Wang Shili was obviously not personally invited by Dean Gu. At his rank, begging to enter Wutong Academy was practically unheard of, but seeing Su Li was young and new, he made up a lie to trick her, hoping she would first enroll in his class.

Su Li twitched her mouth, looked at Wang Shili, and cupped her hands, saying, "Um, Master Wang, could you please step aside? I have other matters."

"How can you be so snobbish at such a young age? I already told you, that new guy Su Yu is just a fame-seeker. If you choose him as your teacher, you'll regret it for life!" Wang Shili was furious that the new student refused to join his class. He blamed Su Yu for stealing his students even before showing up!

Just as Wang Shili finished speaking, a student nearby jumped up excitedly and shouted, "Dean Gu is here, coming this way!"

Wang Shili was stunned and turned around to see the legendary Dean Gu actually walking this way. It even seemed like he was heading straight towards him!?

Wang Shili's whole body almost boiled with excitement. Could it be that Dean Gu came specifically to talk to him?

Dean Gu stroked his beard and smiled, returning the gesture to the "new student": "Greetings, Master Su Yu."
