Shameless King Tuer

Hearing Ian Song agree to bring her along, she instantly broke into a smile through her tears.

"Damn it!"

Seeing the smug little girl, Ian Song could only curse inwardly, speechless with frustration.

As for Nina Shaw and Evan Wilder, Ian Song glanced at them and decided to leave them behind to guard this place.

"Let's go!"

Ian Song took the little girl by the hand and led her out of the formation. With a casual toss, the Sacred Mountain expanded in the wind, instantly growing to ten zhang (about 33 feet) tall.

The Sacred Mountain of the Chaos Sun Sect contained an alien force that death spirits didn’t dare approach.

Leaping onto the mountain, Ian Song piloted it in the direction where King Tuer and the others had gone.

Sure enough, sensing the aura of the Sacred Mountain, the death spirits along the way all scattered, not daring to come near.

This saved Ian Song quite a bit of time.

Ten days later.

Ian Song and the others arrived outside a city. He spread his Divine Sense (spiritual perception used by cultivators) far and wide; the city showed signs of looting and battle, so he continued onward.

One month!

Two months!

Three months.

After more than three months of travel, a primordial giant city appeared in their sights.

Unlike the other ruined cities, this one was astonishingly well preserved.

Ian Song had a hunch that Redmoon God-King and the others were trapped inside this city. Instinctively, he released his Divine Sense.

"Whoosh, whoosh! Whoosh, whoosh!"

But his Divine Sense caused a huge disaster, alarming countless death spirits inside the city. They shot into the air and swarmed toward the city walls.

The death spirits inside this city were especially ferocious. Even though they feared the Sacred Mountain's aura, they didn't retreat—instead, they lingered all around, tightly encircling him.

In an instant, the sky and ground were packed with death spirits. The little girl's pretty face went pale, fear showing in her eyes as she instinctively pressed closer to Ian Song.

"Don't be afraid!"

Ian Song gently patted the little girl on the back.

This time, she didn't talk back—she just gave a soft, quiet hum in reply.

About a quarter of an hour passed.

Suddenly, the surrounding death spirits parted to form a corridor, and seven God-King–level death spirits flew in.

Each of these seven death spirits was like a small mountain, but their faces were extremely ugly.

"Living beings!"

One of the God-King–level death spirits uttered a strange syllable.

"Grow—bigger, bigger, bigger!"

At that moment, Ian Song suddenly shouted softly. The Sacred Mountain under his feet abruptly swelled hundreds of times, transforming into a giant peak.

Caught off guard, countless death spirits were struck by the Sacred Mountain; their bodies turned to wisps of smoke and vanished into the air.

For a moment, the faces of all seven God-King–level death spirits showed deep dread.

"So that's it—the alien force from the Sacred Mountain can actually erase death spirits!"

Ian Song laughed and piloted the Sacred Mountain toward the city.

Seeing the Sacred Mountain approach, the other death spirits—even though they lacked intelligence—instinctively dodged aside, and even the seven God-King–level death spirits were no exception.

At that moment—

Ian Song released Redmoon God-King's divine-spirit avatar.

"Little brother, how did you end up here? Get out, quick!"

The moment she appeared, she anxiously tried to persuade him.

"Sis, don't worry! This Sacred Mountain is a supreme treasure—death spirits can't touch it at all. By the way, which direction are you guys in the city? I'll come pick you up!"

Ian Song asked with a smile. He had just swept the city with Divine Sense but hadn't found them; they must be hiding with a formation.

Hearing this, Redmoon God-King's divine-spirit avatar realized the death spirits didn't dare approach, and pointed in a certain direction.

Ian Song immediately piloted the Sacred Mountain in that direction. Along the way, some God-King–level death spirits watched from afar, but none dared come close.

Soon enough—

He drove the Sacred Mountain to the front of a palace, discovering that billions of death spirits surrounded it.

"Little brother's here!"

Inside the palace, Redmoon God-King, who had been meditating, suddenly opened her eyes, surprise and joy on her face.

As Ian Song arrived with the Sacred Mountain, the death spirits around the palace scattered in panic. Those too slow to dodge were struck by the mountain and instantly vanished into smoke.

Boom!

The Sacred Mountain landed in front of the palace gates. Various formations protected the palace, but they weren't very sophisticated and required manual control and divine power input.

He quickly cast several hand seals, and the formation split open. Then he shrank the Sacred Mountain and barged straight in.

"Not good! Death spirits have broken in!"

At that moment, the ones controlling the formation were Silverwing God-King and two God-Kings from the God-Demon Corps.

"Haha, everyone, don't panic—it's me!"

Ian Song hurried to explain.

"Little brother!"

With a flash, Redmoon God-King appeared directly. The moment she saw Ian Song, surprise and joy flashed in her eyes.

"Sis!" Ian Song was just as excited.

King Tuer, Snowsun God-King, and the others appeared one after another, all looking at Ian Song in surprise.

When Snowsun God-King's gaze swept over Mira Skylar, he was utterly astonished and couldn't speak for a long while.

"Dad!"

The little girl threw herself at Snowsun God-King.

"You... you're Mira? How did you end up looking like this?" Snowsun God-King still couldn't believe the little girl before him was his daughter.

"It's all that jerk Ian Song's fault! He made me test his formation, and that's how I ended up like this!"

The little girl huffed angrily.

Snowsun God-King instinctively looked at Ian Song.

"Uncle Sikong, don't worry! Give me ten years at most, and I'll figure out a formation to turn her back!" Ian Song quickly promised.

"That's good to hear!"

Snowsun God-King nodded, not at all angry. After all, ten years was nothing to a God-King.

"Ian, how did you manage to get in here?"

King Tuer suddenly spoke up.

"I have a treasure that death spirits fear—it's the Sacred Mountain beneath my feet. That's how I got in!" As he spoke, Ian set the Sacred Mountain down for everyone to see. "Come on up, everyone. I'll take you out of here!"

King Tuer's eyes flickered with a strange light. He flew up and landed on the mountain.

The others quickly followed, flying up to join him.

With no one left maintaining the formation, the barrier was smashed through by the death spirits.

But the death spirits that rushed in vanished into smoke the moment they got close to the Sacred Mountain.

"Let's go!"

Ian piloted the Sacred Mountain out of the palace, scattering the death spirits as he went.

"What a treasure!"

King Tuer couldn't help but praise it.

Soon, Ian had flown everyone out of the city and into a safe area.

Just then, Ian's expression suddenly changed. He gave King Tuer a cold look. "What do you think you're doing?"

He had sensed King Tuer quietly channeling his divine power into the Sacred Mountain, trying to forcibly refine it. If this were a normal God-King artifact, Ian really wouldn't be able to stop him. But this mountain was bound to its stone heart and controlled by Ian alone—even a God Emperor couldn't seize it by force.

Caught red-handed, King Tuer showed no shame at all. Instead, he said matter-of-factly, "Ian, a treasure like this is wasted on you. Why not hand it over to me? I'll compensate you with two ordinary God-King artifacts."

Redmoon God-King instantly erupted in anger, fixing King Tuer with a cold glare. "King Tuer, if you want to steal my little brother's treasure, you'll have to get past me first!"
