The Three Titans Reunite

"Charles, Joe." Sean Kerr greeted them as he walked over.

Joe Qi had really turned into a playboy now, wearing a flashy floral shirt that made him look like the classic charming rogue.

Sean couldn't help but sigh, thinking about all those feelings Joe Qi had kept hidden for so many years.

All that carefree attitude was just his way of hiding what was really on his mind.

Otherwise, neither Charles nor Sean would have noticed all these years. This guy really is... something else—so deep!

As for Charles Yin, he was still pretty normal at this point—not yet the commanding, cold, and ruthless leader he'd later become.

Charles raised his glass to Sean and asked, "What brings you here?"

"My mom brought some girl home, so I had to escape and lay low," Sean said, snatching the bottle from Charles and pouring himself a drink. "Charles, didn't you just take over as CEO? How's that going?"

Charles gave a cold laugh. "All my uncles are just waiting for me to screw up the company so they can kick me out! Too bad for them—once I've got a seat, I'm not giving it up. If they handed me the CEO position on a silver platter, they can forget about ever getting it back!"

Sean paused mid-sip.

That line sounded oddly familiar.

Oh, right—in his previous life, when that crazy Lydia Lin tried to give Cecilia Gu to Charles as a 'gift,' Charles said the exact same thing.

Turns out, he wasn't just bold back then—he's always been this way.

Joe Qi looked at Sean with a hazy expression. "Sean, you seem different. Back in the day, whatever Mrs. Shang arranged, you never said no."

Sean lowered his head, a small smile tugging at his lips. "Yeah, the old me never refused anything my mom wanted. But starting now, I've learned to say no. From this moment on, nobody gets to decide my future but me!"

Charles and Joe Qi exchanged glances, not sure what had gotten into Sean to make him change so much overnight.

He was like a whole new person.

If they hadn't been friends for so many years, they'd almost think someone was impersonating Sean!

"And Charles, stop worrying about Sylvia Ran. That woman is trouble," Sean said to Charles. "Your real wife is someone else."

Joe Qi was so shocked by Sean's words he nearly jumped out of his skin. "Wait—hold on, Sean, are you really you? Sylvia Ran's the girl you grew up with! You always did whatever she wanted, like she was your own sister! And now you're saying this?"

Charles was shocked too. "Sean, I can't let you talk about Sylvia Ran like that..."

Sean replied calmly, "Joe, you must've noticed something off about Sylvia Ran, right? But you're not the type to meddle, so you never said anything."

Joe Qi raised his eyebrows, surprised at how sharp Sean's observation had become.

"Charles, we're brothers. I'd never hurt you," Sean said, hesitating before continuing, "Listen, I'll tell you a place—go investigate and you'll understand. And if you can, find the girl who truly deserves your protection as soon as possible. If I'm right, she's suffering right now. Her last life was too hard. Don't let her struggle this time."

With that, Sean downed his drink and turned to leave.

Charles and Joe Qi were left completely confused.

"What was he talking about?"

"No idea."

"Has he lost his mind?"

"Could be."

"So should we investigate?"

"Might as well."

"Joe..."

"Yeah?"

"We'll always be The Three Titans, right?"

"Always."

"Got it." Charles smiled and set down his glass. "Time to get back to the fight! The CEO seat at Yin Group will always be mine!"

With that, Charles got up, waved, and strode out coolly.

Joe Qi held his glass, eyes flickering, then downed his drink and suddenly laughed. "Guess everyone’s got their secrets and regrets! Sean, what happened to wake you up like this, to see through Sylvia Ran? Not bad! Well, since I love digging into things, I’ll investigate this missing woman and find out what secrets she’s hiding."

After leaving the bar, Sean took a deep breath.
