One Complete Lecher

Now it was Evan Yang's turn to get angry. How he dressed was his own business—he didn't care what others said about him. But when people insulted his friend, Evan instantly shot back, "Maybe you should take a look at yourself first." He grabbed Jax Jia and ignored the crowd, leaving the area just as he spotted the young man who'd been chased out.

Born into a privileged family, anyone who knew his identity treated him with respect and tried to please him. But this time, he had to gamble for something, and after winning, he ran into these two weirdos—he wanted to take them down right then and there.

But someone sensible nearby stopped him, saying, "Young master, lately there have been all sorts of strange people coming to the city. The old master doesn’t want you to stir up trouble."

"Who do you think you are, daring to talk to me like that?" The young master was annoyed and cursed the man out on the spot. He was about to rush after Evan Yang, but another attendant stopped him, "Young master, you’ve already offended one person—don’t go provoking anyone else."

"Damn it, are you the young master or am I?" He’d finally taught a cocky kid a lesson, and now these two clueless attendants were holding him back again—it just pissed him off.

Luckily, the two attendants only listened to their superiors, not this stubborn young lord, and managed to restrain him.

It wasn’t until Evan Yang, Jax Jia, and the young man had left that he finally broke free, but by then everyone was gone. He glared at his two attendants and stormed out of the gambling house, furious.

Meanwhile, Evan Yang was talking with the young man. The boy looked extremely upset and said, "That guy’s basically a robber."

"What exactly happened?" Evan Yang could tell that young master wasn’t a good person, so of course he sided with the boy.

"Honestly, it’s embarrassing. Just to win a little something, I ended up betting away my family heirloom." The more he spoke, the angrier he got.

With the young man's explanation, Evan Yang finally understood how the whole thing had happened.

The young man’s name was Ethan Lin, from the Lin Family. But after centuries of decline, he was the only survivor left in Skyline City. His family had only left him a Broken Heirloom Cauldron—not that he knew what it was for, but Ethan had carefully guarded it for years. Recently, Justin Wu, a young master from the Wu Family, took a fancy to it and wanted it for himself. He invited Ethan to the gambling house for a pill duel.

The Lin Family had always made a living through alchemy, so Ethan knew a bit about pill refining. He didn’t want much to do with Justin Wu, but the guy kept sending people to harass him. Not wanting to leave Skyline City, Ethan finally gave in. He lost the pill duel, but what shocked him wasn’t his own skills—it was that someone secretly interfered, making him lose control at the critical moment, causing his flames to go wild and ruining the batch.

Everyone thought Ethan just made a careless mistake, so he was declared the loser. That’s when he ran into Evan Yang and Jax Jia.

"You’re saying someone messed with you in secret?" Evan Yang asked, surprised and suspicious.

"Yeah, it must’ve been someone with a higher cultivation—at least Core-Formation stage. Otherwise, it wouldn’t have been so easy to shove me aside like that," Ethan Lin nodded.

"Justin Wu really is scum," Jax Jia cursed after hearing the story.

"Sigh, now I can’t even protect my family’s only possession. How am I supposed to face the Lin Family in the future?" Ethan Lin said weakly, looking like he’d lost all support.

"If it were me, I’d definitely teach that guy a lesson," Jax Jia said next to Evan Yang, then shot Evan a look—everyone knew he wanted Evan to deal with that arrogant pill-refining young master.

But in a city full of hidden dangers, Evan Yang wasn’t stupid enough to challenge someone outright. He shook his head and turned to Ethan Lin. "You don’t have any other family?"

"No, that's it. There's only one sect here, and they just turn a blind eye—they don't want trouble. The Wu Family doesn’t want to offend my sect either, so they made me gamble, taking my things in a 'fair' way," Ethan Lin said helplessly.

"Yeah, real 'fair,' huh!" Jax Jia snorted.

"Brother Lin, are you sure that heirloom isn’t anything special?" Evan Yang found it strange—a broken pill cauldron, yet a Wu Family young master was so obsessed with it.

"Well..." Ethan Lin looked embarrassed, even a little flushed.

Seeing something was off, Evan Yang pressed, "If there’s anything, just say it."

"You can use divine sense to look inside the cauldron—and you’ll see female figures," Ethan Lin admitted shyly.

"Female figures? What’s that about?" Jax Jia and Evan Yang asked at the same time.

Finally, Ethan Lin explained the cauldron’s strange secret. Inside, there was a small space, and most importantly, several lifelike women—looking almost alive, but untouchable.

The first time Justin Wu saw those women inside, he was captivated—so he challenged Ethan Lin to a pill duel and took the cauldron for himself.

Hearing about such a strange artifact, Evan Yang said, "That cauldron is really something. Didn’t your family leave any records about its powers or any hidden stories?"

Jax Jia muttered a few words: "What a pervert!"

Evan Yang and Ethan Lin knew Jax Jia was talking about Justin Wu, but for some reason it felt weird—almost like he was talking about them instead.

Sometimes Evan Yang really wondered if Jax Jia was actually a guy, but he wasn’t dumb enough to ask—so he just kept listening to Ethan Lin talk about the cauldron.

After a sudden accident involving the Lin Family head, the clan fell into chaos. Ethan Lin, who was originally at the sect, rushed home only to find everything changed. Except for the family’s secret chamber—which hadn’t been touched—everything else had been ransacked.

So with that battered cauldron sitting in the secret chamber, Ethan Lin had no idea what it was for or what secrets it held. All he knew was that the first time he used divine sense to check, he found a small space inside.

"If your father left that cauldron there, he must have had his reasons. Too bad you can’t find the secret chamber anymore," Evan Yang said regretfully.

"Maybe there’s a clue on the cauldron itself, but..." Ethan Lin wanted to study the cauldron, but now he didn’t even have the chance. His eyes were empty, lost in sadness.

"Han, are you really going to let a young man lose everything like this?" Jax Jia was clearly fascinated by the cauldron and wanted to see what it was all about.

Ethan Lin looked at Jax Jia and Evan Yang, confused. With both of them staring at him, Evan Yang finally said, "Let’s go take a look."

"Now that's a real man!" Jax Jia laughed loudly.

Ethan Lin stood up, confused. "Are you guys going to steal it?"

"Relax, kid. We're not dumb enough to steal here. If we take it back, it'll be fair and square!" Jax Jia was confident in Evan Yang, so he patted Ethan Lin’s shoulder and smiled.

Ethan Lin had no idea what Jax Jia meant, so he looked at them curiously.

"So, how do we find that guy?" Evan Yang asked Ethan Lin.

"You really want to go after him?" Ethan Lin still couldn’t believe it.

"What, you’re just going to let him take your heirloom?"

"Of course not, but he’s got a whole family behind him," Ethan Lin answered, still a bit timid.

"No worries. If he won from you fair and square, we’ll win it back fair and square. If his family has any real reputation, they won’t stoop so low," Jax Jia analyzed, impressing Evan Yang with his reasoning.

Convinced by Jax Jia, Ethan Lin explained that Justin Wu went to the gambling house every morning and evening to collect his winnings. Since the morning was over, they’d have to wait for the evening to challenge him. To prepare, Evan Yang spent the day in seclusion, focusing on his pill refining skills.

Jax Jia and Ethan Lin waited at the inn, not knowing what Evan Yang was up to. After nightfall, Evan finally emerged and the three headed to the gambling house. Ethan Lin was both scared and angry, while Jax Jia trusted Evan’s pill refining skills and only wanted to get the cauldron for research.

Evan Yang’s mood was unreadable, and the three entered the gambling house together.

They immediately spotted Justin Wu, pacing around with his two attendants, looking for something to profit from.

"What’s the procedure for a pill duel?" Evan Yang asked Ethan Lin, who’d already competed once.

"Just go to the counter, get a token, and put your wager down. Then both contestants enter a room for the duel—whoever loses leaves, the winner claims the prize from the manager. There’s a judge the whole time, and the fee is just ten low-grade crystal sources," Ethan Lin explained, glancing at Justin Wu nearby.

"That’s it?" Evan Yang was delighted to see no special ID was required.

"Yeah," Ethan Lin nodded.

Jax Jia couldn’t wait—he marched up to Justin Wu, "Hey, we’re challenging you to a pill duel!"

Justin Wu, bored until now, turned around and got angry when he saw them. "You guys have the nerve to show your faces here!"

"What, you want to fight right here?" Jax Jia replied with a fearless grin.

Sure enough, Justin Wu’s bravado faded. He sized up Jax Jia, then fixed his gaze on Evan Yang and Ethan Lin.

"What do you have to wager?" Justin Wu sneered, unimpressed by their appearance.

"Simple. This." Jax Jia pulled a piece of scrap metal from his pocket.

Justin Wu got angry on the spot when he saw it. "Kid, are you messing with me? You dare to wager a piece of scrap?"

"You must be blind!" Jax Jia said, channeling spiritual power into the palm-sized scrap, which glowed faintly purple.

"Purple Gold Iron!" someone exclaimed, drawing a crowd. Even the stunned Justin Wu realized its value and grinned, "You really want to bet with this?"

"Of course! Let’s see if you dare!" Jax Jia put away the Purple Gold Iron and smirked.

Justin Wu, used to bullying others, had never met someone so bold. He immediately asked, "Name your terms!"
