The List

"You've met him before?" Leon Zane asked curiously.

At an inn near the Moonshadow Rift—he was traveling incognito.

"What was he doing in the Blue Moon Kingdom?" Leon Zane asked, puzzled. "Don't tell me..."

Could he really have come here for Grace?

He didn't dare say it out loud.

But Evan Xiao was thinking the same thing. His voice was cold and slow: "He and Grace knew each other before."

Back then, Grace's intense reaction definitely meant she recognized him.

And the next morning, he paid too much attention to Evan Xiao and Grace, even saying he'd gift them a Silver Dragon Stallion...

How did they meet?

When did they meet?

What exactly is the relationship between them?

Boom! Suddenly, thunder rumbled across the sky.

Leon Zane flinched and quickly said, "Your Highness, there's more good news! Really big news!"

Evan Xiao looked at his exaggerated expression with a calm face.

"On the day of the Royal Wedding Ceremony, Shan'er sensed something!" Leon Zane said.

"What?" Evan Xiao was quite surprised.

Leon Zane nodded, "In the Imperial Grand Hall, she sensed the presence of the Goddess through the sensing charm planted on Colin Gu. But..."

"But what?"

"That day, there were over 180 women in the Imperial Grand Hall—mistresses, maids, everyone. There's no way to tell who it was."

"Do you have the list?"

"Got it." Leon Zane handed the list of women from the Royal Wedding Ceremony to Evan Xiao. "I've been sorting this list for days. There shouldn't be any missing names now."

Evan Xiao took it and frowned deeply.

There were noble ladies from royal families, wives of high-ranking officials, palace maids, and all their attendants—the number was truly overwhelming.

"Why not just tie up Colin Gu and have him get close to each woman on the list, one by one?" Leon Zane suggested. "Forget about being subtle!"

Evan Xiao shook his head. "If we still can't find her, how will we keep hiding in the Blue Moon Kingdom?"

"Ugh, you're right! What do we do... Who could it be?" Leon Zane looked up at the sky, muttering and worrying.

Boom! Another clap of thunder.

The sky was still terrifyingly dark.

Leon Zane said worriedly, "Your Highness, you just killed Prince Sarnell, the sixth prince of the Qilin Clan. They're bound to send someone looking for him. You really need to keep your emotions in check!"

Evan Xiao glanced up at the sky, closed his eyes, and took a deep breath. The thunder and lightning gradually faded away.

Still, the sky remained gloomy.

"Your Highness, no matter what happened between her and Henry Tuoba, at least she stayed." Leon Zane continued to reassure him. "I heard she refused to leave with Henry Tuoba and even injured her own heart meridian—she's seriously hurt!"

"She hurt her heart meridian?" Evan Xiao frowned.

"Yeah! Though she probably did it for Colin Gu to see. But she really is hurt—last night, Colin Gu brought a Spiritual Alchemist to check on her."

Evan Xiao turned and left.

"Hey? Your Highness, where are you going?"

"Prime Minister's Residence."

Prime Minister's Residence, Rosewood Pavilion.

A servant came to report: the General was waiting outside, requesting an audience.

Minister Zhuo hurried out to greet him and led him inside.

"Prime Minister, sorry to bother you," Evan Xiao said.

"Long time no see, General!" Minister Zhuo said. "You took leave to visit your mentor—how is he doing?"

Because of the search for someone, and because his relationship with the Imperial Advisor and others had been exposed to Grace, Evan Xiao told her that they came from the Vermilion Kingdom.

But in the Blue Moon Kingdom, he actually had a fake identity.

He was born in a remote small town to an ordinary family. His parents died when he was young, and he grew up with his mentor, with no relatives.
