Sean Shaw brought the Clarity Charm up to Drake Abyss.

"Oh..." Henry Xiao's eyes flickered. "By the way, you went to see Baxa and Clearpool, right? What happened?"

Sean said, "All the妖 who’ve gathered under Baxa have relatives held hostage by the Xuanchen Clan. They’re forced to pay tribute every year, losing everything just to meet the demands. And because of these harsh yearly levies, many妖 are driven to crime—burning, killing, and looting."

The Celestial Emperor frowned, "So Baxa attacked the Xuanchen Clan for this reason?"
