The Mysterious Profound Clarity Sect

2/14/2026

Back in South-Capital, the Baiyun Immortal that Evan encountered seemed like someone who had escaped from the Profound Clarity Sect.

Later, in the Jiang-Zhe region, members of the Yun family also seemed to have vague connections to the Profound Clarity Sect.

Previously, Evan hadn’t paid much attention to this so-called Profound Clarity Sect—he’d mostly let it slip by without a second thought.

But this time, when he killed the impostor in front of him, he finally got the answer he wanted.

The Pointing-to-Mystery Realm expert before him was also a guy who’d escaped from the Profound Clarity Sect—now trying to hide by relying on a secular family, terrified of being exposed.

Keep in mind, this guy was a Pointing-to-Mystery master.

To Evan, his strength wasn’t worth mentioning—but for ordinary people, a Pointing-to-Mystery expert was practically otherworldly.

Yet even such a strong figure, when talking about the Profound Clarity Sect, looked absolutely terrified.

That alone showed just how terrifying the true power of the so-called Profound Clarity Sect was.

As Evan pondered, nobody around him dared to say a word.

All the gazes in the arena focused on Evan. The host who’d been running the fight was so terrified he bolted, leaving nobody to announce Evan’s victory.

Ray Lei, who controlled the arena lights, was so scared he collapsed in the darkened control room, wetting himself and barely able to stand.

Evan shook his head and walked out from the rubble, finally stepping out of the moonlight that filtered down.

His fiery silhouette gradually melted into the darkness, and everyone’s eyes followed his steps.

But since the Illustrious Gate Arena’s underground ring was more than ten meters below ground, and all the lights were destroyed, everything around was pitch black.

If not for the faint firelight still flickering around Evan, nobody could have seen where he was.

As Evan walked toward the stands, his red hair gradually faded, and the crimson glow in his eyes returned to pitch black.

Only then did the crowd suddenly realize they couldn’t spot the teenage figure who’d claimed to be 'Master Lin from Seacrest!'

"We can't just let him leave!"

Leon Lu was beside himself: "Damn, this guy’s a real master—a real master!"

"If I could bring him home, damn, wouldn’t I be able to get anything I wanted?"

Leon Lu was losing his cool, cursing nonstop. He was so excited, but seeing the Seacrest Master Lin fade into the darkness, he couldn’t wait and rushed down after him.

Gloria Rong, Barry Shen, and the others finally snapped out of it, cried out in surprise, and hurried after him.

If they could build a good relationship with such a powerful master—even just meet him—it would be the ultimate honor for them!

"Do you need me to take you home later?"

The stands above the ring were in chaos.

The excited crowd suddenly remembered their phones could be used for light.

They turned on their phone flashlights, trying to spot the Seacrest Master Lin.

Beams from dozens of phones shot out, but almost none found anything.

Evan squeezed through the chaotic crowd and sat down next to Molly Su, speaking softly to her.

He could tell Molly Su’s Fire-Spirit Mortal Body seemed to be awakening again—and she no longer looked like she was being burned by it.

Maybe she’d finally encountered her own stroke of luck?

Evan guessed a bit, but for now had no plans to interfere.

"No need. You probably still have things to take care of, right?"

Molly shook her head in the dark, not realizing Evan couldn’t see it. Luckily, since it was pitch black, she didn’t have to worry about him noticing the blush on her cheeks.

"With me here, I won’t let anyone hurt Molly."

Logan Rowe spoke in a low voice; there was a hint of awkwardness, but thanks to his Rowe clan backing, he wasn’t too panicked or afraid—he could keep his emotions in check.

He was thinking that, once he found Brandon Rowe, he’d have Brandon deal with that kid sitting next to Molly.

After all, Brandon Rowe was a fourth-grade Pointing-to-Mystery expert.

He didn’t believe the guy next to Molly could possibly have fourth-grade Pointing-to-Mystery strength.

Even though the fight just now was honestly pretty flashy.

Evan just grunted lightly and didn’t say anything more.

The guys who’d been mocking Evan behind him had already slipped away when he left the ring.

One of them was so scared by Evan’s methods he could barely walk, crawling away on all fours, terrified Evan would come back for them.

"Take care of yourself. If anything happens, just call me."

Evan got up and said this. Molly Su nodded obediently, her eyes hidden in the darkness fixed on Evan’s direction—like only in the shadows did she have the courage to look straight at him.

Leaving the stands.

Now that the fake Master Lin issue was settled, the next step was dealing with the Shang family.

Evan was deep in thought.

Suddenly, beams of phone light shot toward him.

"Master Lin!"

"Master Lin! Where are you?"

"Master Lin, would you come out and meet us?"

Someone ran over, shouting loudly in this direction, their voice strong and clear.

A string of footsteps followed behind them—it sounded like a lot of people.

Leon Lu moved fast, pushing through the crowd in front of him. He called out repeatedly, but nobody in the darkness answered.

The whole arena was searching for the Seacrest Master Lin, but nobody could find him.

Just now, the Seacrest Master Lin was blazing with fire—his hair and eyes were red, so he was easy to spot.

But no matter how hard they searched, they couldn’t find that figure.

"Why are you here?"

A phone beam landed right on Evan’s face. Gloria Rong, rushing after Leon Lu, saw Evan standing there and sounded both surprised and a bit angry.

But even so, she couldn’t hide the sigh of relief she let out when she saw Evan was safe.

That was the feeling of relaxing after a scare.

"Didn’t I tell you to come find me as soon as you got down here?"

Gloria suddenly spoke, her voice carrying a hint of coldness—partly to cover up her relief at seeing Evan safe, worried others might misunderstand.
