I swallowed hard, watching the situation unfold. All I could do was keep retreating. Just then, a grain of sand brushed past my nose. My senses sharpened as I tried to turn, but I felt a hand press against my back. In an instant, the ghostly energy rushing toward me was repelled.
"It's best not to go over there. Things are getting dangerous now. I didn't expect those two to actually start fighting."
It was Zhang Xiaochun and the smiling Li Jiayuan. Soon, we rose into the air; I found myself sitting atop a soft mound of sand. We had reached the edge of Tony Tang's Shadow Realm.
At this moment, I noticed that the three Green Wraiths under Tony Tang, along with countless fierce and lesser ghosts, had all gathered at the edge of the Shadow Realm, staring in horror at everything before them.
"You all should wait outside. You can't handle the fighting in here."
Li Jiayuan said this, then with a whoosh, appeared before the crowd of ghosts. He raised a hand and punched the edge of the Shadow Realm, instantly breaking open a gap. The ghosts inside hurried out, while the Green Wraith who had just fought me stared at Li Jiayuan in confusion.
"This is an internal matter of the Hall of Bloodbane. The small fry can wait outside."
Soon, all the ghosts had left the Shadow Realm before it began to recover. The two men had already started fighting. This battle was even fiercer than the last; cracks appeared in the Shadow Realm, but it seemed a tremendous force was holding them in check from the outside.
With each clash, Dean Ding and Tony Tang refused to give ground. At this point, Dean Ding's strength seemed even greater. I couldn't sense his ghostly energy, but now Dean Ding had already suppressed Tony Tang.
With a loud bang, Tony Tang was slammed to the ground again. He stood up, his armor now cracked, and the seven triangular serrations on his spear were glowing red.
