Seeing this phenomenon, Evan Chu was absolutely delighted. He knew this was probably another rare stroke of fortune—if he could absorb the energy from this sphere, his cultivation might rise again. Even if he couldn’t break through to mid God-Emperor, he could at least reach the peak of early stage. Opportunities like this were one in a million.
The pressure here was intense, but still within Evan Chu’s tolerance. He sped up the circulation of Chaos Divine Power in his body and began actively absorbing the energy sphere formed by the Violet Cloud Crystals.
As soon as the energy sphere entered his body, it tangled with the Chaos Divine Power in his dantian, almost as if trying to seize control. But the Chaos Divine Power was voracious, madly devouring everything—the entire energy sphere was absorbed and transformed into more Chaos Divine Power.
The energy produced by this sphere was far stronger than anything Evan had ever absorbed from God Stones before—whether in quality or quantity, this naturally formed energy sphere was on a whole different level. If he’d had access to it in the past, he might have broken through long ago.
But now, his dantian seemed like a bottomless pit—no matter how much Violet Cloud Crystal energy he devoured and transformed, it never reached saturation. Evan had never seen anything like this before. Somehow, his dantian had grown much larger.
Compared to before, his dantian now felt like a great river, while the old one was just a tiny stream. The difference was so huge it made him uneasy—if his dantian really had expanded, he’d need far more Divine Power to break through in the future, and that meant burning through even more God Stones.
The thought made Evan a little afraid, but there was nothing he could do at this point. All he could do was take things one step at a time and hope this was just a special case from absorbing Violet Cloud Crystal energy for the first time.
Evan frantically absorbed the energy from the spheres, until the mist around him began to thin out. By the time he’d finished, he found his dantian had silently grown even larger. It felt as if a separate space had formed inside—or maybe the Chaos Divine Power hadn’t truly devoured the energy, but had simply brought it into his dantian.
Now, his dantian was occupied by two types of energy—one on the left, one on the right. Neither tried to invade the other; it was like they’d signed a treaty for peaceful coexistence. The whole thing was incredibly strange.
A bizarre thought flashed through Evan’s mind: with this phenomenon, it was as if his dantian had split in two. In other words, he now had two dantians—but they weren’t truly separated, and only by using inner vision could he see it clearly.
From now on, Evan wouldn’t have to worry so much about burning up his Chaos Divine Power when using martial arts—if he ran out, he still had Violet Cloud Crystal energy to draw on. Or maybe, he could even absorb both types of energy at once. Just thinking about how terrifying this was made his heart race with excitement.
But having this phenomenon also meant he couldn’t advance his realm for now. Even so, it was a huge blessing, and he couldn’t help but feel grateful.
Evan stopped absorbing energy from the spheres—there wasn’t much left anyway. He tried to split his focus and operate both energies at once, and sure enough, it worked just as he’d hoped. Both energies could circulate without interfering with each other. It was pretty miraculous.
If he told anyone he now basically had two dantians, they’d think he was crazy. Nothing like this should even be possible, but Evan had a knack for making the impossible happen—he’d proved that much already.
Evan gradually stopped circulating his energy. Right now, finding the mine core was the top priority. If energy spheres this powerful existed here, there had to be a mine core nearby. He dove downward again, and this time, it felt like he’d entered a whole new world.
Everything around him was purple—no pressure, no air. Looking closely, it was all Violet Cloud Crystals, every grade imaginable. Evan knew he wouldn’t get the kind of luck he’d had in the Immortal Realm; there was no way an artifact spirit could exist here.
This whole space was basically a Violet Cloud Crystal kingdom. If it could all be mined out, Evan believed he could dig up tens of billions or even more Violet Cloud Crystals—especially high-grade and supreme-grade ones.
Of course, all these Violet Cloud Crystals were embedded in stone—they were just packed in so densely that the purple glow made it look like everything was crystal. The sheer number and the light they gave off created the illusion.
Evan didn’t rush to start mining. Instead, he spread out his divine sense to search for the so-called mine core. The area was at least several thousand meters across—absolutely massive—and even his divine sense was heavily restricted here.
The so-called mine core was actually the single most elite Violet Cloud Crystal—or sometimes a cluster—within the entire vein. Its size and energy content were unmatched. As long as the mine core was present, new Violet Cloud Crystals would keep appearing, though it took an extremely long time for them to form.
Evan had an idea: if he got the mine core, he’d transplant it into the underground world of his Timewheel Bracelet. After hundreds of thousands, maybe even millions of years, it could produce new Violet Cloud Crystals—and with the bracelet’s time ratio, that wasn’t too long at all. Some people’s closed-door cultivation lasted tens or even hundreds of thousands of years.
The Qin Heaven Sword Sect’s master once went into seclusion for millions of years. That was terrifying, but Evan didn’t plan on anything so extreme. With Violet Cloud Crystals everywhere, it was dizzying—and finding the mine core was no easy task.
“I’ll have to dig out some of these Violet Cloud Crystals before I can find the mine core. Time to put the Fire Dragon and the others to work.” Evan muttered to himself.
With that thought, Evan sent his divine sense into the Timewheel Bracelet. The Fire Dragon and three others had sworn a blood oath to him, so finding them was easy. After a few breaths, he’d notified them all, and they quickly came out of seclusion to gather together.
Soon Evan brought all four out of the Timewheel Bracelet. When they saw the terrifying abundance of Violet Cloud Crystals, their faces filled with shock—they understood this energy even better than Evan did.
“Young Master, what is this place? How can there be so many Violet Cloud Crystals? Did you bring us here to mine them?” the Fire Dragon couldn’t help asking.
“That’s right. I want you to help me dig up Violet Cloud Crystals. Of course, I know you can also absorb their energy—there’s so much here, feel free to take as much as you want. No need to hold back,” Evan said with a smile.
The thought of using four God-Venerable Realm experts to mine made Evan’s heart race with excitement. This was something unheard of in the God Realm…
