"So that's how it is. I wonder why Terry Yang came here—doesn't he worry about running into something powerful?" Elder Simon Spring was genuinely curious. Terry Yang wouldn't just bring a bunch of elite archers out here for no reason, probably to see these things up close.
Terry Yang laughed, "I want to wipe out these nests. Aren't you bored too? Might as well help me clear a few, so my planet can stay stable for a bit longer."
"No problem. If Lord Terry needs anything, I'll help out," Elder Simon Spring replied.
"Alright, let's just let these archers do their thing now. We just need to watch," Terry Yang said with a smile.
After that, under Terry Yang's command, all the archers concentrated their fire on the nest. With the first volley, the remaining Shard Bugs swarmed out like hornets, mixed with some larvae and even variants that not even Terry Han had seen before.
"These bugs are way stronger than the larvae. Must be the ones above the larvae in the hierarchy," Terry Han thought to himself.
After the first volley, most of them were wiped out. When the second wave hit, there were barely any left.
"Lord Terry, looks like this nest didn't have that many bugs," Elder Simon Spring estimated. This nest probably only had a few hundred bugs to begin with, and now they're all gone. Even the nest itself was smashed to pieces, but something small was floating in the void.
Terry Yang laughed, "This was just a normal nest, so there weren't many bugs. Look, that crystal tells you everything." "Crystal?" Elder Simon Spring looked closely, and sure enough, in the dark void, a finger-sized object was glowing faint yellow.
Terry Yang walked over and picked up the core crystal. Elder Simon Spring could sense the aura coming off that little shard—even though it wasn't super strong, it was definitely dense.
