If It Is a Magic Artifact I Will Eat This Zisha Teapot

"Five million. My bid."

Lin Yi spoke calmly.

"You? Do you even have that kind of money? You think five million is the same as five hundred?" Lin Ting sneered, looking utterly contemptuous.

Martin Mu glanced at Lin Yi, thought for a moment, then nodded. "Alright. Since you came with Sam 'Second Brother' Su, I trust you won't try to skip out on the bill."

Martin Mu deliberately emphasized the words 'Sam Su.'

Since Lin Yi came with Second Brother Su, if he can't pay, Martin Mu can demand the money from Second Brother Su according to the rules.

Even at its absolute peak, the Antique Zisha Teapot is only worth one or two million. With the price now doubled, Martin Mu had every reason to make the deal.

Melissa Mu glanced at Lin Yi, her eyes flickering with uncertainty.

Lin Yuhai, Lin Ting, Victor Moore, and the others stared at Lin Yi like he was an absolute fool.

"This friend seems determined to get the Antique Zisha Teapot. Are you suggesting I misjudged it?" Sword Master Eric Cui, who hadn't spoken yet, swept a cold, indifferent glance at Lin Yi and gave a dismissive snort. His face showed clear impatience.

That made Sam Su inwardly panic. The Daoist beside him nodded and said to Lin Yi, "You're still young. This Antique Zisha Teapot has already been appraised by both me and Sword Master Eric Cui—it's definitely not a magic artifact. Spending five million on a teapot like this? You must have had your brain slammed in a door!"

After a few rounds of this, Sam Su felt a spark of anger inside, but he could only hold it in with nowhere to vent.

"In the end, I'm still the one who'll have to pay that five million. What kind of mess is this!"

Sam Su stewed in silence, grumbling to himself.

With Lin Yi's five-million bid, no one else dared to raise the price. In everyone's eyes, the teapot just wasn't worth that kind of money.

"No more bids? Then the Antique Zisha Teapot is yours." Martin Mu spoke coolly, then signaled to an assistant, who nodded and quickly fetched the teapot from the back display.

The teapot was wrapped in a delicate box to prevent it from being chipped or damaged if exposed to the air or dropped.

"This is the Antique Zisha Teapot you just won. Five million." Martin Mu handed the teapot to Lin Yi.

Lin Yi took it, opened the box right away, and inspected the teapot for a moment.

The crowd watched Lin Yi handle the teapot, thinking he clearly wasn't someone who knew anything about antiques.

Martin Mu pressed on, "The teapot's in your hands now. When are you going to settle the payment?"

The Daoist wore a strange smile, waiting to see Evan Lin get humiliated. He was still bitter about Evan Lin stealing his thunder the night before.

Melissa Mu looked a little worried.

Sword Master Eric Cui had been completely dismissive, but when his gaze happened to fall on the ground, his eyes suddenly narrowed, and he let out a soft, surprised sound.

On the floor, the body of the Antique Zisha Teapot was shattered, but the base remained perfectly intact. The bluish-purple base was covered in faint white lines, which at first glance looked like heavy wear and tear.

"What's that...?"

Sword Master Eric Cui froze in surprise.

Martin Mu and the others noticed Sword Master Eric Cui's expression and immediately stopped laughing, turning their attention to the floor.

Evan Lin picked up the thin base, held it in his hand, and gave it a little shake. A layer of grime fell away, revealing the bluish-purple metal underneath, which now looked more gray-white—almost metallic.

The metal glimmered faintly, not dazzling but subtle. Even so, everyone nearby could smell a delicate, lingering fragrance that filled their noses, making their whole bodies feel refreshed and their minds clearer.

"Master, what is that?"

Sam "Second Brother" Su's eyes lit up at the sight. All his earlier annoyance vanished, replaced by a pounding heart.

"Like I said, this is exactly what you call a magic artifact."

"It's just that it's so ancient that most of its power has faded away. Now it only has a little effect—like slightly extending life and helping with circulation."

Evan Lin sighed. To him, this magic artifact was basically useless.

"A magic artifact?"

Martin Mu, Henry Lin, and the others stared intently, their faces shifting in shock.

Sword Master Eric Cui's expression turned strange. After a moment's thought, he nodded. "It does feel a bit like a magic artifact. I can sense a faint aura from it."

As soon as he said that, all doubts vanished from the crowd.

Leon Lin's heart skipped a beat. He cursed Evan Lin's luck, but before he could react, Evan Lin turned and looked straight at him.

"Just now, you said if it was a magic artifact, you'd eat this teapot."
