Trash Does Not Deserve Reincarnation

12/19/2025

"Bang!" Crimson light exploded into countless sparks as Emperor Magnus Fate, having been teleported, crashed into the Supreme Space-Lock Immortal Array and tumbled to the ground.

Joe Di didn’t give Emperor Magnus Fate a chance to react. The Azure Veil Blade swept out, carving a streak of blade light through the air.

Even after using a ninth-tier Immortal Escape Talisman, he hadn’t managed to flee. How could Emperor Magnus Fate not realize that a Supreme Space-Lock Immortal Array had been set up here?

But he truly couldn’t figure it out. Why hadn’t he sensed a single array banner? And to set up a Space-Lock Array, not only did one need top-tier array mastery, but also a grasp of spatial law. Yet how old was his opponent? Had he already touched upon spatial law? These questions didn’t allow him time to ponder further, as Joe Di’s Azure Veil Blade was already descending.

Even though Joe Di left no opening, slashing out the moment Emperor Magnus Fate was pinned by the Supreme Space-Lock Immortal Array, to the Immortal Emperor, this speed was still far too slow.

A loamy-yellow Linglong Pagoda was summoned by Emperor Magnus Fate. In an instant, the pagoda expanded to dozens of meters tall, sweeping toward Joe Di’s Azure Veil Blade.

"Boom!" Joe Di felt his Azure Veil Blade was about to slip from his grasp. A terrifying force swept out from the pagoda, tearing apart Joe Di’s domain in an instant, intent on dragging him into the tower.

In desperation, Joe Di hurriedly activated an array law banner. The Supreme Defense Immortal Array sprang to life, and its powerful defensive immortal essence collided with the pagoda’s sweeping force, shielding Joe Di from disaster.

Cold sweat broke out on Joe Di’s back. Though he appeared to hold absolute advantage, in truth he’d nearly been finished off by the pagoda just now.

He was still standing here for two reasons. First, because this space was enveloped by his Supreme Strangle Immortal Array, the Linglong Pagoda’s speed was slowed by dozens of times, giving him a chance to summon his defensive array. Second, his blade strike had severed the pagoda’s divine law, leaving it unable to continue its assault.

Immortal Emperors—none of them are easy to deal with. As for a schemer like Emperor Magnus Fate, if Joe Di hadn’t underestimated him, he wouldn’t have gained anything from this encounter.

After surviving this crisis, Joe Di became far more cautious. A defensive immortal array now constantly circled him, and he’d already activated the Supreme Strangle Immortal Array.

Joe Di broke out in a cold sweat, while Emperor Magnus Fate was equally shaken.

That last strike with the pagoda had already calculated for the effects of Joe Di’s strangle array. Even though he was trapped and his speed slowed by dozens of times, he still had a chance to eliminate Joe Di with the pagoda.

In reality, he hadn’t even managed to injure Joe Di. That blade strike was terrifying—it had landed squarely on his divine law. What kind of blade technique was this?

Even more unsettling was that Joe Di hadn’t just set up a Supreme Strangle Immortal Array and a Supreme Space-Lock Immortal Array here—he’d also arranged a Supreme Defense Immortal Array.

And Emperor Magnus Fate couldn’t sense a single one of these arrays. Just how advanced was Joe Di’s array mastery…

Just as Emperor Magnus Fate thought this, the surrounding space shifted again. A terrifying strangle aura filled the air, saturated with the scent of death.

Not good—there’s another Supreme Strangle Immortal Array here.

If he knew how to flip the middle finger, Emperor Magnus Fate would be raising both of his right now. How ruthless—and how highly did Joe Di regard him—to set up four ninth-tier immortal arrays: one to trap, one to kill, one to prevent escape, and one to block attacks. To wield array mastery so thoroughly, Joe Di was likely the first.

"Puff, puff!" The Supreme Strangle Immortal Array was unleashed, and dense clouds of blood mist began to fill the air.

No matter how strong Emperor Magnus Fate was, he couldn’t break through so many ninth-tier immortal arrays in a short time. Especially with Joe Di occasionally slashing out with the Azure Veil Blade from within the strangle arrays.

Crack! With a single slash, Joe Di severed both of Emperor Magnus Fate’s legs. The Immortal Emperor sighed, knowing his fate was sealed—unless Joe Di showed mercy, he was doomed to die today.

"Joe Di, I concede. But I have a few words I want to say to you." Emperor Magnus Fate abandoned the idea of breaking through the surrounding grand arrays.

With ordinary immortal arrays, he would have located the array base by now. Yet with the arrays Joe Di set up, he was already gravely wounded and hadn’t even glimpsed a hint of the array’s core. To continue would only bring humiliation.

"Fine," Joe Di replied, but his Azure Veil Blade didn’t pause, chopping off one of Emperor Magnus Fate’s arms. At the same time, several array law banners locked the Immortal Emperor within the Supreme Strangle Immortal Array.

Emperor Magnus Fate ignored his severed arm, staring in shock at Joe Di. "What kind of array mastery is this? Why can’t I sense even a single array banner?"

Joe Di walked over, placed his palm on Emperor Magnus Fate’s brow, sealing all his meridians and spiritual sea, then said coldly, "You’re nothing. You think you could perceive my array banners?"

If regret could flood the Four Directions Immortal Continent, Emperor Magnus Fate’s remorse would have drowned the entire starry sky. He should never have coveted that little bit of time.

In his greed to collect more Immortal Realm fortune, he’d allowed Joe Di to set up all these terrifying, invisible arrays. Aside from that blade strike that split his divine law, Joe Di’s other abilities were negligible; it was these arrays that proved fatal.

Joe Di slung the Azure Veil Blade over his back, then walked over to seal the Fourfold Divine Cauldron, intending to store it in the True Spirit World.

He quickly discovered that his True Spirit World couldn’t contain the Fourfold Divine Cauldron. Joe Di immediately understood why—the True Spirit World’s grade was too low, and the cauldron contained most of the Immortal Realm’s fate. Such a treasure couldn’t be stored in a low-tier world.

Joe Di simply ignored the cauldron and walked up to Emperor Magnus Fate again. "Old thief, even scum is a bit better than you. For your own selfish gain, you stole the Fourfold Divine Cauldron that stabilizes the Quadrant Immortal Continent’s fate, and you tried to take all its fortune for yourself. A beast like you only wastes the universe’s vital energy."

Emperor Magnus Fate had calmed down from regret and fear. He took a deep breath, steadied himself, and said to Joe Di, "Daoist Di, I didn’t collect the fate of the Immortal Realm for myself. You should know that the Four Immortal Continents can’t ascend to a higher realm. I gathered this fate only to open the channel for ascension."

"How do you know that?" Joe Di asked instinctively.

Emperor Magnus Fate slowed his voice as much as he could. "I received an Ascension Mark from the upper realm. As long as I collect the fate of a realm, I can communicate with the upper realm and ascend."

"Smack!" Joe Di raised his hand and slapped Emperor Magnus Fate across the face, shattering half his cheek. "Trash! You’d destroy a realm and billions of lives just to ascend? If you were selfish once, fine. But I went through great difficulty to find the source of the Immortal Realm’s fate for a second time, hoping to restore the realm, and you still dare to collect it again. Tell me, how should I reward trash like you?"

Emperor Magnus Fate stared calmly at Joe Di. "Joe Di, your talent is extraordinary and your cultivation speed must be rapid. I believe you’ll soon reach the peak of Immortal Emperor, just like me. When that day comes, you’ll also face the choice of ascending to a higher realm. Let me tell you: to ascend, you must collect the fate of an entire realm. I found the Fourfold Divine Cauldron and gathered most of the Quadrant Immortal Continent’s fate, but it still wasn’t enough. That’s why I tried to collect it again."

If you’re willing to cooperate, I’ll let you take control of the Fourfold Divine Cauldron. As long as you gather all the Quadrant Immortal Continent’s fate and help me ascend with you, that’s enough. Killing me might feel good now, but it won’t benefit you at all."

Just as Joe Di was about to strike again, a thought occurred to him and his tone softened. "What’s the name of the person who gave you the mark? Where can you ascend?"

Hearing Joe Di’s gentler tone, Emperor Magnus Fate sighed inwardly, knowing he wouldn’t survive.

Since there was no way to survive, he simply fell silent.

Joe Di said coldly, "You can choose to tell me, and I’ll burn you quickly. Or you can refuse, and I’ll search your soul and roast you with Dao-fire for nine hundred and ninety-nine years. Your choice."

"His name is Jaden Dai. As for the ascension site, there’s a jade slip in my ring." Without waiting for Joe Di to ask again, Emperor Magnus Fate revealed the name.

Joe Di snorted, "You’re clever. Even if death is inevitable, at least you’ll suffer a bit less."

"Could you let me reincarnate, since I didn’t hide anything?" Emperor Magnus Fate looked at Joe Di—his one and only request.

With a flick of his hand, Joe Di took Emperor Magnus Fate’s ring. "Trash like you wants to reincarnate? Don’t even think about it."

As he spoke the last word, Joe Di raised his hand and sent a wave of flame forward.

Emperor Magnus Fate was no body-refining expert. Under Joe Di’s ninth-tier immortal flame, he lasted only a few breaths before turning to ashes, his soul utterly destroyed.
