Unexpected Situation

------------

Every second was precious as Shawn Young and Mai Kanda made passionate love, their affection lasting all the way into the drizzly morning. Deep in the heart of Dongyao Mountain, the weather was unique—it had rained all night, making the outside air suddenly chilly, like the onset of autumn. But inside, it was warm and blooming with desire. The two spent a sleepless night, entangled in each other's arms. Mai Kanda's voluptuous, mature body was endlessly tempting, drawing Shawn in like a black hole absorbing light. He greedily worked and toiled, bringing her to climax again and again. The bedroom was filled with warmth and the soft sounds of pleasure, as they clung to each other, unable to get enough. Mai Kanda's innate fox-like seductiveness was fully awakened, making her even more irresistible. She eagerly matched Shawn's fierce energy, savoring every minute—one taking, one giving. Shawn cherished her deeply, and neither knew how many rounds they had gone. Only when Mai Kanda collapsed, breathless and limp in Shawn's arms, her cheeks flushed, did their passionate battle finally pause.

The entire bed was a mess, with large, blurry wet spots everywhere. Both bodies were slick with sweat, especially Mai Kanda—her delicate figure was drenched in fragrant sweat, exuding an intoxicating aura. Shawn finally understood why people say 'women are made of water'—it was definitely about women like Mai Kanda: full, sweet, and every bite bursting with flavor.

"Oh—Master, you're so strong! You wore me out all night—Mai's exhausted—" Mai Kanda let out a long sigh, sliding down from the peak of pleasure. Her arms clung to Shawn's neck like an octopus, her eyes dreamy, lips parted. As she shifted, her hips turned, and Shawn saw a huge wet patch on the snowy white mattress—the glorious evidence of their all-night battle. Thinking back to Mai Kanda's enthusiastic cooperation and sweet moans, Shawn couldn't help but hug her tightly and kiss her hair.

Mai Kanda was completely spent. Although she was a special ninja, far tougher than ordinary women, Shawn's boundless enthusiasm had been especially fierce—he managed to wear her out all night, leaving her drained several times over. Shawn pulled the exhausted Mai Kanda into his arms, and she quickly drifted off to sleep, clutching his neck. Only then did Shawn turn on his phone, which he'd purposely kept off to enjoy their private time, not wanting any interruptions.

But as soon as he turned it on, he saw a flood of messages—mostly from Wang Xiaomin and Hu Yiner, with dozens of missed calls and texts, easily over a hundred! Just as he was about to check them, another call came in. Shawn glanced at the screen—it was Fiona Nangong. Only then did he remember Fiona and the people from the Three Great Houses of China were working with the Military Paranormal Division to hunt down enemies hiding in the city. He quickly answered the call.

"Shawn Young—where the hell have you been? Why did you turn off your phone?! Is your side done yet?" Fiona Nangong started off with a rant before getting to the point.

"Oh! Almost. Things went pretty smoothly on my end, just a few hiccups—nothing major! Mai got injured, so I was treating her and turned off my phone to let her rest!" Shawn replied, half-truthfully. He was referring to Hayato Falcon's soul escaping, but he believed that as long as all the Japanese enemies hiding in China were wiped out, Mai Kanda would be safe—after all, this wasn't Japan.

"Ugh—seriously, you just know how to enjoy yourself. Things are way more complicated over here!" Fiona Nangong complained, clearly frustrated.

"What happened? Your side isn't the main battleground—you're just rounding up a few leftovers, right? How could there be trouble?" Shawn asked, puzzled.

"Sigh—it's a weird case. Our team used the invisible tracker signal and traced it all the way to the Fookang Apartment Hotel on Yangxin Road. That place was a hideout for a small group of Japanese operatives. We took out the ones guarding the outside, but when we stormed in to arrest the leader, he summoned two really powerful, mysterious figures!" Fiona Nangong explained.

"Huh? You mean the Japanese have outside help too!?" Shawn asked quickly.

"Yeah! That Japanese guy is actually a master of magic. He cast spells so strong we couldn't get close, and the two outsiders he called in were terrifyingly skilled—they nearly overwhelmed us. Luckily, the Paranormal Division showed up, or we'd have suffered heavy casualties!" Fiona said.

"Whoa—a magic master and powerful backup! Looks like our enemies aren't so easy to deal with... So, where are they now?" Shawn started to realize things were getting complicated and pressed for more details.

"Sigh—after those three injured so many of our people, they just drove off from the hotel and vanished. Now our team and the police are searching the whole city, but there's no sign of them anywhere!" Fiona said anxiously.

"Uh—how long ago did those three leave?" Shawn asked.

"Not even two hours yet. We've blocked all the main roads out of Nanning City, including the railways and airport, but there's still no trace of them. Unless they left on foot, they should still be somewhere in the city! But with millions of people here, finding them quickly is no easy task. Plus, we lost over a dozen men, and dozens more were injured—their wounds are strange, hit by magic, and even the doctors can't figure it out. You're the one who knows how to treat these, right? If you're done over there, hurry up and come help!" Fiona said, clearly frustrated.

"Alright, I'll head over right away!" Shawn finally realized how serious things were and quickly got out of bed to get dressed. Next to him, Mai Kanda also opened her eyes and got up.

"Mai, if you're tired, just rest for now. I'll go check things out first!" Shawn said quickly.

"Master, I'm your woman—I have to go with you! At the very least, I can help you out." Mai Kanda didn't listen and started getting dressed right away.

"Oh—you really are impossible!" Shawn was touched, hugged her and gave her a kiss. They got dressed and left the house together.

Outside the military base, they saw a large group of soldiers cleaning up the battlefield. After a night of fierce fighting, all three Iga ninja leaders had been captured alive, and over three hundred Iga ninjas were completely wiped out. Only two of their own were killed, with a dozen wounded. Against ninja forces as tough as special ops, this was a huge victory! Of course, it was all thanks to the power of the "Tiangang Seven-Star Slayer Formation" that Shawn had set up.

Shawn naturally took Mai Kanda's hand and walked toward the command center. He needed to get a car to head into the city. All the soldiers looked at them with respect—they knew Shawn's special status and that this victory was thanks to his planning. Soldiers always respect strength, so even with Shawn holding hands with the beautiful Mai Kanda in public, no one minded.

But just as they reached the command center entrance, the roar of a car engine sounded behind them. Shawn turned to see Colonel Hank Han, his arm bandaged, driving a military jeep right up to them and stopping by his side.

"Hey, Big Brother Hank, how did things go on your side? Did you wipe out all the Nightshade mercenaries?" Shawn noticed Hank's grim expression.

"Ugh—last night's battle was rough. We almost wiped out the enemy, but one slipped away—and it was a big fish! The Nightshade Mercenary Corps' boss, Fakeyou, managed to escape under heavy fire, sneaking to the bay and stealing a modified speedboat left by the Japanese. The coast guard couldn't catch him, and he made it out to international waters. Damn—I'm ashamed!" Hank shook his head, looking frustrated.

"Well, the Nightshade Mercenary Corps are ranked seventh on the international mercenary list. Every member is ex-special forces, highly skilled and tough. The fact you got this result is already impressive!" Mai Kanda said.

"Yeah, that's all we can tell ourselves for now. Sigh—looks like our Dragonforce Battalion still needs more experience, especially in night jungle combat. Even with backup from the armed police, things got messy. We really need more training! Compared to the world's top teams, Dragonforce still has a lot to learn!" Hank recalled last night's ambush, still looking annoyed.

"Don't be upset, Big Brother Hank. Pressure makes you stronger!" Shawn encouraged him.

"Yeah, you're right. Dragonforce will definitely step up training! By the way—where are you two headed?" Hank finally asked Shawn.

"Oh, there's trouble with the Three Great Houses—we need to rush over and check it out. I was just looking for a car to get back to the city," Shawn explained.

"What? They've got problems? Then hurry up and get in! I'll drive you there right now!" Hank shouted.

"Alright! Mai, let's get in!" Shawn didn't hesitate and pulled Mai Kanda into Hank's military jeep. The three of them left the base and sped toward Nanning City.
