Sure enough, as soon as Ian Song finished speaking, Lydia Wade flipped up nimbly, shot a wary look at him, and bolted out of the room.

"Where do you think you're going!"

Chloe Cao called out sharply, darted forward to block Lydia, and kicked her back into the room.

"Meat! I want meat! You dare block me—damn you all!"

Lydia Wade flipped up again, her eyes blood-red, glaring at Ian Song and the others with pure hatred.

She strode forward.

Ian Song instantly closed in on Lydia. She was startled and tried to retreat, but Ian moved too fast, tapping several acupoints on her body in quick succession. Her body froze in place, completely immobilized.

"Young Master Song, my daughter—?"

Master Wade asked again, worried.

Ian Song replied, "I've sealed your daughter's acupoints so she can't move. The ghost possessing her craves raw meat every day. If it can't control her body to get meat, it will eventually leave on its own!"

"Young Hero Song is truly impressive—to actually come up with such a method!" the old Daoist exclaimed in praise.

Ian Song smiled modestly, then turned to the shabby old monk: "Master, when the ghost comes out of Miss Wade, I'll have to trouble you to subdue it!"

"No problem, no problem. If you eat and drink someone's food and take their gold, your hands are tied—it's only right to help out!" The shabby old monk chuckled.

"Meat! I want meat!"

Suddenly, Lydia's expression grew desperate as she roared for meat.

But everyone simply ignored her.

Time passed slowly. Lydia kept roaring for meat, her face growing more and more twisted and ferocious.

Finally, after about an hour, the ghost inside her couldn't stand it any longer and suddenly floated out from the top of her head.

This ghost was an extremely ugly, big-headed infant, radiating a sinister, evil aura.

"That's hideous!" Chloe Cao frowned.
