Fire Temple Pursuit

2/27/2026

Ignace Blaze looked at Evan Yang and sneered, "Kid, you really are strong. If you could be used by me, that would be great. But in the end, we're not the same kind of people. So you must die, or you'll be a huge threat to me!"

"So the Flame Temple Palace Lord has another identity." Evan Yang smiled.

"You can still smile at a time like this? You really have guts. But that doesn't mean you'll live. Go die!" Ignace Blaze roared.

Just then, a burst of flame suddenly appeared behind Ignace Blaze, injuring him. Ignace was shocked—he never expected fire to strike from behind.

At that moment, Evan Yang received a sound transmission: "Quick, go! There's an exit under this Sacred-Flame Furnace."

Without hesitation, Evan rushed beneath the Sacred-Flame Furnace. The elder inside looked pale, but smiled at Evan and said, "No matter what, you must persevere. Walk your path well."

Evan felt as if he had entered a tunnel. He had no idea where this spatial tunnel would lead.

Very soon, Evan found himself in the starry void, surrounded by unfamiliar planets. He took out his Transmission Stone and contacted Bianca King.

Bianca King, who had originally been at the Flame Temple, suddenly received Evan's urgent message and immediately left without lingering for even a moment.

Meanwhile, Ignace Blaze quickly recovered from his injuries in the secret chamber. He glared at the Sacred-Flame Furnace and cursed, "Damn you, old man! You actually ruined my plans!"

"Even though you've tampered with the Sacred-Flame Furnace, I can still launch some attacks. Do you really think you can act as you did before?" the elder laughed.

"Old man, you actually hid a spatial tunnel under the Sacred-Flame Furnace and never told me!" Ignace Blaze raged.

"That's called keeping a trump card. If I hadn't kept it hidden, you would've found it long ago. Now I've blocked the spatial tunnel. Let's see how you find him now!" the elder sneered.

"Hmph, as long as the Sacred-Flame Furnace doesn't move, you can't move either. I'll go out and hunt him down—I'll kill him!" Ignace Blaze roared.

"He's the Ice-fire Successor. He'll definitely be protected by the Water Temple. I advise you to give up," the elder said kindly.

"Water Temple? Don't forget, I control the Flame Temple now too. If I want, I can make the two temples go to war! In the end, you'll both suffer losses. If possible, I'll stir up chaos in several palaces. Even if I can't kill Evan Yang, I'll make sure all your palaces are ruined." Ignace Blaze sneered.

"Despicable!" the elder inside the Sacred-Flame Furnace shouted angrily.

"Just stay here," Ignace Blaze snorted coldly, then left. He went to the palace, and after seeing Bianca King had left, he immediately summoned the Fire Walker.

When the Fire Walker arrived and saw Ignace Blaze bearing injuries, he looked suspicious. Ignace Blaze said, "That Evan Yang is too outrageous. He actually dared to steal our Flame Temple's Fire Fiend Essence!"

"What?" The Fire Walker was shocked.

This was exactly the effect Ignace Blaze wanted. Fire Fiend Essence is the Flame Temple's most important origin. If it were taken, the Flame Temple's planets would become unstable, eventually disappearing. The core fire source would vanish too.

Ignace Blaze shouted angrily, "Quick, give the order—take people to the Water Temple and make them hand over Evan Yang!"

"I'll go notify them right away." The Fire Walker realized this was serious and hurried off.

Ignace Blaze sneered, "Ignorant fools. Only one person knows where Fire Fiend Essence is. How would I know? I'm just tricking you all."

As for Evan Yang, he had no idea about the Flame Temple's situation. At that moment, he was waiting on a planet until Bianca King appeared and asked, "How did you get here?"

"Palace Lord Bianca, what I'm about to say is very important. You must listen carefully," Evan Yang said.

Bianca King was suspicious, not knowing what had happened or why Evan was so anxious to leave.

Regardless of the situation, Evan explained everything. After Bianca King heard it, she was shocked. "What? You're saying Ignace Blaze's current body isn't his own?" "That's right," Evan replied.

"Damn it, how could this happen!" Bianca King exclaimed, furious and shocked.

"Judging by what he said, it sounds like back then, Ignace Blaze was hunted by others and ended up killing them instead," Evan said.

"That really did happen." At this moment, Bianca King felt as if some danger was drawing near.

"Who is he?" Evan Yang frowned, seeing Bianca King's uneasy expression.

"He's one of the Demon’s Claws," Bianca King replied.

"Demon’s Claws?" Evan Yang didn’t know what kind of person could be called a demon, or what kind of person qualified as a claw.

"I don't have time to explain right now. Hurry back to the Water Temple—Ignace Blaze probably already sent people there. He wants your life, and you know too much. Without evidence, no one will suspect he's not himself," Bianca King said worriedly.

Evan Yang nodded, then rushed with Bianca King to the Water Temple. As soon as they arrived, Bianca ordered the Water Temple to halt all entry and exit.

When the Water Temple received this order, everyone was curious—what could require such strict instructions?

Bianca King had Evan Yang stay on a mountain within the Water Temple, while she left alone.

She arrived at a sea surface, spoke a command, and the area opened up. Bianca entered a cave, where she saw the same woman as last time.

The woman looked at Bianca King suspiciously. "Why are you here again? What's happened?"

"The situation is serious. I hope Master will decide," Bianca King said.

"Speak," Bianca King's master said, frowning.

Bianca King explained everything. After her master heard it, she was shocked. "Are you sure this is true?"

"Yes, it's true," Bianca King replied.

"That Demon’s Claw has really stretched far enough!" Bianca King's master snorted coldly.

"How can we keep Evan Yang safe? Right now, nobody would believe him—they’d rather trust Ignace Blaze," Bianca King said.

"To expose Ignace Blaze, we have to defeat him. But to beat him, we'll need several strong experts. That's not my main worry," Bianca King's master said.

"Then what are you worried about, Master?" Bianca King asked, puzzled.

"If the real Ignace Blaze was killed, it means that person is extremely strong. And that's just a Demon’s Claw. I'm afraid the Water Temple might also have such infiltrators. If we make a move, several palaces might end up fighting—and that’s exactly their trap," Bianca King's master said.

"Then what should we do, Master?" Bianca King asked.

"Act as if we don't know anything about it," Master Serena Tide replied.

"What?" Bianca King exclaimed.

"Ignace Blaze will definitely try to find Evan Yang and frame him. You must get Evan out of the Water Temple. When his Ice-fire seal is undone, let him return—then he'll be able to confront Ignace Blaze himself," Master Serena Tide said.

Bianca King was stunned—she hadn't expected her master to think so far ahead. She nodded, "Alright, I'll arrange it right away."

Watching Bianca King leave, Master Serena Tide muttered, "That kid is also the Sacred Flame Successor. How did things get so complicated? Sigh."

After Bianca King left, Evan Yang departed as well. He went to the Netherfire region, looked around, and said, "Mother, I'm taking you away now."

Evan Yang understood better than anyone how important his situation was. If he handled it poorly, chaos could erupt among the three palaces. Now, his priority was to leave—and to take his mother with him.

That's why Evan Yang came here, starting to break the formation. Naturally, this attracted Bianca King's arrival.

"Why did you come here alone?" Bianca King asked.

"Palace Lord Bianca, didn't you promise that after my trial, you'd let me in?" Evan Yang said.

At such a critical moment, Evan Yang still wanted to enter. Bianca King sighed, "The situation is urgent—you must leave the Water Temple, as soon as possible."

"Let me in first, then I'll leave," Evan Yang said.

"But..." Bianca King knew every moment Evan Yang stayed was a risk.

"Let me in," Evan Yang insisted.

After struggling internally, Bianca King finally said, "Alright, but hurry." She lifted the barrier and let Evan Yang in, urging, "The sooner the better!"

Evan Yang nodded. Bianca King had just sent him in and watched him disappear when she received word that Flame Temple people had arrived.

"Damn, they're here so fast." Bianca King knew she had to stall for time to help Evan Yang.

Before leaving, Bianca King shouted down, "Hurry up and go!" Then she flashed away.

Evan Yang heard her voice above but paid little attention. He went deeper, seeing black and red flames all around.

"Is this the Netherfire?" Evan Yang wondered to himself. He found the flames terrifying, but fortunately, after the Sacred Flame had ascended at Skyfire Cliff, Evan could withstand them. With the protection of Ice-fire, he moved easily below.

"Where could she be imprisoned?" Evan wondered, activating his Night Eyes.

Like a beast prowling in the darkness, he kept descending, not knowing where it would lead.

After leaving, Bianca King headed to her usual palace in the Water Temple, though it was really just a mountain.

At that moment, the planet was surrounded by many people—one side from the Water Temple, the other from the Flame Temple.

Ignace Blaze led the Flame Temple group.

Ignace Blaze frowned at Bianca King. "Palace Lord Bianca, please bring Evan Yang out."

"Evan Yang? Didn't you take him away?" Bianca King exclaimed.

"Stop pretending. He stole our things and ran. He's definitely here with you," Ignace Blaze said.

"Palace Lord Ignace, what do you mean? And what did he steal from you? Why bring so many people to the Water Temple?" Bianca King asked, frowning.

Ignace Blaze snorted, "The Flame Temple's Fire Fiend Essence. He stole it!"

"Fire Fiend Essence?" Bianca King hadn't expected Ignace Blaze to use that as an excuse, but she quickly calmed herself. "I don't know where he is, but I'd like to know if Palace Lord Ignace has any evidence. I don't want anyone from our palace doing such things."

"Evidence? Just bring him out and confront me," Ignace Blaze said.

"A confrontation? If he comes out, he might be killed," Bianca King cursed inwardly.
