Fire That Burns Everything

2/14/2026

Evan Lin stood before Night Spring, the surrounding petals already vanished without a trace.

The surging force that had been raging moments ago suddenly faded away completely.

"You..."

Night Spring listened to Evan Lin's words, her expression shifting again and again.

She was still in disbelief—no one had ever crossed over so easily, and judging by this guy’s demeanor, the Spring Gate hadn’t even scratched him!

"If you won’t come down, I’ll send you down myself."

Without another word, Evan Lin extended a finger and flicked it through the air at Night Spring, who stood there.

Instantly, a sharp burst of force pierced through the air, speeding straight toward Night Spring.

"You think just a single finger is enough to make me step down from the formation’s core?"

Night Spring’s face darkened, her voice biting: "You really underestimate me!"

As soon as she spoke, a layer of pink force surged up around her.

The force wrapped her whole body completely.

After activating the Spring Gate, Night Spring could barely move freely, but the force around her erupted instantly.

The pink force gathered into a barrier, wrapping her up entirely.

"Isn’t that the same barrier they just used to block Master Lin from Seacrest’s blue qi chains?"

"Looks like it, yeah."

Those blue qi chains kept hammering it, but never managed to break through—the barrier’s strength is obvious!

The faces of those nearby changed dramatically as they watched.

Earlier, Night Spring and the others had used this exact defense to perfectly withstand the bombardment from the qi chains.

But now, the force Evan Lin flicked out with his finger looked even weaker than those qi chains from before.

At the very least, it didn’t look nearly as intimidating as those qi chains.

"He’s way too confident, if you ask me."

The steward took a deep breath. "That barrier isn’t something just any force can break."

"Interesting."

From afar, Blake Lin watched with a hint of curiosity.

Logan Lu glanced at the phone timer on the table—fifteen seconds had passed since Evan Lin entered the array.

There had been countless attacks in those fifteen seconds, but he’d endured them all.

But now, looking at the situation...

It seemed Master Lin from Seacrest might need a bit more time to break the first formation.

"How long do you think he’ll take to break through this formation core?"
