New Crisis for the Shadowhand Guild

"Since the Blue Clan Patriarch promised, I'll definitely tell you," Calvin Huang said with a casual laugh.

Then he relayed the matter to the Blue Clan Patriarch. When the Patriarch learned the true identity of the mastermind behind these assassins, he was truly shocked, but showed no fear at all. He just snorted coldly, "So what if it's them? Their sect doesn't even exist anymore, and they still dare to stir up trouble in my city!"

"Exactly," Calvin Huang replied with a laugh.

"But this information of yours is still way too expensive." The Blue Clan Patriarch was clearly reluctant to trade such a piece for mere intelligence.

"Blue Clan Patriarch, you can't put it that way. Everyone knows that sect hid a lot of good stuff back in the day. Maybe if you catch them, you'll find those great treasures—who knows, they might be worth even more than that piece you gave me." Calvin Huang sounded regretful.

"Enough, stop exaggerating. Legends are just legends. Who really knows what was in there back then? Otherwise, would you still be trading this info with me now? Maybe you've already investigated and made sure there's nothing left, so you decided to sell me the tip." The Blue Clan Patriarch cut him off with a cold laugh.

"Blue fellow, you really think too highly of me. Either way, I've told you what I know. Now, it's time to pay up." Calvin Huang felt a bit guilty inside—he really had investigated a lot. Outwardly he claimed it was to avoid drawing other families' attention, but deep down he understood perfectly: that sect was just an empty shell now, and anything truly valuable from back then was long gone.

The Blue Clan Patriarch wasn't the type to go back on his word—he immediately took out a black piece of something.

Calvin Huang took it and instantly sensed the dense spiritual energy within—it was even purer than top-grade Spirit Crystal Ore.

"Thanks," Calvin Huang said with a smile, then left. The Blue Clan Patriarch snorted behind him, muttering, "Trading for this kind of information... guess I'd better do something about it."

The Blue Clan Patriarch left the guest hall and found his younger brother, Benson Blue.

Seeing the Patriarch looking so grim, Benson Blue asked curiously, "What's wrong?"

"Stop studying that tower for now. There's something I need you to handle personally." At this moment, the Patriarch trusted no one more than his own younger brother, Benson Blue.

Benson Blue, sensing the seriousness, asked, "What is it?"

The Patriarch explained the situation to Benson Blue. After listening, Benson Blue questioned, "Didn't you already break that sect's defenses? The whole perimeter is guarded—how did they manage to get out?"

"How should I know how they got out? If I did, I wouldn't have wasted so many years breaking down that already ruined Immortal-grade formation." Hearing this, the Patriarch grew angry.

"This Shadowhand Guild really is strange. They've somehow escaped and set up such an organization. Looks like I'll have to go myself and capture their high-level members." Benson Blue mused.

"Go on, then. The Huang Clan says they're in that region. Once you're there, just arrest everyone you find. With your strength, they won't be able to resist." The Patriarch instructed Benson Blue.

"Alright, I'll head out now." Benson Blue nodded, then flashed away from the fortress.

"Shadowhand Guild, Shadowhand Guild... You've wasted so much of my time. Looks like you're determined to oppose us, just like Evan Yang." The Patriarch muttered coldly.
