On the drill ground, Anna Yang stared wide-eyed at Six-Ears Damon, terror flooding her gaze. For a moment, she was so shocked she couldn’t speak.
Not far away, Erik Yang struggled to rise. Blood welled from his mouth, and wracked with pain, he could only kneel on one knee, steadying himself with the Trident Saber.
“Brother… Brother, are you all right?”
Anna Yang hurriedly turned her head, about to rush toward Erik Yang, but was yanked back by Six-Ears Damon.
“Let me go! Let me go!”
“So you do know how to care for someone, huh? Why is it that with me, you’re always so cold and unfeeling?”
“Let me go!”
If you ask me, you probably never cared about me at all, did you? And if you did, it was only the one from the Westward Quest!
Anna Yang clenched her teeth, struggling with all her strength to pry Six-Ears Damon’s hand away. But those hands were like iron shackles, locking her wrist in place.
“What good is it to panic now? I remember the first time I met you, I threatened you using your brother. Did you ever think that treating me this way would put your brother’s life at risk?” With a heavy thud, Iron Sentinel was slammed into the drill ground’s stone slabs. Six-Ears Damon pointed a finger, and Erik Yang’s body instantly lost control, floating into the air, unable to break free no matter how he struggled.
