With "Lynn younger sister" this and "Lynn younger sister" that, Evan Yang's ears were going numb. Lynn Lin was even more furious: "Who are you calling 'younger sister'? Stop talking nonsense and get lost! Don't think just because my master and the elders are afraid of you that I am too. I'm not afraid of you at all!"
Hearing Lynn Lin's tone and seeing the infatuated look on the young man's face, Evan Yang had already guessed his identity—this must be Prince Adrian Wood. His visit here was clearly for Lynn, leaving Evan awkwardly stuck as the person caught in the middle.
"This is between you two. Can I leave now?" Evan Yang asked.
"No way!" Lynn Lin and Prince Adrian Wood replied in unison, leaving Evan Yang stunned.
Lynn Lin and Prince Adrian Wood were both taken aback. In their minds, Lynn refused to let Evan leave because she didn't want to be alone with the prince, while Adrian wouldn't let Evan go because he thought Evan had bullied Lynn and wanted to step in and teach him a lesson.
"Hey, hey, I'm not even familiar with either of you, and this is your business. Don't drag me into it," Evan Yang protested. He was still poisoned and didn't want to get involved, at least not until he recovered.
"Who says we're not familiar? We're very close—you’re my good friend, aren’t you?" Lynn Lin grinned at Evan's words, then grabbed his arm with a grip so strong that, with his power sealed, he couldn’t break free at all.
Prince Adrian Wood's expression faltered. "Lynn younger sister, what do you mean by this?" he demanded.
"It doesn't mean anything. I just want to tell you that I already have someone I like. It's him. So, can you tell my master to cancel our arrangement? And as for your feelings, I get it," Lynn Lin said.
Hearing this, Evan Yang knew things had taken a turn for the worse—Lynn Lin was clearly using him as a shield.
Just as Evan Yang was about to explain, Prince Adrian Wood burst out laughing coldly. "Him? Someone like that? Lynn younger sister, if you must pick someone, at least pick someone outstanding, okay? I'm telling you, that's it for now. If you don't agree, you'll have to deal with the consequences yourself. I won't bother you today, but I expect an answer in three days."
After finishing, Prince Adrian Wood snorted coldly—clearly at Evan Yang. Suddenly, a wave of powerful force slammed into Evan's chest. He felt intense discomfort, but thanks to his underlying strength, he managed to withstand the blow even with his power sealed. Still, his face looked strained; after all, he had to use hidden strength to resist. Judging from Adrian's power, he was already a young void-stage Immortal Sovereign.
Thinking Evan Yang must be crippled if not dead, Prince Adrian Wood laughed and left. Lynn Lin, knowing the prince had struck, panicked. "Don't die! I didn't mean to get anyone killed!" she cried.
Evan Yang was actually fine; if he were just an ordinary person, he would have died. Still, he pretended, "That really hurt."
"Where does it hurt? Let me check." Lynn Lin had never harmed anyone and didn't want to be responsible for Evan's death, so she hurried to examine him. Seeing how anxious she was, Evan couldn't help but laugh. "I'm fine now," he said.
When Lynn Lin saw Evan was indeed fine, she glared at him. "You lied to me!"
"I didn't lie. I really was uncomfortable just now," Evan Yang replied.
Lynn Lin untied Evan Yang, but kept staring at him. "Still say you didn't lie!"
"I really was attacked. Luckily, he wasn't trying to kill me, or I'd be a corpse right now," Evan Yang said.
Lynn Lin was puzzled—why hadn't Prince Adrian Wood killed Evan Yang? Had he suddenly grown merciful? She didn't realize Evan was bluffing; if it had been anyone else, they'd be dead already.
"Consider yourself lucky," Lynn Lin said.
"Alright, since this has nothing to do with me anymore, can I leave now?" Evan Yang asked.
"No way. You have to come with me to see my master," Lynn Lin said.
"What for?" Evan Yang had a bad feeling about this.
"To tell him you're my man. Let's see if the Wood family will still want to marry a woman who already has someone," Lynn Lin said.
Evan Yang was startled. "No, don't joke like that. I can't handle this kind of chaos!"
"I'm not joking. You saw it yourself—once it's said, it can't be taken back. If I back down now, things will get even uglier. Just cooperate with me; I won't let you suffer," Lynn Lin insisted.
Evan Yang forced a bitter smile. "Miss, you saw what happened—just saying it got me attacked. If this keeps up, I won't survive past three days."
"I told you, I'll keep you alive. Don't worry," Lynn Lin said.
"How are you going to protect me? You can't even protect yourself," Evan Yang said with a bitter smile.
"I'll figure something out. Anyway, just stick with me," Lynn Lin said, then dragged Evan Yang away, warning him not to try escaping or she'd break his legs. With his power sealed, Evan could only go along for now.
Evan Yang followed Lynn Lin back to a mountain peak inside Southspirit Palace. Lynn walked up to a house and knocked on the door. "Master, are you there?"
"I'm here. Come in," a woman's voice replied from inside.
Lynn Lin pushed the door open. Inside, a woman was sitting cross-legged, her hair streaked with white. She opened her eyes, curious and a bit annoyed—why had Lynn, who left in a huff, come back?
"Master, I have something to tell you," Lynn Lin said.
"What is it?" Lynn Lin's master asked.
"He's my man, so I won't marry that ridiculous prince," Lynn Lin declared, pulling Evan Yang inside. Evan had already noticed the woman, and she was equally curious—who was Evan, and why was he with Lynn?
Hearing this, the master immediately snapped, "Stop fooling around! Do you think this is some kind of game?"
Seeing her master angry, Lynn Lin stubbornly replied, "Master, I have a man now. If you force me, there's nothing I can do—I'd rather die. See how you'll explain that to them."
"So you'd rather die, huh? You're driving me mad! Fine, I'll lock you both in the Southspirit Palace Underprison. When you finally come to your senses, I'll let you out," her master said angrily.

After her master finished speaking, a spiral-shaped tunnel appeared in front of her. It sucked both of them inside. Lynn Lin shouted, "I'd rather die than give in!" and then vanished.
Evan Yang was pulled in as well. Now, he and Lynn Lin found themselves in a dark place, surrounded by cold stone. Evan had no idea where they were, so he asked, "Where is this place?"
"This is the bottom of Southspirit Palace. They say it's a prison made from special stone, only used for monsters. Ugh, how could my master be so ruthless?" Lynn Lin complained.
"You brought this on yourself. I told you talking to her wouldn't work," Evan Yang sighed, checking the walls and finding them extremely solid.
"You're still mocking me at a time like this? Anyway, you can't leave either. If we die, we'll die together," Lynn Lin said angrily.
Evan Yang was exasperated. "Hey, is this how you treat your scapegoat?"
"So what? I like it," Lynn Lin replied.
"If I'd known, I wouldn't have come with you," Evan Yang sighed.
"Well, you're here now, and you can't leave. Might as well keep me company and chat," Lynn Lin said, bored.
Speaking of chatting, Evan Yang wanted to figure out where he'd ended up, so he asked, "What is this realm, exactly? How many strong cultivators are here?"
"Why are you asking? What does that have to do with you? You're not even at the Immortal Body stage," Lynn Lin said, curious.
Evan Yang figured 'Immortal Body' meant power above the Immortal Realm. He smiled, "I haven't reached it, but I'm just curious. Can't I ask?"
"Idiot. Of course there are tons of strong people in this realm. If a sect doesn't have a few Immortal Sovereigns, can it even call itself a sect? If a powerful clan doesn't have a God, can it call itself powerful? The only reason House Wood dares to suppress Southspirit Palace is because they have a God protecting them. So annoying," Lynn Lin grumbled.
Evan Yang was shocked. "Does cultivation progress really fast here?" he asked.
"Fast or slow? I don't know what you're talking about," Lynn Lin replied.
Evan Yang was wondering if the people here had special bodies, or maybe the Immortal Essence was thicker, so cultivation sped up.
"What I mean is—" Evan Yang stopped, realizing Lynn Lin wouldn't believe him anyway. So he said, "There are just a lot of strong cultivators here."
"That's nothing. There used to be even more before the Mutants appeared. It's all because of that damned thing that fell into our realm—so many spirit beasts couldn't resist the temptation, went in, and lost their minds," Lynn Lin said.
Hearing this, Evan Yang grew curious. "What exactly fell here?" he asked.
"A huge stone space, its surface shining with golden light. Anyone who gets close feels dizzy—even Gods. But spirit beasts can approach it without a problem, though when they come out, they lose their nature. No one knows what happens inside, not even the Gods or the creator deity of this realm. All they know is that it seems to have come from a place called the Chaos Realm," Lynn Lin explained.
Evan Yang raised his eyebrows at this—he hadn't expected such a huge hidden crisis in this realm. He was also curious about the creator deity, who could make such an amazing world and produce so many Immortal Sovereigns.
"So it's something foreign. No wonder you grabbed me as soon as you saw me," Evan Yang replied.
"Who knows if you're not one of them? Anyway, it's fine—you can help me out. Maybe I'll use you again in a few days," Lynn Lin said with a smile.
Evan Yang glared. "Hey, are you treating me like a tool?"
"That's right, you're just a tool. What are you going to do about it? Anyway, your life is in my hands now," Lynn Lin said.
Evan Yang really wanted to break his seal and fly out of here, but thinking about the consequences, he decided to hold back for now.
