Corpse-Refining Realm

"That is true." Evan Yang replied.

"So you want an Immortal-Gate Key too?" the woman suddenly asked. She knew that Evan Yang would be able to enter the Pseudo-Immortal Stage within a hundred years, so that requirement was already met. If he could just obtain a key, he'd have everything he needed—the qualifications to enter the Immortal Realm would be settled.

"Of course," Evan answered casually.

"That won't be easy," the woman replied. "When the time comes, there will definitely be a major battle. Anyone who has a key will do everything possible to get through. Taking one from them won't be simple."

The Fiend Palace Lord also chimed in, "That's right. Our Fiend Palace may have three keys, but we have more than three cultivators at the Pseudo-Immortal Stage. Once the entrance to the Immortal Realm is revealed, we'll do everything we can to send three people through."

"I know that. But it comes down to luck—maybe someday I'll get one too," Evan said with a smile.

"You're really in good spirits. If it were anyone else, they'd be obsessed with figuring out how to get a key," the Fiend Palace Lord laughed.

"Exactly," the woman agreed.

"Alright, let's not talk about this anymore. Once we've finished today's wine, I'm going into seclusion. I want to step into the Pseudo-Immortal Stage as soon as possible," Evan said with a smile.

"Seclusion again? Aren't you supposed to automatically break through within a hundred years?" the woman said, speechless.

"That's true, but my cultivation speed is so fast that I still need to stabilize it a bit more," Evan Yang said with a smile.

The Fiend Palace Lord and the woman exchanged glances, at a loss for words at Evan's comment. Should they praise him, or say something else?

"You're seriously a freak!" the woman finally said helplessly.

"Palace Lord, you can head back now. The sixth Immortal-Gate Entrance Map fragment won't appear so soon," Evan said with a smile.

"Why not?" the Fiend Palace Lord asked suspiciously.

"Didn't I just say? Once I reach the Pseudo-Immortal Stage, that map will show up," Evan repeated what he'd said at the Wind Shrine.

The woman shot him a glare. "Arrogant!"

"I'm just telling the truth. Why don't you believe me?" Evan said helplessly.

"Who cares about your 'truth'! That map was stolen by a master of disguise," the woman retorted.

Evan almost wanted to say that the master of disguise was himself, but he held back and just smiled. "Alright, let's drop it."

"Are you really planning to enter seclusion?" the Fiend Palace Lord asked suspiciously.

"Yes, that's right," Evan Yang replied.

"I was originally going to advise you to focus more on getting an Immortal-Gate Key. There are plenty of Pseudo-Immortal Stage experts—even if you qualify for the stage, without a key there's nothing you can do," the Fiend Palace Lord suggested.

"Don't worry, I'll figure something out," Evan said gratefully.

"Alright then," the Fiend Palace Lord nodded.

Just as Evan was about to say goodbye to the Fiend Palace Lord and the woman, the Fiend Palace Lord suddenly remembered something and sound-transmitted to Evan, "After you reach the Pseudo-Immortal Stage, come to the Fiend Realm and look for Lord Fourfold Chimera."

"Lord Fourfold Chimera?" Evan looked at the Fiend Palace Lord, puzzled.

"When the time comes, come find me. I'll take you there," the Fiend Palace Lord said.

Evan nodded in understanding, then bid farewell to the two. After Evan left, the woman and the Fiend Palace Lord departed as well.

The woman returned to the Fenn Family. With nothing urgent to do, she headed for Hundred-Bloom Palace.
