Truth of the Sanzu Force Part 1

"I just heard, Ethan Zhang, you've been connected with John Chou for quite a long time, haven't you?"

"Old Wayne, please help us take a look," I said. Wayne Harris reached out and carefully examined it.

Suddenly, I remembered something: Sandra Yu and Samantha Simons had both suffered damage to their Ghost Souls. Especially Samantha Simons—her Ghost Soul had been pierced, but after arriving here, she recovered after a while.

Wayne Harris muttered to himself as he spoke.

"I'm going to find Mr. Brown."

John Chou wasn't outside at the moment. I knew he must be at the Black Lake, so I went straight to the room leading there, stepped inside, and was startled to see that the Black Lake, which had been thirty or forty meters from the ground, had risen significantly—now only a dozen meters above the ground.

John Chou sat quietly atop the Black Lake, on a floating boulder. Hell's Sentinel stood by his side. I stepped stone by stone across the lake and ran up to him.

"That said, whether this person is willing to help is another matter entirely."

I didn't think much of it. I left the courtyard and explained the situation to the ghosts. Rachel Lan stood up, intending to come with me. I didn't object, so the two of us left the courtyard and headed straight for Grimhill Cemetery.

Wayne Harris shook his head and laughed.

"I just heard, Ethan, you've been connected with John Chou for quite a long time, haven't you?"

I made a surprised sound and thought about it. It was true—he was the first ghost I ever met.

Suddenly, I remembered something: Sandra Yu and Samantha Simons had both suffered damage to their Ghost Souls. Especially Samantha Simons—her Ghost Soul had been pierced, but after arriving here, she recovered after a while.

I stood up.

"I'm going to find him."

With a swish, Rachel Lan released two Spirit Shrouds, sending them up the small mound. She concentrated, controlling the Spirit Shrouds with focus.

I didn't think much of it. I left the courtyard and explained the situation to the ghosts. Rachel Lan stood up, intending to come with me. I didn't object, so the two of us left the courtyard and headed straight for Grimhill Cemetery.

"Ethan, you seem a little different since you came back this time," Rachel Lan said.
