Mason Keys and Selena Frost both cupped their fists in gratitude to Joe Di, then sat down to tend to their injuries.
Joe Di walked over to the shelf on the left, which held six items in total. With his eleventh-level spiritual sense, he broke the restriction on the first item in just half a stick of incense. Inside was a treasure resembling a handkerchief. With a brief sweep of his spiritual sense, Joe could tell it was a grade above top-tier spiritual artifacts—likely an immortal artifact. He had no use for it himself, so he decided to leave it for Di Dee.
He spent another half a stick of incense to break the second restriction, revealing a scorching blue stone. Sensing the laws emanating from the stone, which felt higher than those of the cultivation world, Joe suspected it was a material from the Immortal Realm. Since he hadn't yet encountered Immortal Realm items in the True Spirit World, he placed it in a jade box and stored it in the True Spirit World.
The third restriction was a bit more complex, taking Joe a whole stick of incense to break. Inside were two talismans swirling with Dao Rhythms.
Joe was overjoyed. He quickly took out two jade boxes and stored the talismans away. These were Realmshatter Talismans—exactly what he urgently needed.
Realmshatter Talismans usually come in pairs, so finding two was perfectly normal.
"Young Master Hongying, thank you for saving my life. Back when you were at the Soul Ancestor Stage, I was at the Transforming True Stage. Now, your cultivation is probably no weaker than mine, right? I'm still at Transforming True... Sigh, I really can't comprehend the world of geniuses." Mason Keys was the first to stand up. Although his wounds weren't fully healed, he could move about.
In fact, he was a genius himself, but even among geniuses, there were differences. He might be a genius of the cultivation world, but someone like Joe Di was probably a genius of the entire universe.
"Sect Master Yan, I have something to ask you. As the leader of a sect, and one of the five grand sect masters of the Central Realm, why did you use your spiritual sense to search a woman's entire body in front of everyone? Was it just for a Fivefold Dao Disk?" Joe Di didn't bother with niceties and asked directly.
Hearing Joe Di's question, Mason Keys was stunned, then quickly understood. He sighed and said, "Young Master Hongying, you must have heard this from someone else, right? While I am greedy for treasures and would kill for them without hesitation, I wouldn't go so far as to search a junior woman's body in public with my spiritual sense. I know you're talking about Di Feixue. When she was brought before the five grand sect masters, Shu Haolan wanted to search her directly with his spiritual sense. I stopped him and suggested that Selena Frost, the sect master of Mistmoon Peak, inspect her alone instead."
However, Sect Master Selena Frost refused to examine Di Feixue. She left decisively, even stating she would give up the Fivefold Dao Disk. In fact, she truly did abandon the Fivefold Dao Disk and left. Shu Haolan proposed that the four sect masters should jointly search Di Feixue with their spiritual senses. I, Mason Keys, am not a good person, but I have no interest in doing such a thing, so I also gave up searching for the Fivefold Dao Disk. Because of this, when Sect Master Edward Carter contacted me to explore the Mojiang Forbidden Grounds together, my first thought was of Sect Master Selena Frost. The three of us entered the Mojiang Forbidden Grounds together and ended up trapped here. If Young Master Hongying hadn't come, our deaths would have been inevitable."
"Sect Master Yan speaks the truth. I too refuse to use my spiritual sense to search a junior, even if that junior is a woman. I simply don't wish to do such a thing." Selena Frost's voice rang out just in time. She had stabilized her injuries; though her lifespan was greatly reduced, surviving was already a blessing.
"So that's how it was." Joe Di cupped his fists to Mason Keys. He felt even more displeased toward Di Feixue, who was trying to use him. Even though they were from the same clan, he no longer wished to have any dealings with her.
"Thank you, Young Master Hongying, for saving us. Were you able to find what you were looking for?" Edward Carter also stopped healing and walked over.
Joe Di asked in confusion, "Sect Master Carter, judging by my experience entering here, this place is extremely dangerous. How did you all manage to cross the Grimcoffin?"
Joe Di had witnessed the terror of the Grimcoffin firsthand. It could easily erode one's vitality and lifespan. If not for his Rainbow Immortal Peach, his fate would have been no better than the three before him.
Even if he could rush past the Grimcoffin, he would likely die to the two coffin nails in the end. Having just crossed the Grimcoffin, both spiritual sense and true essence would be utterly depleted. At that moment, if the two powerful coffin nails struck, dodging them would be impossible.
Edward Carter sighed, "I managed it thanks to a Bloodjade Token left behind by Master Grimlife. That token requires three Ascendants working together to open the Grimcoffin. So I invited Sect Master Yan and Sect Master Selena Frost to join me. Together, we used the Bloodjade Token to break through the Grimcoffin."
Even so, we still underestimated the Grimcoffin's corrosive power. As soon as we emerged, we were utterly exhausted, and in the end, couldn't evade Master Grimlife's coffin nails, getting pinned down in this tomb chamber.
Joe Di nodded. This explanation was believable. In any case, he'd obtained the Realmshatter Talismans, so the trip wasn't in vain.
"Young Master Hongying, you saved me, so I don't have the face to take anything from here. Please take everything for yourself." Seeing Joe Di accept his explanation, Edward Carter quickly added. Since Joe Di arrived here unharmed and was able to save them, Edward knew Joe's strength far surpassed his own.
Mason Keys and Selena Frost also hurriedly cupped their fists and said, "We don't want anything from here either."
Joe Di laughed heartily. "I'm not someone who takes everything for myself. Of the items here, you three can split the rest among yourselves. I'll wait here while you take what you need."
There were eight items left. Hearing that Joe Di didn't want them, Edward Carter, Mason Keys, and Selena Frost were all overjoyed. After all, the three of them had helped Joe Di get through the Grimcoffin. Seeing that Joe was sincere, the three thanked him again and each went to break the restrictions.
It wasn't that they didn't want to be polite, but their cultivation had all reached a bottleneck. The items here might help them advance further. To be polite now would be to go against their own Dao.

After Mason Keys, Edward Carter, and Selena Frost began breaking the restrictions, they realized just how powerful Joe Di was. Each restriction took them days to break, while earlier Joe Di had broken three in just one and a half sticks of incense.
Joe Di didn't help with breaking restrictions. Half a month later, the three had broken all the restrictions. Mason Keys and Edward Carter each obtained three items, while Selena Frost got two.
"Sect Master Carter, are we supposed to leave through the same place?" Joe Di was still wary of the pitch-black Grimcoffin.
"No need. Master Grimlife's Bloodjade Token can activate the teleportation array here." As Edward Carter spoke, he walked to the back of the yellow jade rack on the right side of the tomb chamber.
Only then did Joe Di notice some faint array markings behind the yellow jade rack on the right. Earlier, he'd been focused on finding the Realmshatter Talismans and hadn't noticed them.
Edward Carter and the others all stood at the array markings and activated the Bloodjade Token in their hands...
Joe Di was a ninth-tier King Array Master, and he'd encountered tenth-tier arrays before. Standing at the spot of the array markings, his heart was pounding. Remembering the dread he felt in the Grimcoffin, he hesitated no longer, stepped out of the array markings, and threw out the Terraflame Banner.
There was something he couldn't figure out: when passing through the Grimcoffin, he ate the Rainbow Immortal Peach, and his vitality not only wasn't eroded, but grew even stronger. Yet, as he rushed out of the Grimcoffin, he was nearly corroded by the terrifying vitality inside the coffin. That corrosion was likely related to the corpse within.
The one inside the Grimcoffin was most likely Master Grimlife. But if Master Grimlife himself was inside the Grimcoffin, why would he leave a Bloodjade Token for others to take things from his tomb, and even leave a teleportation array for people to escape? Was Master Grimlife some kind of selfless benefactor?
Sure enough, as the Bloodjade Token activated the teleportation array, a deadly blood-red mist enveloped everyone, ready to send them straight to the Grimcoffin.
"Jie jie..." A shrill, eerie cry echoed from the Grimcoffin, as if it was powering the teleportation array.
The faces of Mason Keys and the other two changed drastically. As sect masters and Transforming True experts, they immediately realized they'd been tricked by the Bloodjade Token's teleportation.
But at that moment, they were wrapped in the light of the teleportation array and couldn't escape at all.
Joe Di threw out the Terraflame Banner just in time, disrupting the teleportation laws of the array at the critical moment.
Joe Di had already touched upon a trace of spatial law, and since the teleportation array only covered a short distance, as soon as the Terraflame Banner disrupted the array, Joe stepped out of it.
With the array disrupted by Joe Di, Mason Keys and the other two also fell out midway, landing at the entrance to the Grimcoffin—just a step away from falling in.
The three reacted quickly, immediately rushing away from the Grimcoffin and landing beside Joe Di.
Joe Di had already put away the Terraflame Banner and was frowning as he stared at the Grimcoffin.
"Young Master Hongying, you've saved our lives once again." Mason Keys was the first to thank Joe Di.
Edward Carter and Selena Frost also came over to thank him, both looking a bit pale.
"Sect Master Carter, since you obtained Master Grimlife's Bloodjade Token, you must know some of his legends, right? What exactly was Master Grimlife?" Joe Di suddenly asked.
(That's all for today's update. Good night, friends!)
