"That's right, this is the Divine Origin Pill. Our boss, the Dragon King, sent me here to deliver it. With a treasure like this, you can tell how much he values our friendship, can't you?" Eagle King said, tossing the pill over. But even as he spoke and acted, he couldn't help biting his lip as he let go—clearly, parting with this god-tier pill hurt.
The Divine Origin Pill—a legendary god-tier medicine that can push a Saint King into the God Realm. You can't buy it anywhere, no matter how much you offer. Hector Fujita has been searching for one forever, but even after scouring all of Japan, he came up empty. Sure, he wanted to try his luck in Huaxia, land of endless wonders, but no matter how many spies he sent in, finding a pill like this was just impossible!
And now, right before the showdown with Ryan Ling, someone actually shows up and hands him this insane windfall. Hector's honestly shocked and delighted.
"Eagle King, what does the Dragon King want me to do?" Hector Fujita, sharp as ever, immediately leaned in and asked.
"Simple. Just one little request—kill Ryan Ling, completely. Leave him no chance to survive. Can you do it?" Eagle King leaned in too, voice low.
"Hahaha, I know Ryan Ling is called a Saint in Jiangnan, and he's your World Dominion Society's enemy. But now he's become Huaxia's national hero. So, you want to borrow my sword to finish him off, huh? High-level move!" Hector Fujita sneered, eyes full of killing intent.
"Sword Saint, I don't need to say anything else. This Divine Origin Pill should be enough for you to kill him ten thousand times over, right?" Eagle King said, gritting his teeth as he looked at Hector.
"No problem. With the Divine Origin Pill, I'll break into the God Realm and crush him—easy!" Hector burst out laughing. Ever since WWII, Japan hasn't seen a God Realm powerhouse. Now that Chiba Shrine is destroyed and most experts are gone, if Hector makes the breakthrough and kills that troublemaker Ryan Ling, the whole country will treat him as a living "god." If he rebuilds Chiba Shrine, he'll be the sole deity—maybe even the emperor will have to kneel before him!
"Good, good, good!" Eagle King repeated, then added, "But Ryan Ling's tricky as hell. His power's skyrocketed lately, and he's gutsy enough to challenge you, Sword Saint. He definitely has some backing. To make sure you finish him for good, don't rush the breakthrough—wait until mid-duel, then suddenly ascend. That's your best shot to stun him and wipe him out!"
"Hahaha, everyone says Eagle King is the brains of the World Dominion Society, Dragon King's right-hand man. No wonder—first lull Ryan Ling, then go all out and crush him. The kid's got zero chance!" Hector said, giving a big thumbs-up.
"Haha, I'm only thinking of you, Sword Saint. This time, if you strike, make it foolproof—leave nothing to chance, am I right?" Eagle King smiled slyly, eyes full of scheming.
"Alright, after we wipe out that punk tomorrow, I'll show you all of Japan. Whatever you want—people or things—if I can give it, it's yours!" Hector Fujita grinned wickedly.
"Since Sword Saint says so, I won't hold back. I hear your country just crowned a new imperial beauty, a real national treasure..." Eagle King teased, and Hector burst out laughing.
"No problem! If Eagle King wants her, forget one imperial beauty—I'll hand you the whole garden if you want! I'll make sure you're in heaven. Our imperial women are the best at serving men!"
With that, both men broke into lewd laughter.
......
Right now, at the Mitsui family estate in Chiba Prefecture, everything was eerily quiet. For thirty miles around, not a single local dared approach. Clearly, the morning's carnage had scared the Japanese stiff—nobody wanted to stick around!
But the quieter it got, the more it signaled that the coming battle would be brutal and terrifying.
"Ryan Ling, my Huaxia Dragon Group just got a top-secret intel drop—your duel with Hector Fujita is about to get a lot more complicated!" As night fell, Sophia Long rushed into Ryan's room.
"Miss Long, go ahead!" Ryan steadied himself and replied quickly.
"We've confirmed it—the World Dominion Society really did come to Japan, and their rep is a big shot: Eagle King, one of the Four Great Law Kings. He brought Hector Fujita an absolute treasure!" Sophia glanced around to make sure no one was listening, then nervously whispered, "The Divine Origin Pill. It's a god-tier pill. If he takes it, Hector will break into the God Realm, and his power will be on a whole other level—you might not even be able to match him!"
Sophia herself was only at Great Saint level, still worlds away from God Realm. But growing up in Yan Capital, the heart of Huaxia, and mixing with top experts since childhood, she knew just how terrifying the God Realm really was.
Below the God Realm, even the best can't compare—the gap is like heaven and earth. Right now, Hector Fujita is just infinitely close to God Realm, but once he actually breaks through, his strength will skyrocket ten thousandfold. And being in the God Realm means getting divine protection. How strong is that? Even Sophia didn't know!
"Divine Origin Pill... The World Dominion Society really went all out to kill me!" Ryan Ling clenched his fist, stunned. Luckily, he'd fought like hell and broken through to Transcending Core. That breakthrough was everything—if he'd still been stuck at Transforming Core, he'd be dead for sure. But now, at peak Transcending Core, he might not be able to kill a God Realm opponent outright, but he could at least fight Hector to a draw!
Of course, that was with his current strength. But there was still one night left before the duel—enough time to enter the Netherworld and master the last eight moves of the Infernal Madblade. If he could grasp their essence, he'd have an eighty percent chance of killing Hector, even if Hector did make it into the God Realm!

Thinking that, Ryan Ling couldn't help but let out a long sigh of relief.
"Ryan Ling, if you run into trouble, I can call in the best of the Huaxia Dragon Group right now. After all, you're not just facing Hector Fujita, but also matching wits with the World Dominion Society!" Sophia was genuinely concerned. This duel had gotten so huge that word had spread all the way to Huaxia HQ, and countless people had come to watch the China-Japan showdown—including the top Dragon Group experts, some even Sub-Saints and Saint Kings.
And there were plenty of other top experts too. If they all joined forces, Ryan's survival would be guaranteed!
But Ryan Ling just smiled and waved her off. "No need. Since I've already decided to duel Hector Fujita, it has to be one-on-one—fair and square. No tricks. I'm confident I can beat him!"
Ryan Ling was being completely honest, but Sophia Long didn't believe him for a second. Her eyes flashed, and she suddenly grabbed his hand: "How about we dual cultivate? I'll do everything I can to help you!"
Ryan had just taken a sip of tea—and promptly spat it all out.
"What's wrong? Do you really hate me that much?" Sophia frowned, clearly upset.
"It's not that I hate you—I just don't know how! Anyway, thank you for today, Miss Long. I've got important things to do, so please head back!" Ryan said quickly.
"Hmph, using me and tossing me aside! You just want to ditch me for those two Japanese girls, don't you? If they can dual cultivate with you, why can't I?" Sophia was extremely frustrated. She'd hoped dual cultivation with Ryan would let her break through to Sub-Saint, but he just kept dodging her!
"Enough with the wild ideas. There's nothing going on with them! Head back—it's late, and I don't want your reputation in the Huaxia Dragon Group getting dragged down!" Ryan hurriedly tried to usher Sophia out.
"I hate being pushed around! You—you..." Sophia started, but before she could finish, Ryan had already pushed her out the door and locked it behind her.
"Fine, look down on me, will you? You'd rather have Japanese girls than a Huaxia beauty? I'll remember this, Ryan Ling!" Sophia huffed and stomped off, furious.
"Unbelievable. I don't even know what you're jealous about!" Ryan Ling muttered, exasperated. He took a deep breath, ready to tackle something big—heading back to the Netherworld for more selfless training, to master all eighteen moves of the Infernal Madblade...
