Announcing Three Marriages

1/19/2026

Selena Yale’s words left the other sects puzzled. A life‑and‑death alliance basically meant two great sects merging into one, though they continued to exist as separate entities.

Everyone knew that, although Heavenly Fragrance Pavilion was made up entirely of women, its strength was terrifying—especially its signature Heavenly Fragrance Poison, which made people shudder just hearing the name. That was one reason Heavenly Fragrance Pavilion could hold its ground in the Azure Tide Ruins.

Now that Heavenly Fragrance Pavilion has formed a life-and-death alliance with Frostbane Sect, their relationship is clearly extraordinary. With the two strongest sects also voicing support, even if the other sects have objections, none dare speak out.

"Bloodfiend Hall also supports Frostbane Sect's rise. Now that the Mist Rain Pavilion Master has been slain, it will be very difficult for Mist Rain Pavilion to recover. Frostbane Sect replacing Mist Rain Pavilion as a top power is the most fitting outcome," declared Bloodfiend Hall Master Darius Nie.

The other major sects could only nod in tacit agreement. They couldn't understand why they were supporting a mere youngster—no matter how strong he was, a sect can't rise without manpower and resources. Right now, Frostbane Sect was so poor it was almost begging on the streets.

The Dark Sanctuary hall master was always the most low‑key. He just said a few words to show his support, then left with his disciples. As he was leaving, Damien Noctis—the Black Night Youth—turned to Evan Chu and said, “You’re strong. I hope we can cross swords someday on the Divine Battlefield.”

It was just a simple sentence, but in Evan Chu’s heart, it stirred up waves. This black‑clad youth gave him a strange sense of familiarity, but he couldn’t place where it came from.

"Evan, this person is no ordinary figure. His strength might not be beneath yours—in fact, he could be the true master of Dark Sanctuary, with the hall master just a puppet. You need to be careful around him," Sword Spirit Luna suddenly warned.

Evan Chu was even more shocked at this, and quickly asked, “Who do you think he is? Could he be Venerable Solus? That doesn’t seem likely… Maybe one of the Demon Clan generals?”

“He’s definitely Demon Clan, but there’s no demonic aura on him at all—which means his concealment is extremely high. His strength has already broken through to at least Second‑Layer Saint Martial Realm. In this tournament, he didn’t use his full power at all; if he had, nobody could’ve survived even one move against him. They’re probably waiting or scheming for something, not daring to make a move against the Nine Great Sects yet. You need to keep an eye on this,” Sword Spirit Luna said.

“Alright, I understand. Once things are settled here, I’ll investigate. If it really is Solus’s faction, I won’t show any mercy,” Evan Chu said solemnly.

Evan Chu glanced at the crowd, then turned to the Freewind Palace Lord. “Palace Lord, once Frostbane Sect’s mountain gate is rebuilt, it’ll be time for me to marry Serena Dream. These are my betrothal gifts for her!”

As soon as Evan finished speaking, two Star Crystals appeared in his hand! The sect leaders were all visibly surprised—everyone knew how valuable Star Crystals were. For Evan Chu to give them so casually, he must be truly wealthy.

Palace Lord Yurong Hua smiled. “Since Sect Master Evan is so generous, I’ll accept them. Serena and I will be waiting for your wedding procession at Freewind Palace!”

With that, she accepted Evan’s Star Crystals. Only a fool would refuse gifts like these.

Evan Chu then walked up to Bloodfiend Hall Master Darius Nie and said, “On the day I marry Serena Dream, I’ll also marry Lynne Nie. I promised her that if I could win Serena, I’d marry her too. Both women are Saintesses, so these two Star Crystals are Lynne’s betrothal gifts—I hope the Hall Master will give his blessing.”

Darius Nie laughed, “For Lynne to marry such a young and promising sect master is a blessing for her—I’ll gladly agree! But Sect Master Evan, these betrothal gifts are almost too valuable for me to accept!”

“If you say that, Hall Master, you’re looking down on me, Evan Chu! I’ll notify everyone when the time comes. Anyone who wants to attend my wedding feast is warmly welcomed at Frostbane Sect. Today, in front of all these heroes, I’ll settle these marriages once and for all!” Evan laughed.

Serena Dream and Lynne Nie didn’t dare come forward right now. Their cheeks were burning red with embarrassment, but inside they were overwhelmed with happiness. Never in their wildest dreams had they imagined that this so‑called Mad Young Lord would become such a force—able to make all the great sects acknowledge him, and even hand out Star Crystals as if they were nothing. It was enough to make anyone jealous.

At that moment, Evan Chu flew over to stand before Selena Yale. Before he could say anything, Selena quickly cut in, “Evan, what are you about to do? Don’t you dare cause trouble! With so many people watching, where am I supposed to put my dignity?”

Evan Chu ignored her protests and grabbed Selena Yale’s jade hand, announcing to the crowd, “Let me make something clear today: Heavenly Fragrance Pavilion Master Selena Yale is also my woman—she’ll be marrying me on that day, too! Heavenly Fragrance Pavilion will have another Pavilion Master then, and I hope everyone drinks themselves silly at the wedding!”

His words struck the crowd like a thunderbolt. They’d already seen how domineering Evan Chu was, and his strength was terrifying—but this move was even more shocking. He’d already won the hearts of the two top Saintesses in the Azure Tide Ruins, and now he was about to marry a sect master as well. No one had ever heard of anything like it.

The disciples of Heavenly Fragrance Pavilion were utterly stunned. Their master had always treated men like dirt—how could she fall for a man, and one nearly ten years younger at that?

They couldn’t figure out when the two had gotten together. Evan Chu had only appeared in the Azure Tide Ruins less than two months ago, and now they were already a couple—it was unbelievable.

Selena Yale’s face flushed bright red as she stared at Evan Chu. “Why are you in such a hurry? I wasn’t ready at all—you’re making me so embarrassed!” As she spoke, she pinched his waist hard, but she didn’t worry about hurting him; with his defense, even if she tried her hardest, he wouldn’t feel a thing.

“I’m about to be a father—how could I not be in a hurry? From now on, you should just move into Frostbane Sect so I can take care of you!” Evan said gently, then handed her two Star Crystals.

“I don’t have much to give you, except my love and these Star Crystals to help you raise your strength!”

“Evan, being your woman is enough for me! No matter how the world judges me, I’ll never regret it!” Selena Yale declared with conviction.

At that moment, Marcus Blake—the Unrivaled Young Lord—and Quentin Wen—the Young Lord Wenqin—flew over to congratulate Evan Chu. “Brother Evan, congratulations! You really kept us in the dark. We never imagined you were this strong—if we’ve offended you in the past, please forgive us!”

Evan Chu laughed, “Come on, don’t be so formal—we’re friends, aren’t we? Besides, I never hid anything from you. I said I was from Frostbane Sect and that I was going to pursue Serena Dream. All of that was true!”

Just then, a Frostbane Sect disciple flew over, pale-faced, and reported to Evan Chu, “Sect Master, after Mist Rain Pavilion’s people left, they were all found dead on the road back…”
