World Turned Upside Down

12/7/2025

The giant's emotions surged and crashed, making it impossible for Jill Young to focus on throwing her punch.

In her eyes, three worlds overlapped at once: the physical world where the battle raged, the Memory Realm flickering and growing heavier by the second, and the wild, rolling surges of space itself.

Fighting was exhausting enough, but the Memory Realm devoured her mental energy, and the Spatial Surge—well, don't even get her started. If not for all that, she would've unleashed a Heavenly Calamity, not just a measly disaster.

But the Memory Realm couldn't stop.

Mom was locked in a control battle for ultraspace against Master Nature.

Master Nature kept cracking the secrets of ultraspace, while Mom fought back by digging deep into her memories to boost her grip on things. It was a nail-biting contest. If she stopped remembering and let Master Nature get the upper hand, it was game over. Honestly, what Mom was doing mattered more than anything happening here on Earth. No matter how wild the fight got, the real showdown was happening in that slippery, unpredictable ultraspace.

She pondered, but her hands never stopped moving.

If she could take out this so-called 'god' first, that would seriously ease the pressure. So yeah, she couldn't slack off in this fight either.

But right then, Jill Young's feet suddenly froze. Thanks to her mental link with Mom, she knew something had gone haywire in ultraspace. The Spatial Surge became wild and weird, and the interference between Earth and ultraspace got totally unpredictable. At the same time, her sharp senses told her that gravity beneath her feet had just... tilted.

How the heck does gravity tilt?

But Jill Young could sense it perfectly: gravity was no longer pointing straight down—it was tilting, fast. The physical constants of this space were being rewritten!

"Huh?" Even folks who weren't super sensitive could feel it, because the flat grassland suddenly felt like a slope. The ground was still level, but it was like standing on the side of a cable-stayed bridge, staring down and feeling like you might tumble.

Zzzzt—someone's legs scraped two long grooves in the earth. Gravity wasn't just tilting, it was getting stronger too!

"What the heck?" The fight paused for a moment, because the tilt kept getting steeper. Some folks had to crouch just to keep their balance. Wham! The Paladin stabbed his greatsword into the ground, gripping it with both hands, barely keeping himself from sliding away.

And that wasn't the end—next second, gravity went completely sideways!

"Holy crap!"

The normal ground felt like a vertical wall, and the sky was now just another wall across from it. Up and down got totally scrambled, and all the hills and dips on the grassland turned into weird decorations plastered across this massive, impossible wall.

"Aaaah!" Instantly, people spun out and tumbled away, accelerating toward the endless "depths."

But the Chosen Ones had plenty of tricks up their sleeves. The ones good at aerial combat were loving it—finally, their moment to shine! Like, the so-called 'god' cracked a grin and shot a beam of light straight at Jill Young. A black mech blasted out plasma flames to catch its buddy, then spun through the air, looking to take down the unlucky nerd who couldn't fly.

But right then, it looked up—and saw snow falling.

A blizzard was coming down.

It wasn't just the Chosen Ones affected by the wild gravity—the snow on the ground started to crack, wrinkle, pile up, and roll, then suddenly collapsed from the highest point in sight.

Avalanche! The biggest, craziest avalanche ever!

A massive wave of white crashed down, swallowing every single Chosen One.

"What the heck is happening!" The thunderous roar shook the whole grassland. Some herders stepped out of their tents, only to turn pale at the sight—a giant wall of snow shot skyward, like a mad white dragon ripping through the earth, barreling east faster and faster.

"This sideways gravity well can't cover the whole world—it's got limits! Let's bust out!" Some Chosen Ones threw everything they had at the edge of the gravity chaos. But when one slammed into it, there was a loud thud and he bounced back, scrambled and dizzy. It felt like an invisible membrane was locking the place down tight.

"No way!" The Chosen One panicked, the endless falling making him feel a real sense of doom.

And that still wasn't the end.

"Oh my god, the turf and the ground are collapsing too!"

The white snow was still howling, while huge cracks split open all across the earth-wall. The soil and lone rocks couldn't handle the sideways gravity, and in a blink, they collapsed too.

So the "white dragon" was streaked with color, its roar shaking the night sky even harder, making hearts pound with terror.

"Eternal Heaven! Tengri! Oh my god, protect us!" The herders and their families dropped to their knees, praying to their gods, hoping this nightmare would end.

Just then, a six-colored flash whipped past the herder family's eyes, and several dazzling beams pierced the rolling earth, lighting up the scene.

"God! God really showed up!"

Boom, boom, boom—giant crashes thundered out, and suddenly, huge "flowers" exploded along the white dragon's back. These mud-and-earth blossoms shot everywhere, landing with a splat and finally lying quietly on the grassland.

"Ordinary stuff can escape this gravity well, so why can't we?"

"Is ultraspace messing with the Chosen Ones even harder than everything else?"

"Is this gravity well endless or what? There's gotta be an end, right?"

"The gravity well keeps stretching! Someone's definitely screwing with us on purpose!"

"Look, there's a hill up ahead—think of something, quick!"

The massive hill made the ground suddenly shoot upward, and to the Chosen Ones, it looked like a giant slope charging straight at them! Soft dirt shook loose, revealing jagged rock underneath. If you landed on that slope, it'd be like free-falling from 3,000 meters—splat, instant tomato.

The twenty-five-meter-tall giant roared, whipping up a wind that swept up his Chosen Ones, lifting and moving them just in time to dodge the slope. But right behind him, with a sound like heavy metal rock, a mech bounced off the slope like a ski jumper, flying in style toward them.

It was King Titan!

No, not the regular King Titan. Hellfire blazed across its body—this was the Infernal King Titan. Twin swords flared with unstoppable fire, and with a cross-shaped slash, it struck in an instant!

At the same time, shouts rang out as a crowd of Chosen Ones burst from behind King Titan, using it as a battle platform to launch a surprise attack!
