As the peak Great-Class Specter Mu Sam, he has long harbored resentment toward Andrew Han and has meticulously plotted to kill him. Yet, with only his own ghostly strength, it has been nearly impossible to strike down Andrew within Sinovera's borders.
Even more so now.
After Andrew shattered the East Sea, displaying his ability to instantly kill Great-Class Specters, Mu Sam became even more cautious, refining his plans countless times.
Only now, after gathering a host of Great-Class Demons and Great-Class Specters, does he move to encircle and kill Andrew Han, the martial artist of Sinovera.
"Heh heh."
"Whether or not you are prepared, this time we will kill you. There is no escape, neither in heaven nor on earth!" Mu Sam's scarlet eye flashed with a ferocious gleam, a chilling murderous intent permeating the air.
The desolate mountain valley, once tranquil, now felt sinister and ghastly.
Besides Mu Sam, there were five shifting, enigmatic shadows—all Great-Class Specters—and nine savage, brutal Great-Class Demons. Gathered together, this force could easily annihilate a province of Sinovera.
Of course.
Every province in Sinovera has its own Law Realm guardian; they do not wish to provoke the wrath of humanity's Law Realm.
"Correct."
"If we kill only Andrew Han... killing him alone is equivalent to wiping out an entire province of Sinovera." Mu Sam's bloodshot eye slowly turned, fermenting endless murderous intent.
He has returned from the Anglo-French Union for one reason only: to avenge the annihilation of the Mu Clan.
But to call it vengeance is too weak—it is more like erasing humiliation. The Mu Clan was wiped out as mere food, an intolerable blood-deep disgrace.
The other Specters all voiced agreement, their ghostly tones drifting through the valley.
"Mu Sam is right."
"To the martial world of Sinovera, Andrew Han holds symbolic significance. If he dies, it will surely throw the entire martial world into chaos."
"Not only that. Andrew Han is the leader of the younger generation, a member of both the Martial Arts Alliance and the Titled Sequence. His death may provoke consequences even fiercer than we anticipate."
These ghostly shadows encircled them, like a mournful, unspeakable chorus of spectral wailing.
Even the faintest leak of ghost power made the desolate mountains all the more lifeless and cold; not even sunlight from the sky could touch these Great-Class Specters.
