Journey to the Fire Temple

Bianca King's master said, "Yes, once Ice-fire awakens, we'll activate that formation."

The others nodded. They were all excited about the appearance of Ice-fire, while Evan Yang had no idea that Ice-fire would bring such changes to the Water Temple.

At this moment, Evan Yang was still sitting quietly with his eyes closed, waiting for time to pass.

Bianca King was cultivating, occasionally seeking advice from Evan Yang. Time flew by, and nearly a month passed in the blink of an eye. Evan got up and said to Lena King, "I have something to do, so I'll be leaving. See you when I have time."

"So soon? Where are you going? You're not allowed to leave," Lena King said.

"Even if you don't let me go, I still have to. Otherwise your sister will skin me alive," Evan Yang replied.

"My sister? What's it got to do with her?" Lena King asked curiously.

Evan Yang explained, "Your sister needs me for something. The time has come, so I have to go."

So Evan Yang got up and said goodbye to Lena King, knowing Bianca King was the one who summoned him. Lena was puzzled, so she gathered herself, grabbed the Spirit Monkey, and went off to find Bianca.

Evan Yang had just arrived at Bianca King's place and hadn't had a chance to say much when Lena King burst in behind him, pouting, "Sister, what are you two up to? How could you keep secrets from me?"

Bianca King hadn't expected Lena King to show up, so she smiled and said, "What brings you here?" Lena pouted, "Sister, you're hiding something from me." She eyed Evan Yang curiously, standing nearby.

"It's nothing, just a little task I need him to do," Bianca King replied with a smile.

"What task? I want to do it too! I'm pretty strong now," Lena King said.

Bianca King dreaded being pestered by her younger sister. Hearing this, she frowned and said, "Lena, this time it's really important. Just stay put in the palace, okay?"

"No, I'm not staying! If you don't tell me, I won't leave and I'll follow you forever. If you run off, I'll go straight to our master," Lena King insisted.

Bianca King sighed, "We're just going out to handle some things."

"I want to go too. If we go out, can I see lots of new things?" Lena King asked.

Bianca King gave in helplessly, "Fine, fine. But if you come, you have to listen to me in everything. Otherwise I'll send you right back."

"Yes, Sister!" Lena King replied happily.

Evan Yang hadn't expected Lena King to insist on coming along. He still didn't know where they were headed, but having her around was better than traveling with just Bianca King's cold face.

"Are you all ready? Then let's set off," Bianca King said.

Evan Yang and Lena King were both ready. Bianca King took out a spaceship-like spatial treasure, and Evan and Lena went inside. With a wave of her hand, Bianca made the ship vanish—it moved incredibly fast.

Flying through the void, the ship was far faster than any flying artifact Evan Yang had ever seen.

"What kind of treasure is this?" Evan Yang asked curiously.

"Space-jumping ship," Bianca King replied.

"Space-jumping ship?" Evan Yang repeated, confused.

Bored, Lena King explained, "A space-jumping ship can jump around in space. It's way faster than just flying."

Evan Yang seemed to understand a bit, then quietly asked, "How strong is your sister's cultivation?"

Lena King was startled by Evan Yang's direct question—she knew her sister's temper. But Bianca King just sat there motionless, as if she hadn't heard. Lena was puzzled; why was Bianca so tolerant of Evan, even bringing a newcomer out on a mission? It was very strange.

"Go ahead, she won't get mad," Evan Yang said.
