Unfathomable

Primordial Gate, shallow-red void, Famous Masters Pavilion.

Countless gazes focused on Andrew Han alone—he was the center of attention. The Primordial-Gate Famous Masters could not help but debate among themselves: "The child of a Supreme Existence? Absolutely impossible."

"For a Supreme Existence to have offspring is an arduous feat. In all the epochs past, there has never been a case of a Human Supreme Existence giving birth to a child... Moreover, the birth of such an offspring would be heralded by countless cosmic omens and celebrations, a spectacle rivaling the starry wonders marking a Stellar Palace-tier lifeform’s ascension to Eternal King."

"Exactly. Rather than being the child of a Supreme Existence, I’d sooner believe Andrew Han is entangled with Fate Dao-Laws."

The Famous Masters exchanged silent transmissions, secretly observing Andrew Han’s every move and analyzing him from all angles.

For example, Andrew Han’s cautious nature, his steely resolve forged through life-and-death struggles, marked him as a cultivator of loyalty and emotion.

Or perhaps it was the extreme lack of harmony between Andrew Han’s life-gene and Soul-Will.

Even the longing and homesickness in Andrew Han’s heart could be deduced from their analysis.

Yet—

No matter how sharp or discerning the Famous Masters’ eyes, they still could not see anything truly extraordinary about Andrew Han: "Given all this, it must be fate, without a doubt."

Fate Dao-Laws—these are the lofty, ancient origins of the starry cosmos.

Take the life-gene path, for example: there are Basic Traits, Superior Traits, Profound Traits, and Ultimate Traits—also called Ultimate Profound Traits. When these traits evolve to their absolute limit, one gains the right to touch the source of the cosmic starry sky!

The source of the starry sky is precisely the Dao-Laws.

As for the concept of Dao-Laws, even these Primordial-Gate Famous Masters know little about it.

For all their vast learning, they have only heard a few ideas related to Dao-Laws—that Dao-Laws represent the operating tracks or trajectories of all things.

Everything is Dao-Law.

And yet, not everything is Dao-Law.

"I once heard a saying," said Master Gong Hao, the first to refuse Andrew Han’s consultation, speaking softly: "Dao-Laws are the root of change. Unborn and undying, without increase or decrease, formless and imageless, without beginning or end, encompassing all, infinitely vast and infinitely subtle, unchanging through eternity."

A jumble of words.

Most of the Famous Masters were left baffled, shaking their heads in silence.

Immediately after—

Another Famous Master, who had refused Andrew Han’s consultation on the excuse of 'being asleep,' now transmitted: "To put it simply, Dao-Laws are the infinite mysteries of change, the source of all things, the eternal and immortal truth! But let’s not discuss this further—look at Andrew Han."

As he spoke, he looked toward Andrew Han, and all the other Famous Masters did the same.

Inside the Famous Masters Pavilion, bridges arched over flowing streams, rare flowers and exotic grasses filled the air with strange scents and illusions, and the river rushed gently between banks lined with quiet rooms, each occupied by a Primordial-Gate Famous Master. The Primordial-Gate Famous Masters are the instructors of the Primordial Gate.

Andrew Han, the Primordial-tier Genius, was about to knock on the door of the sixth quiet room.

But inside, it was not a Primordial-Gate Famous Master!

It was an Eternal-Gate Famous Master!

By direct order of a Human Race powerhouse, a Famous Master from the Eternal Gate manifested a virtual avatar to sit in the sixth quiet room!

Though the news was kept secret, all the Primordial-Gate Famous Masters present knew of it and understood its importance. They would never leak it, much less tell Andrew Han.

“Look!”

“He knocked!”

All the Primordial-Gate Famous Masters held their breath.

Not only that, but Andrew Han, standing before the door of the sixth quiet room, also felt a bit nervous and uneasy. Surely his luck wasn’t so bad—after all this effort to reach the Primordial-Gate Famous Masters Pavilion, could every master truly be too busy to see him?

Knock, knock.

Andrew Han stopped at the door and gently knocked on the crystal door.

The crystal-clear door of the quiet room shimmered with mysterious symbols, like a world dividing life and death, light and dark. Even ordinary Stellar Palace-tier experts would be drawn in, forgetting all mundane affairs.

“Come in.”

A voice came from inside, calm and emotionless.

As soon as the words were spoken, the door opened, and Andrew Han stepped inside, almost forgetting about the wooden fish beside him.

The wooden fish shook its head and turned to leave.

The crystal door of the quiet room closed instantly, blocking the wooden fish’s view of the interior. None of the Primordial-Gate Famous Masters could see anything either; they could only sigh in regret.

An Eternal-Gate Famous Master!

Anyone who serves as a Famous Master in the Archaic Hall possesses extraordinary mastery. The gap between Eternal-Gate and Primordial-Gate Famous Masters is vast, like the difference between the moon’s light and a firefly’s glow—entirely separate levels.

“What a lucky genius.”

To receive guidance from an Eternal-Gate Famous Master—he might even have a small chance of ascending to the Primeval Gate.

The Primordial-Gate Famous Masters sighed inwardly and withdrew their gazes one after another.

...

Inside the sixth quiet room.

An immense milky-white space stretched out, unobstructed.

Even with peak Starlight-tier vision, Andrew Han still couldn’t see the edges of the milky-white space—as if an entire life planet could fit inside.

“What was this Famous Master’s name again?” As Andrew Han stepped into the sixth quiet room, his eyes fell on the towering figure in the far distance.

He suddenly remembered a question.

Upon entering, he realized he had forgotten to check the master’s name.

The man stood with his back to Andrew Han, wearing a black long robe whose hem touched the quiet room floor. On close inspection, countless overlapping phantoms could be seen, as if containing endless folded spaces. White traces divided the darkness, together forming a cosmic starry sky.

Both real and illusory!

Both black and white!

As if the manifestation of all things!

My god, this is definitely an existence above the Void Rift tier, Andrew Han thought to himself, amazed that his Starlight-tier senses perceived the figure as vaster than the entire Solar System!

A moment later.

The man turned with a faint smile at the corner of his mouth and looked at Andrew Han.

“Andrew Han.”

His voice carried a strange magnetism—plain and calm, yet it seemed to shatter space, ringing in Andrew Han’s ears and exploding deep within his heart.

Andrew Han’s very soul trembled.

“Just call me Master Xu.” His face was crystalline, with black eyes and black hair, and a flame-shaped mark burned at his brow, as if he were a cosmic life born within a star.

“Master Xu.”

Andrew Han hurriedly replied.

This enigmatic Master Xu looked almost like an Earth human, making Andrew Han feel a sense of familiarity. Yet deep down, he felt the suffocating sensation of facing the vast heavens—like an ordinary person in a tiny boat before a thousand-fold tsunami, unable to resist, his heart pounding in fear.

Andrew Han was astonished: “I always thought my will was strong and unshakeable, immune to outside influence. Yet just Master Xu’s voice alone made me instinctively feel awe.”

If the Primordial-Gate Famous Masters knew this, they would probably burst out laughing.

The Eternal-Gate Famous Masters of the Eternal Gate are responsible for teaching the Human Race’s Eternal Kings. The value of a single Eternal-Gate Famous Master even surpasses that of a true Eternal King!

The next moment—

Master Xu gazed at Andrew Han, then closed his eyes in thought for a while before sitting cross-legged in midair: “I know your purpose in coming here, and I see your doubts.”

Andrew Han opened his mouth, but no words came.

Impossible.

He couldn’t believe it, but Master Xu spoke calmly: “You admire Heaven-Venerables. Subjectively, you wish to become one, yearning for the awe commanded by the Flame-Heritage Mountains. But objectively and rationally, you have denied this possibility, knowing how unreachable the Heaven-Venerable level truly is.”

Andrew Han was deeply moved, his expression changing dramatically.

This was a subconscious thought. If Master Xu hadn’t spoken it aloud, Andrew Han would never have realized it himself.

Master Xu opened his eyes and looked at Andrew Han’s black-and-white pupils: “Regarding this issue, I’ll give you two answers.”

Before Andrew Han could ask further—

Master Xu spoke calmly, without any waves or fluctuations.

Dreamer’s answer: You’re right. A genius who doesn’t aspire to be a Heaven-Venerable is not a true Human genius. Without dreams, you’re no different from ordinary people.

Standard answer: Wishful thinking. You must change your mindset... Do you know what it means to be a Human Heaven-Venerable? Do you think, just with the Ink-Platform inheritance, or some insight into fate’s trajectory, you can aspire to become a Human Heaven-Venerable?

After saying this—

Andrew Han’s expression changed once again.

These secrets hidden deep in his heart were broken open by Master Xu with a single sentence.

Then, Master Xu narrowed his eyes, scrutinizing Andrew Han. His deep gaze seemed to see through all things: “Hmm... Your life genes have condensed into one profound trait that can be switched to an ultimate trait, plus three basic traits. Your soul space has condensed into 4,103 consciousness nodes. Not bad, but that’s all. Primeval-tier genius is your limit.”

If a Supreme Heaven-Venerable or an Eternal King were sitting before me—

I wouldn’t be able to see through the soul origin or life origin of a Supreme Heaven-Venerable or an Eternal King.

After saying this, Master Xu looked at Andrew Han with a faint, knowing smile, as if asking: “Is there anything about you that I haven’t seen through?”

Andrew Han was stunned and said nothing.

Can’t see through...

Soul origin and life origin...

He suddenly thought of the most mysterious aspect of his soul space—the Soul Diamond, evolved from the Inspiration Crystal and Thought Crystal, standing at the very center. Master Xu had not explained this.

“Well then.”

He glanced at Andrew Han, a trace of pondering and doubt in his eyes, then smiled and said: “Let me give you two examples.”
