash. Hehe—let’s go pick up those diamonds together!" Alex Easton grinned and, not caring about appearances, stood up and followed Shawn Young right to the center of the hall.

"Uh—what are you guys doing?" Damian Shi was still basking in his "flashy smash" when he saw Shawn Young and Alex Easton suddenly appear in front of him. It was a real buzzkill, so he frowned and snapped at them.

"Oh, Mr. Shi, don’t get us wrong—we’re not here to cause trouble. You go ahead with your lady, we’re just two broke guys. Since you don’t want these diamonds, we’ll pick them up and sell them! Don’t worry, we won’t get in your way, hehe—" Alex Easton smiled at Damian Shi, then ignored his reaction and squatted down with Shawn Young to start picking up the scattered diamonds.

"Excuse me—could you move a bit? There’s one here, let me grab it! Thanks—" Under the gaze of the crowd, Alex Easton and Shawn Young squatted on the floor, picking up the scattered diamonds, completely unfazed by all the shocked stares.

"Oh my god, who are these two? How did people like that get in here?"

"Seriously, where did these two come from? What a buzzkill! Can’t they see Mr. Shi is trying to woo a beauty?"

"Ugh—look at their cheap knockoff clothes, they must’ve snuck in for free food and drinks. How did we end up in the same place as people like them? Someone get security and throw them out!"

Shawn Young and Alex Easton’s actions were just too outlandish—the hall immediately erupted in heated discussion. The young masters looked on with utter contempt, while the ladies’ eyes were filled with naked disdain and disgust. How could these two bumpkins be so different from someone like Damian Shi?

Damian Shi was dumbfounded by the bizarre scene. Maggie Chang, who had felt a bit tense and awkward before, suddenly blushed and tried to stifle a laugh at Shawn Young and Alex Easton’s antics. She found the whole thing amusing.

"Could you guys... pick them up later? Don’t get in my way right now!" Damian Shi’s face turned a little green, and he finally couldn’t help but snap coldly.

"Oh—Mr. Shi, don’t get the wrong idea. My buddy and I are short on cash lately, so when we saw all these diamonds on the floor, of course we couldn’t resist picking them up! You don’t want them anyway, and if we’re too slow, someone else might snatch them! So I hope you understand how desperate us broke guys are!" Shawn Young replied as he kept his head down, busy collecting diamonds.

"But you’re in my way, you know? If you really want to pick them up, wait until I’m done with Miss Chang—then you can have at it! I promise no one will fight you for them!" Damian Shi said, exasperated.

"Says who? Who wouldn’t want to grab diamonds if they saw them? I want some too! Hehe—" Minnie Wang got up from the sofa and hurried over, bending down to pick up diamonds just like Shawn Young and Alex Easton.

Following Minnie Wang’s lead, Helen and Mai Kanda also joined the fun, leaving their seats to join the diamond scramble in the middle of the hall. Suddenly, the scene turned lively—everyone was searching for diamonds on the floor, laughing and joking like it was a bustling marketplace.

"Uh—" Damian Shi hadn’t expected these guys to completely ruin the romantic mood. What was supposed to be a touching proposal had turned into a ridiculous farce, and he was so angry he nearly coughed up blood.

But when he saw that Minnie Wang, Helen, and Mai Kanda were just as stunning as Maggie Chang, his eyes went wide. He secretly regretted rushing straight to Maggie when he entered, missing out on three absolute beauties!

"Minnie—you, you’re here too?" Damian Shi finally snapped out of it and asked Minnie Wang, who was busy picking up diamonds.

"Oh, I’ve been here the whole time. But you were so focused on your big romantic moment, you didn’t notice anyone else. Anyway, I think picking up diamonds with my friends is pretty fun. Just pretend we’re invisible and keep chasing your girl! Hehe—" Minnie Wang replied, then bent back down, ignoring him.

Damian Shi was completely conflicted. He looked at the beautiful Maggie Chang, then at Minnie Wang, Helen, and Mai Kanda—all of them equally gorgeous, each with their own allure. He was so overwhelmed he froze, unsure what to do next!
