Sean Shao's tone was icy as he looked at Evan Lin, a chill flickering in his gaze.
"Just you?" Evan Lin raised an eyebrow slightly.
Meanwhile, the chubby Cook and Leo Liang were locked in a fierce, deadlocked fight.
"You probably still don't get it. The gap between you and me isn't something you can cross. Even if I'm a pseudo-Vajra among pseudo-Vajras, I'm not someone you can shake!"
Sean Shao stepped forward slowly. As he finished his last word, his eyes snapped open. He stomped down with one foot, and his whole body shot toward Evan Lin like an arrow.
With every step Sean took, he left a half-foot deep print in the ground. All over his body, a faint membrane seemed to shimmer into view.
That membrane was barely visible, like a thin layer of mist when seen from afar.
"So this is what they call inner-strength projection?" Evan Lin narrowed his eyes, looking completely unhurried.
The next moment, when Sean was still five meters away from Evan, he suddenly leapt high into the air, fist clenched, a faint breeze swirling around his knuckles.
That breeze looked insubstantial, but Evan stepped forward with one foot, clenched his left hand into a fist, and without any hesitation, punched straight at Sean.
"Sean Shao's inner-strength projection—this punch isn't just the force of his fist, it also carries the strangling power of inner strength. That gentle-looking breeze is actually air completely twisted by his qi! And that kid actually thinks he can take it head-on? Who does he think he is?" Jason Jun watched the scene unfold, sneering.
"He doesn't even understand what pseudo-Vajra really means. With this punch, Sean Shao could shatter every bone in that kid's body!" Jason's gaze shifted from Evan Lin to Damon Wang behind him.
"Right now, the biggest threat is probably that lunatic." Jason lowered his eyelids.
Off to the side, Lena Chu was holding two glass cases. Inside the case with the blood jade, crimson sand trickled out along the cracks, landing in her palm, but Lena didn't pay much attention to it.
She frowned, staring ahead.
But the crimson sand in her palm seemed to come alive, gathering together like a wriggling snake. It slithered across her hand, up her arm, and disappeared into her clothes.
Meanwhile, Evan Lin had already thrown his punch.
Left-Hand Dragon.
Evan's punch looked completely ordinary, just a straightforward blow meeting Sean Shao's fist head-on.
"Courting death! What an idiot!"
Sean's eyes turned cold. All the inner strength in his body exploded outward, shattering the ground in a three-inch radius around him. And finally, his punch landed.
"So this is your inner-strength projection? This is your so-called pseudo-Vajra realm?"
Evan's icy voice rang out as his left fist smashed into Sean's. Sean was sent flying backwards.
With that punch, the breeze that had been swirling around Sean's fist exploded in an instant, reversing direction and blasting past him.
Sean's clothes were shredded by the rushing wind, as if sliced by countless blades, instantly turning into strips hanging off his body.
"Impossible!"
Sean's eyes widened. He felt his body flying backward, completely out of his control.
The inner strength that had just been swirling inside him was now in total chaos, impossible to control!
"Idiot. You think you can kill me?"
Sean hadn't even hit the ground when he heard Evan's voice, a primal sense of danger flooding his instincts.
Sean tried to brace himself with his left hand, hoping to use the recoil to dodge Evan Lin's next move. But just as his hand touched the ground, Evan was already there.
"So clueless. There are so many people who want to kill me—you're just another ant among them, so how dare you talk big!" Evan Lin sneered, reaching out and grabbing Sean's throat with perfect precision.
"Junior brother!" Lena Chu and Jason Jun's faces changed drastically at the same time.
Everything flipped too fast—they didn't even have time to react.
What had seemed like a guaranteed victory was overturned in an instant!
"Let her go!" Jason Jun roared furiously, charging forward like an enraged buffalo.
"Utterly foolish."
Evan snorted coldly, casually snapped Sean's neck, and tossed him aside like trash, flinging his body straight at Jason Jun.
Jason instinctively reached out to catch him.
"Watch out!"
Lena Chu shouted loudly.
Jason's heart tightened. He realized something was wrong and tried to dodge, but it was already too late.
He caught Sean's corpse, but what hit him was a massive force!
Evan's punch had struck Sean's body, but the force was transmitted directly into Jason.
Jason spat out a mouthful of blood and was blasted away, limp and powerless.
"Senior brother!"
Leo Liang was terrified at the sight.
"Your opponent is me—Super Pig-Butchering Blades! Every cut slaughters a pig!" The chubby Cook rumbled, and as Leo was distracted, he struck decisively, chopping off both of Leo's hands with a few swift knife blows.
"Aah!" Leo Liang screamed in agony.
"Miss Lena Chu, now, you can hand over what you're holding, right?" Damon Wang said coolly. His eyes flickered when he saw Evan Lin end the fight with just two punches.
Then, he turned to Lena Chu, the only one still standing.
Lena's expression kept changing. "If I give you this divine medicine, will you let me and my senior brothers live?"
Lena wasn't strong herself; she was respected mostly because of her special status within Medicine King Valley.
Now the situation was entirely one-sided.
Jason Jun lay there, his life or death unknown. The strongest, Sean Shao, was already dead, and Leo Liang had lost both hands.
Damon Wang smiled faintly and shook his head. "Of course not. I was willing to negotiate with you at first—if you'd just given me the divine medicine, not only could you have left, but I'd even owe you a favor. But now, that's impossible."
"After all, I'm a coward who fears death. Only by killing all of you can I keep Medicine King Valley from finding the culprit. That way, I might live a few years longer." Damon Wang's face grew cold.
Lena Chu's face changed again. She took a deep breath and said, "Do you really think you can escape Medicine King Valley's punishment? You're underestimating us!"
"Whether I escape or not, that's my problem." Damon Wang shook his head and stepped forward.
Evan Lin looked at Lena Chu, frowning slightly as he noticed the blood jade in her hand. He sensed something unusual emanating from it.
The aura coming from it was chillingly sinister.
