Fireshift, First Transformation of Ninefold Stellar Transformation
Evan Cross heard Luna's voice and immediately sensed trouble. He hurriedly looked away, but it was too late—a stabbing pain shot through his mind.
"Evan, does my body look good? How does it feel?" Luna's voice, sharp and full of gunpowder, echoed in his mind.
"Of course it looks good, but the price is a bit steep. Can you please stop tormenting me?" Evan said helplessly.
Luna was even more furious at his words. "Looks good, huh? Then I'll let you see enough!" With a flash of light, she dove straight into Evan's brow.
The splitting headache in Evan's mind grew even stronger, making him roll on the floor in pain. And as Luna entered his body, the crushing pressure of the Gravity Chamber came crashing down on him again.
"Luna, I swear it wasn't on purpose! Please don't be mad, okay? Besides, you'll be my woman sooner or later—are you really going to treat your man like this? What about your future sisters?" Evan pleaded.
Evan's words made Luna stop tormenting him. He was right—she would be his woman sooner or later, and her body would naturally belong to him. What she was doing now was a bit excessive, even if her status was extremely noble. Not even her own man should be treated this way.
Once the pain in Evan's mind vanished, the Gravity Chamber's pressure on his body barely registered anymore. The defensive power of the Fourth Layer of Starforge Body was truly terrifying—now, even without circulating Stellar Power, he could withstand it easily.
"Luna, don't be mad anymore. Hurry and teach me Fireshift, the First Transformation of Ninefold Stellar Transformation. Don't you want me to get stronger?" Evan said immediately.
After a long silence, Luna finally said, "I'll let you off this time. But if it happens again, I'll make you suffer for three days and three nights."
After Luna finished speaking, a flood of strange information suddenly surged through Evan's mind—all of it the cultivation formula for Fireshift, the First Transformation.
Evan found the formula incredibly profound. He stared at it for ages and still couldn't make sense of it, so he couldn't help but ask, "What kind of writing is this? Why can't I understand any of it?"
"It's ancient seal-script, of course you don't understand. If you weren't destined to help restore my body someday, I wouldn't bother explaining. Take out the Fire Spirit Pearl first, then slowly try to sense the mysteries of fire element inside." Luna said.
Evan immediately took out the Fire Spirit Pearl from his storage ring, placed it in his palm, and began to observe its internal changes.
The Fire Spirit Pearl radiated a faint warmth. When Evan sent his spiritual sense inside, he found its internal world was totally different from the outside—if a person actually entered, they'd be annihilated in an instant.
Inside, fire-element particles leapt and danced nonstop, like flames of a raging inferno—filling him with a sense of overwhelming power.
Evan stared for a long time without discovering anything, so he asked Luna, "Luna, I really can't see any mystery in this fire element. Why don't you just explain it to me?"
"You have to rely on yourself for everything. Only by truly comprehending the real nature of fire element can you master it and refine the Fire Spirit Pearl. You know how terrifying the energy inside is—one wrong move and you'll be injured or even killed." Luna warned.
Hearing this, Evan felt even more pressure. Having to comprehend the fire element on purpose was no small task. Just as he was about to speak, Luna added, "Use your heart to feel it—only then can you truly understand. Remember how you grasped the wind element before? It's the same for fire. I believe you can do it."
After Luna's words, Evan seemed to understand something. Though the Gravity Chamber's pressure hadn't changed, it barely affected him now.
He slowly recalled that subtle feeling from when he first comprehended the wind element. Now, combining it with the fire element, Evan felt like he was grasping something—but it was still hazy, not a true understanding.
Fire element can radiate light and heat. As long as you master this, you can truly control it. With this insight, Evan used his spiritual sense to feel the light and heat inside the Fire Spirit Pearl.
His entire mind immersed itself in the Fire Spirit Pearl. Evan felt as if he were standing inside a sea of fire, beset by unbearable waves of heat.
As time passed, he realized the leaping of the fire-element particles actually followed a precise rhythm. Suddenly, an idea struck him, and he withdrew his spiritual sense, muttering to himself:
"So that's the nature of fire element—violent, restless, completely different from the calm and gentle wind element!"
"Evan, you really have talent. In less than a day, you've already grasped the true nature of fire element. Now, slowly channel Chaos Force into the Fire Spirit Pearl, then circulate the Fireshift formula to refine it." Luna instructed.
Once you fully refine the Fire Spirit Pearl, your First Transformation will be complete. You'll experience its true power then. But remember—the energy inside is terrifyingly violent. You have to proceed gradually, or the pain will be unbearable," Luna warned.
Luna then explained the key points of Fireshift to Evan. He couldn't read the ancient seal-script at all, but Luna's explanation made everything clear. He began channeling Chaos Energy into his fingertip, preparing to break open the Fire Spirit Pearl.
Normally, not even ten Evans could break it open. But after comprehending the fire element, he could easily pierce it by following the rhythm of the fire-element particles inside.
As soon as he broke open the Fire Spirit Pearl, a wave of scorching heat nearly engulfed him. Even with the defense of the Fourth Layer of Starforge Body, Evan felt as if he was standing in a blazing inferno.
