Mysterious Young Woman

Now Evan Lin could walk openly across All-Stars City. This time, Elder Lee hadn’t brought any guards along, but in All-Stars City, many people still recognized him—after the City Lord, he was the most powerful figure around.

"Young master, there are only two places in All-Stars City that sell elemental crystals—one in the east, one in the north. Neither is very big, and if we're lucky, we might find some mid-grade elemental crystals. But don't get your hopes up too high," Elder Lee said.

"It's fine. Just because they don't have it here doesn't mean other places won't. Let's check out the eastern shop first," Evan Lin replied with a smile.

The elemental crystal shop in the east sold a huge variety of items—antiques, jade pendants, jewelry, rare ores, magical artifacts, and talismans. Business was booming, with a constant stream of customers coming and going.

Before long, the two of them arrived outside the shop. Evan Lin took a careful look—the place was only average in size, but packed with people. A middle-aged man stood at the counter, beaming with joy, clearly pleased with how much money he was making.

They walked in, and a young maiden came over—mainly because of Elder Lee's arrival. When the middle-aged man at the door saw Elder Lee, he was shocked: how could such a big shot from All-Stars City show up in his shop? This was someone he absolutely couldn’t afford to offend. One wrong move, and his shop might be shut down for good. He had to make sure they were treated well.

"Hall Master, your personal visit truly brings glory to our humble shop! May I ask what you’re looking for today? If Fragrant Grace Hall has anything you need, please take it as a meeting gift—how does that sound?" the young woman said.

As she spoke, her eyes turned to Evan Lin. With his late-stage Heavenly God cultivation at such a young age, he was terrifyingly talented for a place like All-Stars City. He seemed unfamiliar—she’d never seen him before in the city—yet he was walking in so closely with the Hall Master, almost like they were old friends. It made people wonder about his true identity.

Evan Lin was just as surprised—and even more curious. From the way the young woman spoke, it was clear her status was anything but simple. The shopkeeper hadn’t said a word, but she took the lead in greeting Elder Lee, almost as if she was the real master here.

What truly shocked Evan Lin was that he couldn’t see through the young woman’s strength at all. It was hazy and indistinct, but he knew she had to be at least in the God-Lord Realm or higher. Deep down, he felt a clear sense of danger—he couldn’t explain it, but the feeling was unmistakable.
