Looking at the embarrassed Kevin Guan, Ian Song smiled slightly. "You don't have anything to say now, do you?"
Landon Lu looked at him and asked.
"Cuff him and take him away." Ian Song waved his hand.
Immediately, two Special Police officers stepped forward, intending to cuff Kevin Guan.
"Get lost!"
Kevin Guan glared coldly at the two Special Police officers, then turned to Ian Song and said, "Landon Lu, I’m not afraid to tell you, I came to Mesa City just to cause trouble on purpose. Now that you’ve exposed me, consider yourself lucky. But let me tell you, you might escape once, but you won't escape twice. One day, I’ll kill you. Competing with me for a woman—what do you think you are?"
Landon Lu said indifferently, "So what? Even if the Federal President committed a crime here, I would still arrest him. Let alone you, you're just a lieutenant colonel."
"Ha!"
Landon Lu smiled and glanced at the two Special Police officers.
The more he spoke, the more smug and arrogant Kevin Guan became.
"That's right, cuff these people as well!" Landon Lu pointed at the six soldiers he had hypnotized.
Ian Song looked at him and asked.
"Madam Spring, please rise. I promise to give you and Spring Moon Tavern justice!" Landon Lu helped her up and assured her.
"If you're done, then come with me to the Special Police base for questioning. Cuff him and take him away!"
"Wait!"
Kevin Guan suddenly shouted, "Landon Lu, didn't you hear what I just said? Arresting me is just asking for trouble. Are you a blockhead, still trying to arrest me at this point!"
Ian Song said indifferently, "So what? Even if the Federal President committed a crime here, I would still arrest him. Let alone you, you're just a lieutenant colonel."
"Fine! Very well!" Kevin Guan nearly gritted his teeth to pieces. "Since you want to arrest me, I'll let you. Let's see who suffers in the end!"
Ian Song smiled and glanced at the two Special Police officers.
The officers quickly took out handcuffs and cuffed Kevin Guan.
"That's right, cuff these people as well!" Ian Song pointed at the six soldiers he had hypnotized.
At that moment, Madam Spring walked out of the private room, her cheek still bearing fresh red fingerprints. She knelt down and pleaded, "Minister Lu, you must stand up for us common folk!"
After loading Kevin Guan and the others into the Special Police patrol cars, Landon Lu prepared to return to the base.
"Thank you, Minister Lu." Madam Spring's voice was choked with sobs.
Soon, the Special Police escorted Kevin Guan and the others out of Spring Moon Tavern. The onlookers were amazed, especially the native Celestians on this planet, who found it almost unbelievable.
"Minister, what should we do?" Seeing the array of cannons, Ryan nervously asked Landon Lu.
"Land first!" Landon Lu said calmly.
"Maybe it's just for show," scoffed a native youth.
"What do you know!" interjected a sharp-eyed middle-aged man. "The military is proud, how could they cooperate with Special Police for a staged act? I heard the Special Police base just got a new young minister. It must be him—young and full of spirit, that's why he dared to arrest these soldiers!"
"That minister really is a good official, willing to stand up for us!" said a middle-aged woman.
"They're all the same," someone snorted.
A clean-cut young man sneered.
Landon Lu also led Ryan and the others out of the patrol car.
Unexpectedly, just as they flew out of Old Street, several armored military vehicles rushed in, extending a dense array of cannons aimed at the two Special Police patrol cars.
"You have ten seconds to land, or bear the consequences!" a harsh voice sounded.
"Minister, what should we do?" Seeing the array of cannons, Ryan nervously asked Ian Song.
"Land first!" Ian Song said calmly.
Under the encirclement of five armored vehicles, the two Special Police patrol cars landed on the ground.
The last sentence was directed at Landon Lu.
"You’re right. You broke the law in Mesa City, so I have every right to arrest you and bring you in for questioning!" Landon Lu then looked at Zhou Zhenqi. "And you—using military force to intimidate the Special Police into releasing a criminal. If you weren’t in uniform, I’d think you were a bandit!"
The previous voice sounded again.
Zhou Zhenqi stared at Landon Lu, his eyes cold and sharp.
Landon Lu said calmly, "You heard me. The separation of military and government is not just talk. The Special Police may not be as strong as the military, but we belong to the government. If your military interferes with us exercising our authority, it violates that policy. Not even a general would dare bear that charge, let alone a colonel. So, are you still going to force me to release him?"
The handcuffed Kevin Guan saw the young man and immediately smiled confidently. "Colonel Zhou, you’re a bit late—look, I’ve already been cuffed like a criminal!"
As he spoke, he deliberately raised his cuffed hands.
"Secret mission? You mean the mission to capture Cao Yun?" Landon Lu sneered.
Zhou Zhenqi’s eyes grew cold as he stared at Ian Song. "Remove Colonel Guan’s handcuffs, now."
Seeing Kevin Guan’s reaction, Zhou Zhenqi realized something was wrong and sighed inwardly. He addressed Landon Lu again, now in a much softer tone: "Minister Lu, can we discuss this?"
The last sentence was directed at Ian Song.

"And you—using military force to intimidate the Special Police into releasing a criminal. If you weren’t in uniform, I’d think you were a bandit!"
"What did you say?"
Zhou Zhenqi stared at Ian Song, his eyes cold and sharp.
Ian Song said calmly, "You heard me. The separation of military and government is not just talk. The Special Police may not be as strong as the military, but we belong to the government. If your military interferes with us exercising our authority, it violates that policy. Not even a general would dare bear that charge, let alone a colonel. So, are you still going to force me to release him?"
"You...!"
The heavy accusation left Zhou Zhenqi speechless. After a moment, he shouted, "Stop trying to pressure me with policy! Colonel Guan was on a secret mission. Even if he broke the law, it’s understandable, and any punishment should be handled by the military!"
"Secret mission? You mean the mission to capture Cao Yun?" Ian Song sneered.
Zhou Zhenqi instinctively glanced at Kevin Guan, noticing his flushed face.
