The Legend of the Naked Run of the Rich Second Generation
The subway platform and the shopfronts lining both sides of the street were packed with people changing clothes; the streets themselves were filled with folks already in their athletic gear, jogging back and forth to warm up or loosen their joints, encouraging each other. For the sake of the race, several nearby districts had implemented temporary road closures, and all traffic had come to a halt.
A light rain began to fall from the sky, bringing an unusual chill to the summer air and making everything feel damp; on Tai Mo Shan in the New Territories, there was even frost. Many people calmly put on raincoats, while others simply blew on their hands and remained unfazed. The air was thick with a spirit of athletic excitement.
The Hong Kong Standard Chartered International Marathon featured three main events: the full marathon, the half marathon, and the ten-kilometer run, each with several categories. To minimize the impact on traffic, the races began gradually from around 5 a.m.
At 5 a.m., the sky was still dark, but the crowd at the starting point was already packed and stretched as far as the eye could see. The Hong Kong Marathon is probably one of the earliest starting marathons in the world. The Chief Executive of Hong Kong joined the athletes, enthusiastically shaking hands and offering encouragement. Starting from 5:45, he fired the starting gun three times within an hour, kicking off the ten-kilometer, half marathon, and full marathon events.
The purpose of the Hong Kong Standard Chartered International Marathon is to encourage everyone in the city to participate, so the number of entrants is always huge—this year, it’s a record-breaking crowd of over 50,000! After the runners set off, the route was lined with cheering spectators, and participants from all generations—old, middle-aged, and young—came together. Some families even formed running squads, with younger members leading their elders along with ropes. Many people jogged at a relaxed pace with headphones on, enjoying music in the breeze from Victoria Harbour.
But the runners were quickly shocked to discover that, somewhere amidst the massive crowd, a group of nearly naked young men and women had suddenly joined the race! There were more than a hundred of them, all with strange, expressionless faces. The guys were bare-chested, wearing nothing but the tiniest briefs, while the girls were stunningly beautiful—many of them blonde foreigners—dressed in sexy bikinis, some even in micro-thongs, with jaw-dropping figures!
As soon as these nearly naked young men and women showed up, they immediately became the center of attention along the route, with spectators turning their heads to gawk.
Especially with those sexy, gorgeous, and curvy beauties joining in, even more eyes were glued to the scene. Plenty of male spectators couldn’t help but run along just to catch a glimpse of the enticing bounce of their chests.
This group of young men and women dashed through the chilly morning wind, running with such energy that they left many of the official competitors behind. Thanks to their eye-catching performance, spectators whipped out their phones and cameras to film them. Even the reporters covering the live broadcast noticed these ‘standout’ runners, and as the crowd and journalists got a closer look at their faces, they began to recognize who these ‘contestants’ really were.
"Wow, isn’t that Charlie Hu, the heir to Quan Heng Foods? He’s running too! Damn, I thought all he did was chase girls, but turns out he’s got some serious energy!"
"Whoa! Holy crap... Isn’t that the precious son of Skyward Group’s chairman, Zhou Qitai? Look at him—so chubby, all his meat jiggling as he runs, but he’s surprisingly fast! Guess you really can’t judge a book by its cover."
"Oh my god! That’s Samuel Chan, the heir to Starlink International. He always seemed so refined in the papers and on TV. I never imagined he’d be this trendy—totally blows my mind!"
"Wow, wow, check it out! Get ready for a nosebleed, folks—a bunch of busty babes are running this way! My god, their bodies are unreal!"
"I—I’m shocked, I’m just totally blown away. Look, everyone, this is the real headline—Grandtech Corporation! That’s Mason Xu, the heir! Holy crap! The playboy prince is setting the fashion trend today! His outfit is making me think of a cross between Superman and Batman! So creative! And he’s running ridiculously fast! Did he take some kind of energy booster?"
Sure enough, Mason Xu was running at a near-insane, unbelievable speed, passing countless competitors. But that wasn’t even the most eye-catching thing—his outfit was totally outrageous. He wore a glittering gold women’s bra on his head, had a pair of pink Playboy mini panties on each arm, and was shirtless, with a patch of fake black chest hair stuck to his chest. The crowd instantly went wild when they saw him, and camera flashes lit up the route. Mason was hyped, sprinting ahead and quickly taking the lead.
The reporters covering the live event suddenly switched gears, turning into entertainment journalists, chasing after Mason Xu and his ‘barely-dressed squad’ like paparazzi, desperately trying to keep their cameras trained on them and broadcast every moment live!
The race started near the Miramar Hotel on Nathan Road in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, then followed Austin Road, Canton Road, up to the West Kowloon Highway and the Cheung Ching Tunnel, turned around at the Tsing Ma Bridge and Ting Kau Bridge, then went through the Western Harbour Tunnel, Island’s Lin Shi Street flyover, Pedder Street tunnel, Harcourt Road flyover, Tim Mei Avenue, and Fenwick Pier Street. The finish line was at Golden Bauhinia Square in Wan Chai.
Originally, the Kenyan runners in the leading pack were way ahead, and barring any surprises, the prize money was practically theirs. But soon, they were shocked to see a group of nearly naked young men and women chasing them at incredible speed. The Kenyans panicked, digging deep and running for their lives, trying to put some distance between themselves and these bizarre competitors.

No matter how hard they tried, the Kenyan runners just couldn’t shake off this group of nearly naked young men and women. Instead, they had to watch helplessly as these barely-clothed athletes sped past them. The Kenyans were so frustrated they could puke, but no matter how desperately they chased, they just couldn’t catch up. With the finish line at Golden Bauhinia Square getting closer, the gap between them and the naked runners kept growing.
The crowd at the finish line went wild, camera flashes lit up the area, and Mason Xu sprinted across the finish in a frenzy. The big group of nearly naked young men and women quickly followed, but to everyone’s surprise, they didn’t stop—instead, they kept running straight ahead until one by one, they slammed right into the iron barrier at the end.
"Thud! Thud!" Starting with Mason Xu, each of the nearly naked young men and women crashed into the iron barrier, and every single one had the same reaction: after hitting it, they collapsed straight to the ground, completely unconscious.
Chaos broke out on the scene. The doctors and nurses waiting nearby rushed over, ready to carry them to the ambulances. But to everyone’s surprise, except for Mason Xu—the first to cross the finish—all the nearly naked young men and women started waking up one by one. Sitting on the cold ground, they began shouting loudly…
"Wha—how did I get here? Where are my clothes and pants? Who the hell took them!?"
"Ah! Ah! Oh god, it’s so cold—how did I end up here? And dressed like this! Don’t film me! Move the camera away!"
"You guys? What’s going on? And what happened to me? Quick, does anyone have a phone? I need to call someone to bring me clothes—I want to go home, I’m freezing!"
"Was I robbed or something? And now all these people are staring at me—oh god, how am I ever going to show my face again?"
As the young men and women regained their senses and saw the crowd gawking at them, they started cursing loudly, covering their faces and trying to hide. But the entertainment reporters were already swarming in, pointing countless cameras at them.
But these young men and women weren’t pushovers. They immediately charged into the crowd of reporters, grabbing at their equipment. The journalists fought back to protect their gear, and in no time, the scene turned into a chaotic brawl. After a long commotion, the police finally arrived and gradually managed to calm this sensational Hong Kong-Kowloon farce.
Shawn Young and the others only found out about what happened at Golden Bauhinia Square afterward, because by then they had already landed ashore and returned to Elite English Academy. But Shawn wouldn’t be staying long—Sasaki Ryoko, who had been missing for days, suddenly reappeared, bringing Shawn a surprising and shocking piece of news.
